Better With You
Will two people from two different backgrounds come together to choose love or will their past dictate their future?
Nevaeh has always been the good girl; the go getter who knows exactly what she wants in life and in relationships. Relationship after relationship did nothing but take away her hopes of finding true love. She’s always been a great woman in relationships but the men that she encountered were the complete opposite. Red flags were shown in the beginning, but she always overlooked them. She found herself always giving, giving, giving and getting nothing in return but trips to the doctor. She gave up on love until meeting Brayden.
Brayden is a wealthy, handsome gym head, who spends most of his time traveling, working out and doing his passion; graphic design. Looks can be deceiving though because underneath all those looks, Brayden is falling apart. He’s a divorced dad, who is grieving and feeling guilty because of the death of his daughter. He can’t seem to find his way, but then he meets Nevaeh and it changes everything.
Nevaeh and Brayden both have a past and it keeps coming back to haunt them, but will they allow themselves to surpass their trauma and learn to love again, or will they jeopardize everything?

This book definitely will not disappoint. It’s definitely a page turner, I basically read this book in one day. I love reading books where I can actually see myself standing on the sidelines watching the story take place. It’s like having a front row seat.
Navaeh, is a strong young lady, who battles some obstacles in her past relationships. She gave up on love and somewhat closed her heart to love.Brayden is a strong young man who was battling grief. Who lost his daughter,but he was in a bad place in denial. But he was the opposite of Nevaeh. He was looking for his queen. He and Nevaeh lived in the same apartment complex and started seeing each other and because they both were in bad places their past always showed up somewhere along the line. That’s all y’all getting from, because I don’t want to give no spoilers. lol, but the actual book release is May 3rd. Be sure to get your copy, it won’t disappoint and let me know what you think about the books. Let’s chat about it. Your emotions will be tested on every level, so have your tissue ready. Page turner for sure.

I love how Nevaeh could hold her own but still be a soft woman with her man.Nevaeh did not play about her man because when she rolled up on Miss Lady I was like okayyyy she is not playing!
I also loved how well put together Nevaeh/Brayden were and their sense of fashion.

congratulations on writing your debut novel. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to release a book and thank you for giving a piece of your literary work for the world to see and read. Nevaeh, I’m just going to be honest, was a dingbat when it came to men. Her standards, were quite low, you really didn’t put herself in positions where she was in control of the situations. I’m not sure if Nevaeh would have realized her dating habits were piss -poor until, her friends with benefits, Jordan broke things off with her.
While Nevaeh was a complete hot mess, Brayden was a bit more level-headed and was much more maturer than his female counterpart. He wasn’t afraid to be vulnerable and shared many skeletons with Nevaeh. Nevaeh, on the other hand, didn’t really share too much of herself with Brayden and in many moments I felt as though she was showing signs she was not ready to be in a serious, committed relationship.
Once again, thank you, Tina Mechelle, for writing this story. I hope to read more you in the near future.

This was so strange. Braeden sorta frightened me the way he showed his “hood”side. Didn’t know how to look at him. Nevaeh🤔🤔. My jury is still out on her. Not sure where she fit in FRFR I am truly mad at where Kam ended up. Lots and lots of drama. Good story. Too much going on to keep up. Loose ends not tied up.

This is the first book where I might say that my response is meh. I didn't like it but I didn't dislike it I'm just indifferent about it.
