I'm sorry but even wattpad stories are written better than this.

The plot has literally no content in it. The FMC is written poorly, she's wanted to be portrayed as a strong, fierce, stubborn woman but never follows through it, she's always following whatever the other person wants. The MMC is so bland even couch cushions have a better personality than him.
The author has a good hand of writing but the story was just giving me whiplash and my eyes are sore from rolling them this often.

A brilliantly written mafia story that has loads of suspense, intrigue, thrills, action and as well as a steamy spicy romance that became a happily ever after ending. Fantastic characters will draw you into this page turner.
This mafia story delves into what happens after two mafia families worked together to start manufacturing drugs. The mafia don that the mafia enforcer works with gave money as well as built a warehouse to make the drugs in as well as got the equipment that they needed to make the drugs but the warehouse and the equipment was burnt to the ground. It happened because the mafia boss didn’t get the guards that were needed for the warehouse. This is the reason why the mafia boss is making an arranged marriage between his eldest daughter and the mafia enforcer.
The mafia enforcer took the eldest daughter to several places. The eldest daughter won several times at the underground casino while the mafia enforcer tended to business.. They went to a gala where men stormed in firing their guns into the crowd, the eldest daughter got her and her friend out and hidden until the mafia enforcer found them which he took them to their penthouse where a doctor was already there to tend to their injuries.
During the gunfire the eldest daughter’s friend’s mother got shot several times and died so they went to the service. They sat by her family and after her father wanted to speak to her privately. The mafia enforcer overheard some of the conversation which he took her away from her father vowing never to let him near her again without him being there.
During this time the mafia enforcer as well as the mafia don he worked for and several trusted men from the family were still trying to find out who was behind the warehouse fire. The eldest daughter was going with her guard and every once and a while with her sister and the mafia enforcer to an abandoned building to put on her Youtube channel. That is where the eldest daughter first spotted the weird symbol which she tried to look up on the internet with no avail.
The mafia enforcer knew that the eldest daughter was a virgin by the way she acted in their honeymoon suite after their wedding reception. The mafia enforcer decided that he would wait until she begged for him to have sex with her before he would do anything. After one of the times after they went to the underground gambling casino everything came to a head and that’s when they first had sex. The mafia enforcer had given her oral sex a couple of times but that was as far as it got. After that the couple had sex quite a bit. They even had sex behind the funhouse when they went to the carnival that was in town, he also won her a big octopus.
The couple even went to her family’s home for dinner several times. The mafia enforcer went into a study that had books in a foreign language in them as well as the symbol that both he and the eldest daughter found in one of the abandoned buildings they went to. Between going to her family’s home for dinner he also took her there when he couldn’t find a guard for her, he made sure that her father would be gone before he took her there. While there the eldest daughter got into it with her brother and when she ran to her old room she found the symbol that she was seeing at the abandoned building there as well, she talked to her sister before she went outside to get picked up by the mafia enforcer. The next time they were there for dinner the father and the brother cornered the mafia enforcer in the father’s office where they got him to say things he didn’t mean and when he opened the door the eldest daughter was there crying. They left and went back to the penthouse when they got into the penthouse she went straight to bed.
The next day she waited until the mafia enforcer left before she got dressed and looked up an abandoned warehouse that she was going to film, she got everything together before heading out with her guard to the warehouse once there it was no time before the guard was shot and her father and brother were behind her. They took her to an office where they started asking her questions. During this time the mafia enforcer came home to find the penthouse empty, he had a bad feeling and he found where the eldest daughter went which was a warehouse that they shot a bunch of Mexicans in when they were trying to find out who burnt down the warehouse that they had built. When he got there he found the three in a back room with the brother holding a gun at the eldest daughter. By the time it’s over with the brother has a gun wound in the hand as well as his knee, the father is dead and the couple has taken the guard to the doctor to be tended to. They tell one another that they love one another and he also tells her that he’s sorry for what he said before.
The couple found the answer to who burned down the warehouse and why they did it.
The couple went to have a real honeymoon in Greece. They get to their room where the couple goes onto the balcony where they dance and soon they fall to the floor. They tell each other that they love one another.

If the Author’s Notes hadn’t said it, I wouldn’t have guessed that this was a debut novel. It was very well written. The book was fast paced and never boring or overly predictable. I normally am not a fan of the slow burn, but I felt that it was completely appropriate here and in keeping with the characters. If I had any complaint at all, it would be that the villain reveal was a bit truncated; I felt like it needed a little more drama. I loved the urban exploration they did and it was a good way to weave the mysterious symbol into the story. This book was very good and I look forward to more from this author in the future.

Luciana becomes engaged to Emilio, a man known as the butcher, in exchange for her father's debts and giving her sister the freedom to pursue her talent and dreams. Emilio never thought he would be married but now he has Luciana, he had planned to keep her at arms length but soon he starts to want a real relationship, but with trouble looming will he be able to keep her safe? Engaging story, with lots of banter, violence, action, drama, steamy scenes, an age gap, arrainged marriage, romance. A good read that held my attention, a quick build up to their relationship, wish there could have been a bit more to some scenes like their first meet, but a great start for a new author. Can't wait for more.

Beauty and the Beast

I enjoyed this storyline because you don’t see many with the Enforcer in the arranged marriage. I loved the spirit that the FMC had even if it did cause her trouble now and then. Our MMC was very sweet and caring for her but would be whatever was needed at work. There are a few spelling mistakes but they are simple and didn’t distract me while reading. Overall a good story.

This is a well written action packed story, with emotions, family dynamics, an arranged marriage, collateral, sacrifices, an age gap, enemies / lovers, violence, drama, and love, which leads to an entertaining and spicy mafia romance.

I had high hopes for reading this book because I was in a little book slump. It started off pretty good, but then it the more I read, it started getting boring. I wasn't trying to read a mystery novel, so that just put me off of reading any further. Sorry but I couldn't finish.
