Carlos
I knew Carlos would be good. I wanted to m#rd3r him in Bulldog's book, though. It's nice to get to understand his struggles. Hearing Zoe's story was heartbreaking. Can't wait for the 2nd installment.

This was a short book. This was about Zoe and Carlos. Zoe was a nurse at an old age home and sue was taking care of Conners grandfather. He was in the service but he would come visit on leave. One day he came he noticed Zoe had a bruised eye. She tried to cover it up with makeup but he still saw it. He pushed her sleeve up and he noticed more. He was so angry. He told her that if she ever needed help he would be there. She was married to David who was a cop so she didn’t think anyone would help her. He blamed her for a lot of things but not getting pregnant was the big one. She ended up getting pregnant so she thought he would stop hurting her after her son was born but it only got worse. He had cameras all around the house to watch her. One day she had enough so she called the number and left the message with the word she was told to say. A few weeks later she got a message with a link and she thought it was spam but she clicked it anyway. It turned out it wasn’t a spam message. One day she had enough after he hurt her in multiple ways and she had her son in her arms. She ended up taking matters into her own hands. A lot happened quickly after that. She ended up eventually going to mount grove but still kept to herself. Until one day she met Carlos and that was the start of something between them. This is part one and part two is available now.

This riveting book had my full attention, tugged on my heartstrings and left me feeling hopeful, but also anxious to know what happens next. I can’t wait to read the next two parts of this trilogy. I highly recommend this book, and know it will be the same for the others.

Carlos: Trilogy: Part One is the first book in this trilogy connected to the Via Daemonia Motorcycle Club Series.
Carlos is such a sweetheart. He was caring and kind, but he had a moral compass which he struggled to maintain. He believed there was right and wrong which was why he joined law enforcement, but sometimes he wants to unleash this dark part of himself to do morally bad things. This is in conflict with his career choice and he struggles with this, which causes some of his personal relationship to become damaged.
Zoe is hiding from her secretive past. Not many people know the circumstances which lead her to being here. She is hiding and afraid to start a relationship with Carlos. But he is such a charmer that she can't resist. She was a very brave character and she found a lot of courage by sharing her secret with some people in the hopes of receiving help from her troubles.
As this is the first book of the trilogy, I know we are just getting started with their story. But from what I see, they are starting to make a solid foundation and will be there for each other in any way needed. Carlos will have to make some powerful choices which could impact his future, hopefully for the better.

We first met Zoe and her son in Bear's book. But we don’t get to know the backstory so that right there gives her an air of mystery. Here in part one of the Carlos trilogy we get the backstory. And let me tell you, not the backstory I was expecting!
Due to past events, which I don’t want to give away if you haven’t read the books yet, Carlos has been wrestling with some demons. This has put him at odds with the MC and he’s been trying to distance himself. Even though he didn’t know a lot about Zoe he’s been drawn to her, since first being introduced. But he doesn't have a chance to get close to her. Recently though after a very uncomfortable encounter with Zoe, he can’t resist her anymore.
Even though Zoe is wary, due to her past history, she still takes a chance on Carlos and the happiness that she deserves.
Once again, Elise has created two characters and a love that you want to root for. I can’t wait to see where she takes their love story in part two.

Fortunately, Carlos is a smart man that knows things are not always black and white and what he and Zoe may have is worth any risk.
Zoe tries to stay away from Carlos as long as she can, but they can’t deny the attraction and they know there could have so much more. He breaks down her walls and it’s is so so good!

Carlos and Zoe
I really enjoyed this book one of the trilogy for Carlos and Zoe's story.
It's well written and the story line just flows, and keeps you turning the pages wanting more.
Zoe didn't have a good marriage 😕, but she did have connections that were there for her, that she was unaware of until that time came.
I think Carlos is waking up to understanding that some things that happen in life, are not always black and white, but their are some gray areas that come into play.
Highly recommend and looking forward to book two 😀!

This is the first novella in the Carlos trilogy. Carlos is a deputy for the police force but he’s alone. Watching his brother find love and everyone else around him leaves him wanting more. Enters Zoe.
Zoe is on the run with her little boy and is in need of someone to keep her safe. I love how patient Carlos is with Zoe and their character development is amazing.
I can’t wait to read the second Novella!!

Holy smokes, what a flipping trilogy.
This couple definitely had my full attention. I couldn't wait to see what was in store for these two and how it was all going to play out, so I ran through all three books at once.
All 3 books are short, sweet and super spicy, fast paced, heartwarming and pulls on your heartstrings. Great characters, storyline and plot. Action packed and super addictive.
Highly recommend.

This is part 1 of the Carlos trilogy, book 4.5 in the Via Daemonia MC series. This is Deputy Sheriff Carlos Santiago's intense, compelling story. It's a great, fast-paced, quick read that keeps you on your toes. There's a new Sheriff in town and he's ready to get down to business! I can't wait for part 2 of Carlos and Clara's story!

A Must Read!
This quick read had me captured from the first page. I wasn’t expecting the answers that came with it in this book because Carlos isn’t really directly in the MC. This book was heartbreaking at times to read as we learned about Zoe’s story. I can’t wait to see how the rest of this story rolls out over the next 2 books.

Even though he's not an official VDMC member, Carlos does have an integral role and im jappy to see the atart of his story here in part one of the trilogy. Deputy Sheriff Carlos has a hard time with the gray areas of his job that cross those of the VDMC. He tries to stay on the right side of the law, but he does have a darkness, a monster inside that fights to come out.
"Carla" and her son, "Kyle" arrive unexpectedly to the clubhouse of his brother, Bulldog, and the VDMC. Carlos knows there's more to her story, but is really prepared for the harsh reality and the ramifications if her whereabouts are leaked? I can't wait to start part two and find out what happens next.

This is part one of Carlos and Zoe's story. Carlos is struggling with the law and his morals when he meets Zoe. I really enjoyed this first book of three. It was short but packed quite a punch. Cannot wait for book 2.

Wow, this was short, but not the end to their story. Yes this is a cliffhanger, but the the second book to their story will be out soon. Zoe (Clara) and her son are on the run for their life. Can't wait for the next book.

That was different
That was different and totally unexpected. The story wasn’t unfamiliar, so many of the ladies have had dangerous pasts and Zoes past was particularly violent. But Carlos is protective like his brother. Every time I read about Conner I tear up. I miss him.

Elise Gedicke once again wrote an amazing story! Carlos finally becomes Sherriff! Zoe aka Clara finally gets out of her bubble and starts to experience life again! Can't wait for Part 2&3!

Holy hell what a book it was full of hot spicy scenes and lots of action
At long last there going to take Payne down they have all come together to form a great army they have trained so hard there just waiting for the best time to strike
Honestly this book was amazing from start to finish o was hooked I can’t wait for book 2

Fantastic part 1 of Carlos’ story that is entertaining, secrets, wonderful characters, wrong and right side of the law! Carlos is the Sheriff that is a sweetheart towards Zoe the single mom! Enjoyed reading! A must read!

This was a slow burn start to the relationship between Carlos and Zoe but boy were there some fireworks at the end!!!! It was really an instalove situation for them but Carlos is so sweet and he is finally showing his “burn the world to the ground” colors for Zoe. On to Part 2 of the trilogy!
