Sometimes I think writing makes me crazy, but then again I'd probably be even more crazy without it. There are a lot of things I do to balance out though: traveling, distance running, hiking, reading, orange juice, tennis, food fights, walking out of movie theaters telling the people in line that Harry Potter dies, cooking ethnic food, and competitive napping.
I can’t believe I ever read this trilogy even though I couldn’t even finish this third book. All of these books are silly but I still enjoyed the first two enough that I wanted to finish with the last in this series. However this last book is definitely the worst of the three and half way through I decided I can’t finish this. It’s so ultimately ridiculous that it’s just not even doable. It’s obviously made for young adults or kids I guess, even then I wouldn’t have enjoyed this series as a teenager. It’s truly that awful! None of it makes sense or is even remotely plausible and I can’t recommend anyone else to waste their time on it. One star
Now that I've read the trilogy, I think that this could've been 1 book vs 3. The storyline was so long and drawn out when it didn't have to be! And to label it a physiological thriller is a stretch lol
The first two were good, albeit a little far fetched. The third was horrendous. Even more far fetched than the first two, and the ending was so rushed, after everything else being drawn out.
The 3rd book was a PUSH! The first one was good enough to keep my attention, and the second one was also okay... this once was TOUGH to finish.. we probably could have stuck with 2..
This was the third book in the trilogy to close out the story for Emily Mark. In this final chapter, Emily sets out to find her parents and return the money to the people of bedrock. Love begins to blossom with miles. Friendship is forged between Emily and Taylor. And we learn if Margaret finally gets the chance she deserves or not.
The sole reason for this rating is because I like the way they tied it all together in the end, but that was pretty much it. Like it was great they closed the gap on her parents, her sister, starting their own scam company, the love story with miles and even Wesley etc. but at the same time it was all just a little too cheeky for me.
Overall, the series wasn’t bad, but I feel like it could’ve been a stand alone novel and was unnecessary to draw it out into a trilogy.

It was just OK. honestly not much girls time spent, more on the blah trying to have a romance thrown in. The 2nd book was probably the better of the 3. I couldn't stay interested in this one but I definitely had to finish the trilogy. The end also felt kind of rushed, like there was so much more focus on the island stuff that had nothing to do with having girls time. That was kind of just thrown in at the end like here ya go here's a little sprinkle.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books of this trilogy. However, the third book fell flat. Things were drawn out in the beginning and rushed to a finish. I would not categorize this book as psychological thriller.
Really good series. Emily Marks went through a lot of turmoil. Definitely kept you interested and hard to put down. Always wanting to know what was going to happen next.
These books kept me on the edge of my seat! I liked how it ended and it left me wanting another book in this series! Definitely recommend reading them!
Final review for this trilogy. Book 2 is by far the best. The writing isn’t the best but overall this was a mostly entertaining series. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone though.
