Forever Wild is the perfect conclusion to the Wildcat Hockey series. I love everything Rebecca Jenshak writes but this one is top notch for me, there is everything spiciness, humour and emotions.
This is the story of the Wildcat's captain and one of his teammate's younger sister.
Between Jack and Everly there is an important age gap, but it didn't feel it because they are mature, sensible, and also stubborn, and they share esteem, admiration, and respect for each other. They are lovely together, and also their banters are endearing. I adored the chemistry and friction between them.
I loved to see Everly bulldozing into Jack's Summer, breaking havoc into his life. She didn't let him be grumpy and wallow in self pity, so while he worked to regain your strength, their relationship bloomed, becaming something more than brotherly affection.
It was also nice to meet again so many familiar characters and see how their lives are going.
I hope I conveyed all my excitement for this book into this few lines, even if I'm sure I didn't make it justice. It was fantastic. I read it in one day, I couldn't turn the pages fast enough.
I highly recommend to read it and the whole series. You know what? I'm gonna reread it too.
