Being a warrior for the King’s Guard, I’d been trained to handle the most lethal situations. But after waking up and realizing there’s only five days left before the Snow Moon, I tasked myself with a mission which could truly end me—gifting my mate with a present for Flaik Luna.
Other than a couple of rounds with an evil being, what do you buy a Fire Caster who wants for nothing but happiness?
With help from some friends, the Snow Moon festival of Love will either be a success or a disaster.
Beneath the Wisteria is a short story related to the Primordial Gods series. It should be read after Book 2 (Emerald Skies) and before Book 3 (Silver Storms) for best reading experience. The Primordial Realm is set in a fantasy world filled with Magic Casters, Angels, Vampires, Lycans, Fae, Demons, Elven, and Mythical Creatures.

Dreaming of becoming a vampire, I mean author, since she was a youngling, P.S. Nail finally fulfilled her prophecy by self-publishing her first paranormal fantasy romance novel, with many more to come.
She enjoys playing guitar to soothe the draw of the moon, video games to help pacify her blood lust, reading romance and smut books, since she never sleeps, and having a fangtastic time with paranormal friends. Once a month, when the full moon calls, she and her coven dance naked around a magical blazing fire . . . but don’t tell her we told you.
We think she currently lives in the United States, or possibly Romania, with her shifter husband, three hybrid sons, and their pet demons. She lovingly calls them her immortal family.
She will continue to quench her thirst for writing until death, dismissal, or dishonor.
Excuse me miss PS Nail...who gave you permission to write a book that draws you in and then just leaves you under the trees. Like WHERE IS THE REST OF THE BOOK. I am so invested in the lives of the royal guard that reading this seemed like a tease because before I knew it, it was over and I was not ready. The characters manage to suck you in with their personalities rhat it is hard to remember they aren't real and you're never going to see them walking around shirtless or buying up whole markets. The friendships between all of the characters are the sort-of friendships you'd hope to have in real, the teasing and banter and the brutal truth. Happily I now know how to best get someone to drop their mental shields if I ever need to 😏😏.
This is a novelette in the series of Primordial Gods books designed to be read as book 2.5 in the series so after book 2 (Emerald skies) and before book 3 (silver storms) for best reading experience. It’s a quick read at 75pages/12k words but a great addition to the story telling of this world. It was fun to see Val who is normally so stoic getting so anxious about making everything right for Ember who he loves with the kind of love we all aspire to. His attempts at subterfuge were funny especially Ember and the portals. His final gifts for the group and Ember did make a few tears fall, what a fabulous idea and so thoughtful and heartfelt. A pleasure to read and excellent as I’ve come to expect from PS Nail.
This was very short it has six chapters but from the beginning of draw you in they are part of the book that has comedy and between the characters. There are some hot scenes it keeps you interested like I said it was a short read and I read it from the beginning to the end. I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it. It is a page, and I think this is going to be a very interesting author for me to read and for anybody I’m new to her books. I’ve read some recently but definitely something that I would recommend to anybody who wants to read it. Thanks for the great story.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Oh my goodness, this one was an amazing read!! It’s in the MMC’s POV, and it is so freaking cute!! It’s book 2.5 so don’t forget to read the first 2!! Valarian ends up in a predicament and needs to find his bondmate a gift for Flaik Luna!! It takes some time, but he eventually achieves his mission!! Some laughs, some spice, a good cry, and everything nice, this one is a must read!!
Of course, don’t forget to read your trigger warnings, and have a fangtastic day!!
This is a shorter story in the same universe as Promordial Gods series. The author recommended it read after book 2 and before book 3, but it's not a hard MUST! PLease check any and all warnings!
This was such a cute story, honestly. It took maybe 2ish hours to read (I may or may not of re-read it) I can really relate to wanting to give the PERFECT gift. As always, the spice is *chef's kiss* this author NEVER misses with the toe-curling sexiness!
If you didn’t love Val after reading book one you’ll definitely love him now. It’s winter for the lands of the primordial gods; with means it’s time for Flaik Luna, a celebration in remembrance of a Lycan love story standing for Snow Moon. We get to follow Valerian as he tries to find the perfect gifts for Ember but also the rest of the guard. Definitely get you in your feels.
This book was a really nice refreshing read. The authors writing is quite incredible. With a story as short as this one, you could distinctively tell the difference between the characters. The descriptions used made it incredibly easy to imagine the personalities of each character. That bit of magic is what made this story a joy to read.
I absolutely loved this short little read. I cannot wait for more. I love all the characters in this series and as much as I’m ready to read their books, I was glad to have just a happy little moment of Val and Ember’s life. This made me giggle and even cry a little.
I loved being able to get another story with Val and Ember. It says a lot when a short story can make you laugh and cry in such a short amount of time. The journey of finding the perfect gift left me wanting for more. I'm looking forward to more of their world.
Val is seriously the best mate!! He worries so much for Ember and her happiness. The lengths he goes to in order to find a perfect gift for her and all of his friends for a special day is adorable, funny and heartwarming.
This book is a great way to get a little more fun and whimsy out of Castleva Manor. The holiday of love celebration is beautiful and I enjoyed getting a little glimpse into the fun side of the characters in this book. Well done PS Nail!
I love it!!! ❤️ They catch me from the beginning. I love the story, I love Val ❤️ And I love the friendship between the characters, It is so beautiful. A friendship that we love to have forever. Is a must read 📚 I need to read more
....Omg omg omg my heart. I am so happy to be brought back into this world with this quick novelette and get to spend a moment with my favorite vampire and favorite fire caster. I enjoyed getting the opportunity to read this and see these characters again.
Never ever disappointed by a ps nail book! Make sure to read violet flames first and then this book! Heck might as well read everything ps nail. You’ll be addicted left wanting more by your new favorite author!
I am OBSESSED with the series and was so happy to see a sweet little novella to add to the romance of Val and Ember! They’re my fav characters of the series so this hit the spot!
Short and sweet with a touch of need more to read! Ma’am we need more to this! I hope the next installment is coming soon. Her writing draws you in and takes you to places only seen in your dreams.
This novella has characters from both books of the series!
It was so nice to read and get more insight about them all during the guards holiday of love & devotion! The thoughtfulness that was put into each gift was just chefs kiss!
A nice short story set in the Primordial God's series. It's been some time since I read the first 2 in the series, but I remembered why I loved the characters so much. Short and sweet, and spicy 😋
This is book 2.5 meant to be read after books 1 & 2. It’s a small novelette but what a sweet wonderful story. Definitely a feel good book. I love all of Peggy Sues books. Violet Flames and Emerald Skies are the first two books in the series and I am anxiously waiting for book 3, Silver Storms. There are angels, demon, vampires- all the good stuff. The Snow Moon Festival of Love is coming and he must buy a present for his mate. To do this he goes down many paths before he comes to the realization what the perfect gift is. Loved it!
