9 books of this? Really?
There were a few things I liked such as the heroine being rich and sexually experienced too, but it was kind of boring how alike the hero and heroine were. The only difference is, is that she doesn't publicize her sexual relationships. Other than that, I had issues with her and how cold she was. I think the author tried to make her act too much like a man, and it was just weird. Like she only wants people to call her by her last name, including the hero, and then she wants the hero to call her Boss Lady when together? Tf? She was definitely OTT.
There were also some other editing issues I had. A lot of sentences that weren't in the right structural order and I had to reread them a couple times to see what the author meant. Or the wrong words were used in a sentence. Really weird. Also, everyone I'm this is way too young and attractive to be as rich as they are that it's just super unbelievable.
Overall, very eh. I wish the hero was less manhoe-ish, and I wish the heroine wasn't so OTT. The story definitely dragged on and this book sort of felt pointless besides the first meeting, so I already know how the next books are gonna go😬

Ow drama- hero is at a club a few times and women touch him and he let's them (not sexually). Hero also takes a woman to an event. Hero is a big hoe, but he doesn't sleep with anyone else during the duration of the book, although we get a decent amount of details of his sex life.
Om drama- there is a guy who everyone thinks she's in a relationship with and she attend events with, but it is unclear of her past with him. Om the heroine previously has hooked up with appears too at one of the events.

Gros gros coup de coeur pour cette romance. J'ai adoré tous les personnages même si le tout est un peu trop parfait.

New author in my list. When I picked up this book I was looking specifically for strong smart intelligent heroine. Well this book delivered and much more. I'm surprised with everything about this book. Tatum Titan vs Diesel Hunt. Both H/h are billionaires working their own company from ground up. Rival in every way, full of mysteries and when they finally get together, its hot people!! On to book 2.

I opted for the audiobook because I am in love with Michael Ferraiulo's voice. The timber of his voice, the perfect amount of emotion in his tone....EPIC narrator!
Tatum is an alpha female. She is the richest woman in the world. Number 11 on the Forbes list of richest people in the world. She doesn't need anything or anyone. Except Diesel Hunt. Diesel is a multi-billionaire who owns Manhattan. He is a true ALPHA. The two strong business savvy alphas have chemistry like you wouldn't believe. They are both in denial. As a front seat rider with an excellent seat to witness the fireworks, it is something to behold!
I don't quite understand where the story or the couple are going at this point. This story should be perceived as a "get to know you" installment. Imperative but nothing that really pop. Well nothing except their bed play! Super hot!
I'm not a fan of alpha women but I am curious enough to continue with the story to find out what's going on with Tatum and Diesel.

Titan and Hunt will absolutely transfix, positively inflame, and successfully entrance you. Tatum Titan is the epitome of high power and class. With her gender stacked against her, she has built her name and empire to be respected and revered. She has gotten where she is by making few compromises and sticking to her guns, but Diesel Hunt throws a wrench into her carefully crafted system. Hunt has grown weary of the billionaire lifestyle and the ease of which things are handed to him on a silver platter. In business, with woman, and all other spheres - life has lost its edge to keep him engaged. When Titan rejects his business proposal and then him so handily, the feisty woman awakes him with her zeal and fervor. Not used to hearing no, he finds he especially doesn't like it coming from her lush lips. Titan has made it clear that when it comes her tastes she will not bow and expects him to come to grips and submit.

I love Victoria Quinn's writing and this book didn't disappoint. The 4 stars are because of her writing style.
The characters are two strongheaded billionaires who want each other, both dominant, but none want to give up.
The hero is my favorite character. A perfect alpha and of course passed all the test the heroine put him through.
I couldn't connect with the heroine on the other other hand.
She was too cold for my liking, an iceberg is an understatement to describe her.
Except for the great sex, I don't understand the hero's fascination with her. What I didn't like is that he was the one doing all the chasing until one time when she chased him.
I really hated the way she treated him.I hated her in the last chapters. Period.
I hope she changes in the next book, because otherwise I doubt I would enjoy the story.

This book was so good I could not put it down!! I absolutely love that their is a book with a powerful female lead being a dominant!! Hunt and Titan’s story was so hot. I’m really sad to have to wait to continue their story.

Si bien me había aburrido de leer eróticas, esta tiene un punto original:
La protagonista, Tatum Titan, es una millonaria atractiva, hecha a sí misma, dueña de innumerables empresa pero bastante solitaria. El s.e.x.o. para ella tiene sólo dos opciones: relaciones casuales de una noche y si te he visto no me acuerdo, o una relación más permanente y monógama (aunque tampoco muy prolongada en el tiempo) en la que ella cumple con su fetiche: ser Dómina o Ama, como quieran llamarlo, de un esclavo o sumiso.
Y todo en el máximo secreto y reserva.
Diesel es un millonario poderoso, atractivo, que tiene todas las mujeres que quiere y que, aunque es apasionado, sus relaciones sexuales son normales. Por lo menos sin fetiches.
Cuando Diesel la conoce, lo único que quiere es meterse en su cama. Y lo logra. Pero si quiere seguir viéndola, tiene que aceptar el siguiente paso: ser su esclavo.
Y bueno, toda la novela es las idas y vueltas se saber si acepta o no, llena de polvos y polvetes apasionados y secretos.
Ya se verá cómo sigue la cosa en el segundo volumen: Boss Man.
Estuvo entretenido y aunque no es precisamente una novela Inspiracional, sin duda inspira bastante.
Lo único reflexivo importante que tiene la historia es que muestra la diferente vara con que se mide la conducta sexual de hombres y mujeres, aun en el siglo 21: mientras Diesel por ser un mujeriego que aparece en las revistas rodeado de bellas modelos, es un ganador, Tatum, aunque muy activa sexualmente, tiene que ser sumamente reservada en eso para, digamos, "no perder el estilo" (palabras de Diesel).
Pero hay cosas que no me cuadraron: creía que cuando una persona tenía un fetiche, lo necesitaba sí o sí para disfrutar. Y esta chica tiene un montón de s.e.x.o. sin necesidad de ser Ama y disfruta igual. En fin.
Por otra parte, no me pareció necesario que ambos sean "tan" millonarios al punto de figurar en la la lista Forbes dentro de los primeros 11 puestos. Por su conducta y aspecto, treintañeros, bellos, ambiciosos, físicamente perfectos, estarían mejor como altos ejecutivos con unos pocos millones en el banco. Como que es demasiado y un poco chocante.
Me fijé en la lista Forbes (los más ricos del mundo) y el único que baja de los 60 años es Mark Zuckerberg (dueño Facebook) y muy bonito, no es.
Quizá las escenas eróticas sean demasiadas. Seguro que cuando lea el segundo libro voy a pensar que con un sólo volumen hubiera bastado.
Ah, parece que ambos tienen traumas del pasado, pero en este volumen, ni noticias.

After reading 10 books from Victoria Quinn, I think it's safe to say I understand what I sign up for when I pick up one of her novels. She is detailed to the point of repetition. We are going to get a room, situation or scene from two different POVs, back to back, if she feels like it matters.
It always feels like you are reading a script and not a novel. Boss Lady was no different.
Due to my experience with this author, I knew not to hang too much of my hopes on anything concrete in book one of this series and I was right. What felt like a week was probably two months of a strong push and pull between two people who in the end want the same thing but are choosing different paths.
Now, this can annoy someone who is used to getting their story within one to two books. However, it seems Tatum (I will not call her Titan) has a whole chest of skeletons to empty and knowing this author, we might not get to that until six books in.
As for Diesel, I love the man! He is open and honest with just the right amount of arrogance. It is easy for you to dislike Tatum because this is THE man so... What is her problem?
There are many things to unpack between them and the relationships in their lives. More Tatum than Diesel.
The sex was okay. I am glad it wasn't overtly BDSM because I was expecting a next red room business but so far, they aren't doing anything we aren't doing in our bedrooms.
I am patient because I understand the author but this is a marathon and if you aren't in it for the long-haul, then I can see you tapping out. So far, I just want to know what happens next and how the relationship will change once it goes public.

This was GREAT! I will admit that I only tried it because I was skeptical as to whether I would like it at all. From the cover alone I had in mind and even WORSE version of FSOG but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this.
I listened to this installment (part of a 9 book series) through Audible and this was the first erotic romance I've ever listened to. Wow, what a unique experience THAT was. I will admit that the first couple of sex scenes made me a bit squirmy with discomfort. I don't have a problem READING such explicit scenes but having them READ TO ME was a whole new level of awkward...at least at first.
Now, one may question why it took me so long to finish this book if I enjoyed it and to that I'll answer because I've spent the last 2 weeks living with my parents, taking care of them while my father recuperated from major surgery. Being that my parents are older, southern, religious, and ridiculously conservative, I didn't think they'd appreciate their baby girl listening to a "dirty book" in the house. I reserved my listening to when I was running errands around town for them and finally finished up on the 3-hour trip back to my house now that Daddy is on the mend:)
I have to say I loved the audio aspect of the rest of the book. I really liked the voice actors who read for Titan and Hunt and I'm sure that I will imagine their voices as I read the rest of the series (since I'm a little too cheap to buy the entire series on audible, lol).
Great start to the series, can't wait to see Titan and Hunt both brought to their knees by love.

YASsss!!! We finally get a female version of Christian Grey and I'm loving it. It's still to soon to know if Tatum is 50 shades of screwed up since there hasn't been much mention of her childhood. So I'm looking forward to knowing more of her back story. Diesel Hunt is the epitome of a alpha male so when his world collide with Tatum Titan sparks flies like you wouldn't believe. I loved being front and center to witness the fireworks and the chemistry between these two. Overall enjoyable and entertaining read. I'm super happy that we finally get a HBIC and can't wait to see what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

This book is a must read. FINALLY, we have a woman who is strong and successful. she thinks like a man. Tatum Titian makes Diesel Hunt chase her. Don't get it twisted Diesel Hunt is ALL man! They are two alpha's fighting for power. I Love seeing a woman with so much power. I Love that the author did not water down Diesel's dominant personality to accommodate Tatums personality. The author goes straight to the point with each chapter. She doesn't try to write two whole pages on the characters feelings to lengthen the book. I can't wait for the next book.

Esta saga me gustó mucho, la recomiendo si te interesa mucho lo romántico más tipo erotica (mucho en realidad😅) pero es muy fácil de leer y cada libro te lo puedes leer en un día, aunque confieso que ya voy por el 6 y me estoy aburrieron un poquito.

Maravilloso, personalidades muy fuertes y que no dan su brazo a torcer fácilmente.
Lo que mas me gusto es su tira y afloja en cuanto a la "relación" que los dos se respetaban y escuchaban la otra parte.
Todavia queda mucho por conocer y descubrir, sobretodo se que todo no sera tan fácil de aqui en adelante

Ho iniziato a leggere questo libro e subito sono stata rapita dalla protagonista. Una donna tutta d'un pezzo. Una leader nel mondo degli affari, una donna che non ha paura di mostrarsi e di ottenere tutto ciò che vuole. Non si lascia avvicinare molto facilmente, ha il suo entourage che la segue ovunque e la protegge. La protagonista femminile che troverete qui non è la classica ragazza che ha bisogno di essere aiutata, o la sottomessa che si lascia far fare di tutto, anzi, tutt'altro. E' lei che detta le regole, o si fa come dice lei o non se ne fa niente.
Diesel Hunt, il protagonista maschile, è anche lui un uomo di successo, potente, bello, sexy e corteggiato. I due si assomigliano molto caratterialmente, due figure di spicco della New York che conta, e credetemi che quando si incontrano la carica sessuale che sprigionano è ai massimi livelli.
Hunt non accetta un "No" come risposta. Lui vuole tutto, vuole lei e farà di tutto per ottenerla, anche scendere a compromessi.
Se per alcuni versi il romanzo mi ha entusiasmato, per altri invece mi ha annoiata.
Gli incontri tra i due protagonisti è passione pura, l'autrice crea una grande alchimia e attrazione, ed è quasi tangibile il sentimento di attrazione che c'è tra loro, ma al tempo stesso trovo che si perda o cada nella retorica della frasi fatte, del tipo "Vieni solo quando te lo dico io!" per citarne una, o per quanto riguarda la descrizione dell'anatomia maschile descrivendolo come un uomo super dotato dalle prestazioni da guinness.
L'autrice tiene alta la curiosità perché in questo primo romanzo si ha solo un assaggio dei gusti particolari di Titan.
Si sa poco o niente sul suo passato e come detto sulle sue preferenze sessuali si ha solo un accenno, ed è praticamente quest'ultima informazione che fa da collante nella storia perché nonostante Diesel venga avvertito non lo intimorisce, anzi ne è attratto sempre di più.
Ma la sua anima da dominatore cercherà in tutti i modi di far scendere a compromessi la misteriosa donna che tanto lo ammalia.
Piegò la testa verso di me.
"Mi vuoi,Titan?"
Incontrai il suo sguardo, i miei capelli sciolti che mi accarezzavano la pelle. "Sì."
"Allora prendimi così come sono."
"Non faccio eccezioni per nessuno."
"Fanne una per me." Mosse le dita tra i miei capelli lisci, accarezzandomeli fino a toccare la spalla. "Lo sai che ogni volta che sarai con qualcun altro penserai solo a me. E vale lo stesso per me."
Lo stile della Quinn è fluido, i pov sono alternati e dunque è facile capire le dinamiche dei due personaggi.
Il genere BDSM viene solamente accennato, ma credo nei prossimi volumi sarà presente in maniera preponderante.
Nonostante alcuni tentennamenti,tra cui il fatto che la serie sarà costituita da ben 9 volumi la curiosità di continuare nella lettura è tanta quindi continuerò sperando che il brodo troppo allungato non ne rovini il sapore piccante della storia.
Intanto prepariamo che il 20 maggio uscirà il secondo volume.
Vediamo cosa ci sarà in serbo per questa coppia molto bollente.

While i wait for the next installments of a few things, i figured i’d check this one out since it came up as something that others who read the Lingerie series would like. I’m not sure that I like it as much yet since there are so many secrets that are being teased yet not revealed, but on the flip side, the heat and passion and kink in this story take things up a notch that it’s hot in a way that the other author hasn’t gotten lately.
So in this first introduction to the series, we are met with Tatum Titan, our leading lady, a woman who created her empire from scratch from the age of 15 and has become the most powerful and wealthy woman in the world. She states her terms which are always met, both professionally and personally and that’s the way her world has run. She’s got a dark past that we don’t yet know the depth of, and we know that her friendships and relationships are tied to that, but that’s not really what takes us through this first book.
We also meet Hunt Deisel, our leading man who’s equally strong and powerful, and who always gets what he wants, until he meets Tatum. When he doesn’t get the answer that he wants on a business deal and digs deeper into the woman that Tatum is, we see that he’s not easily swayed, and his conquest changes.
The journey that we go on this first installment is one of negotiation, compromise and chemistry. They both want to live their lives separately and together on their terms but that’s not reality and they have to fight each other to get there. They’re also shrouded in a level of secrecy because of something that Tatum feels is necessary for her survival and we don’t quite get to the culmination of that agreement here.
Throughout this story though, while they fight each other every step of the way, without revealing too much about themselves in the process, we see walls come down, and at the same time, we see the most intense kink rise up. That’s her world, and not his, but a world that he’s completely open to since it has to do with her. There are secrets from their current friends, the business world, and secrets from their/her past that will never come to light that shapes the story as it has formed.
All in all, i’m intrigued, and truly drawn in, but i’m not quite sure what i’m being drawn in to. There’s the relationship between Tatum and Thorn that makes no sense to anyone since it appears that they’re together but both have admitted that they’re not what they seem. There are secrets there that we can’t yet know about and that’s what makes Hunt’s quest that much more impossible. I”m left shaking my head at so much that’s happened, and wondering if there’s any common ground that they can come to without sacrificing all that they’ve built separately. I guess that’ll come in book 2 and we’ll have more answers to what we’re wondering. So, on that note, i’ve just gotten book 2 and i’m off to see what happens.

This is one of the rare type of book which I personally want to read.
I want a FMC who is rich, famous and sexually secured in her life. And this book is totally that kind of book.
Most of the romance books that we read have a hero who's life is better than heroine. Like he will be richer than her, would have had better looks and even his sex life would be better than the FMC.
He would have had a great sex life and would be able to satisfy all his sexual partners with his huge d*ck. But the FMC? She'd be financially struggling and/or have a boring sex life and would've had maybe one and a half partners and sometimes she'd be the INNOCENT VIRGIN. Oh god i just hate those tropes.!
And i also hate the portrayal of "WORKAHOLIC" FMC in the romance books. Coz she would either be a bitch and the hero would constantly try to change her attitude towards life which i find totally stupid.
Anyway coming back to our book
This is the first book of a 9 book series which j personally think is a lot for one story to continue.
But as far as the first book is concerned i totally loved it.
Diesal Hunt(H) is a 35 year old billionaire who is handsome and successful and has done it all there's to do to have fun in life. He is a no relationship kind of guy. But then he meets 30 year old Tatum Titan (h) who is also a billionaire and has a thriving business which she has built from ground up. Hunt knows what he wants and is not afraid to go after it. He is arrogant but not vain and he respects Titan even before getting involved with her. He appreciates her to be able to afford good things in life and never considers himself better than her. He is a good feminist!
I totally LOVED Titan! She's a no nonsense kind of woman and totally knows what she wants in life. And what i love about her that despite being a workaholic she has good friends and is not dependent on Hunt to show her a good time. She also has a rich Sex life with many ONS and also specific arrangements with guys with whom she can enjoy her preferred lifestyle.
Many people might find her too "manly" but honestly her feminine badass behaviour is my selling point
This novel is light BDSM and the sex scenes are never boring.
Anyway there is a lot left to explore about their relationship in next novels but i am hoping for the best 🥰

review for all 9 books
Ok, the first couple were pretty good and you definitely get hooked after the first book…into the third book and even some of the second, everything really starts to become repetitive. It is extremely annoying when I find that I start skipping so much of the book it repeats the same things. By the time you hit book 6, things start to contradict each other. Like conversations were forgotten and the characters would have the conversation again like never did before and they would sometimes have different opinions. Then you start getting other characters stories and others points of views rather than just Hunt and Titans POV. Then, characters just seemed to disappear from the story. Those weren’t the only things that bother me though….these people are obsessed about not eating and they drink a lot. They start drinking at 9 am and don’t eat because the alcohol has too many calories. They obsess about their bodies and the author makes talks about it all like it is healthy and ok to malnourished as long as you have a thin sexy body. I was extremely disappointed with this.
What I did like about this series is that the characters are strong. Diesel is possessive ant Titan let’s him take care of her while still being strong and independent. They were both very forgiving people and they had a lot of love in their hearts. They sacrificed for one another without giving up who they were. They hot steamy scenes too.
All in all, if you have to pay for the books because you don’t have don’t have kindle unlimited, I don’t recommend….this really could have been broken into like 3 books and you are paying for rereading the same things over and over. If you do have kindle unlimited and it’s free, I recommend, you can skim through. Rated at 2.5 stars.

I'm honestly confused how this book has such high stars when you look at the reviews most of them are negatives but with high stars? Wtf is that about? This book... I really don't know what to say about it except I skimmed slot of it. There were so many sex scenes and barely anything to the actual story. I also had high hopes with the Fmc cause she seemed strong but when you get into the thick of it she caved almost immediately but also makes it seem like she has so many secrets and you could guess why she is behaving as she is. Then there's the dude. I don't like him at all. He's a bulldozer. She set limits and lines and he tears them down because well he giving her concessions and she wants him so why shouldn't she just get over her set boundaries and accommodate him? Even though he pressured her and stalked her till the point she just keeps giving in. Yes their chemistry was off the charts but there's so much wrong with what's going on that I couldn't even write it descriptively if I wasn't to. It really only got 2 stars because of the mysterious secret that I wish to find out that I'm never going to get. If the book wasn't so horrid I would keep going but I can't force myself to deal with nine books of this garbage. Hopefully so!some puts out a spoiler since I could guess some of the big secrets but I wouldn't mind having a summary of it all and not have to deal with the fluff.

FIFTY SHADES OF GREY...but the tables are flipped, the roles are reversed
I am surprised to read an adult novel with a woman who is as powerful as the man. It's really rare especially when it comes to romance and sex novels. I am delighted that I stumbled upon this one.
Tatum Titan knows what she wants and everyone should respect that including Diesel-- the guy who never take no for an answer. So when the two meets, they are like different person crashing together with similar desires. Diesel thought he was just challenged by Titan when she turned down her proposal. He thought wrong. He wanted more from..of her the moment he laid his eyes on her. That is same with Titan but with different conditions...
And I like how honest and blatant she was when she asked him . I almost choked and laughed... Well, I actually did laugh.
I love their connection, their toxic, and lust for each other. They collided... perfectly.
As they said, if they happen to exist as two suns in the same galaxy, they are going to explode (figuratively and literally) *wink*
It's really just a fast read, no time to scrutinize the story (or their personalities). Just enjoy the ride *another wink*
