I've learned being a stepmom that no one is born knowing how to be a parent and we should get all of the help made available. This is one of the best books I've read because it is based on Godly principles that work because I've actually tried them. Another book to checkup is Boundaries with Children.

One explained the importance of parenting, and the other explained the practical guide in the parenting, including handling teenagers. Basically this one is like any other psychology books, but with a study guide.

Sound Parental Teaching

The instructions were great and made you think about how you were taught and how you would like to teach your children.
