This book surpassed my expectations with its compelling storytelling and captivating characters. The connection between Annika and Shep is profound, and their journey of love, trust, and new experiences is beautifully portrayed. Noir's writing is exceptional, making this book a must-read for fans of romance and exploration. I highly recommend diving into this engaging and entertaining novella. Lastly, I only wish that it was a bit longer :)

They Keep Getting Better
WOW! I need a cigarette, and I don’t even smoke!!
I was waiting to read The Guest, as I was still under the impression The Club would be released today, Oct. 10. Ah well, the extension will do me good.
Following the two-part novella “The Test”, this was a simply excellent installment of Minx’s series with Cillian and Annika. My wife and I, both can relate to this couple as we have experienced much of the same revelations in our marriage.
Please let me explain. We did not take a “test” as they did. I am currently a military historian as well as retired military. My two professions, at heart, have been about war and death. During the pandemic I got tired of reading military books and she convinced me to try romance. One book and I was hooked. (Donna Alam’s “No Perfect Gentleman”.) A few hundred romance books later and I was also a fan of those with a bit more “kink.” Not too very long ago we compared notes and found a lot of common ground.
We too have invited the “guest” into our intimate world and with much the same results as the main characters in this novella.
“Love Me Like You Do” and “The Vows We Made” should be required reading for couples married over twenty years. We are at forty-four and counting. Minx is right on the money with our feelings and even what we are experiencing.
Way to go, Minx, I can’t wait for “The Club.”

Another banger in this series. I love how utterly in love the characters are with each other. Both acknowledging their role in needing to reconnect. But also they are so relatable. Minx Noir does it again!
