If I say power electronics is used in all every day electric devices, but will die soon... I might torture the reputation of some people who come to conferences with big names and thousands of citations in their google scholar. I do not mind!

Anyway, as far as I know, electric drives have become limited to some very highly efficient motors and if the switching scheme can be done in software... we should say goodbye to this field. And, really let's say goodbye!

The book is just good for undergrads provided that the instructor really cares to give simulation projects or even hardware testing exercises. Studying theoretical PE is a total mind abuse.

P.S. This book has lots of mistakes both in the text and in the formulas.
