Helena Zelin was born in Athens in September ’98, where she has lived ever since. She studied at the University of West Attica, Department of Conservation of Antiquities and Works of Art, and World Literature at Harvard.
The love for literature seems to have always been there in her life and growing up she loved all kinds of art. She considers herself an artist, as she also likes to spend her time painting and singing. Some of the things she has tried and dabbled in, besides the book world, are acting, chess and programming, teaching English, painting and sometimes dancing.
At the age of thirteen she decided to try her hand at writing something of her own for the first time and to date has completed five novels. Part of her book ‘My Truth’ is hosted on the Moonlight Tales website. She has also participated in the ‘Custodians of Books’ website with her reviews and interviews with authors. She is also involved in promoting books on Instagram and YouTube. She opened her first blog in 2013 as a means of discussing her favourite books and in 2020 launched Writing Nook.gr, again as a blog for readers and writers, which she now runs as an indie publishing house. She is also an editor, formatter and translator.
