Ryva'lith is usually cautious. She lives life in the slow lane and doesn't take risks. Until she meets a lone soldier who turns out to be a fugitive. She follows him into a world of danger and excitement, all the while trying to work out who he is and why he is running. The further she follows him, the further out of her depth she becomes, eventually realising that she must change or she will die. And when the soldier deserts her, she wonders whether she can really trust him or if she was just a pawn in his game.
Hi! I'm Jo and I love writing! Since I love writing so much, I should probably write some more about myself.
I've been writing for as long as I can remember and probably long before that. I wrote my first novel when I was thirteen (it was about vampyres and werewolves and it was a bit crap). I remember going into school every day and telling my friends at lunch what I'd been writing the night before. And when I went home, I'd carry on until, eventually, it ended. A year or so later, I wrote my first proper short story, which was the basis for Fallen Angels. I showed it to a couple of friends and they loved it and wanted me to do another. I showed it to one of my English teachers, but it was actually a PE teacher who gave me the push to write it as another novel. I'm still really proud of it, but I can't bear to look back at the prose for fear of hating it!
