Tropes: 🫦 Biker/MC 🫦 Possessive Hero 🫦 Second Chance 🫦 Found family
Just finished the first novel of the Rebel Sons MC. The story was really emotional, mostly because of the experiences Sarah had to endure in her past. Jake is such a wonderful character, who is protective, caring and understanding as well as a dominant and a biker.
There were some twists in the plot I didn’t see coming, which made reading the book such an exciting experience. I really liked the side characters and I’m curious who will be the MCs in the second book of The Rebel Sons MC.
This book had the perfect mixture of suspense, spice and angst. If you are looking for a new series of bikers with high moral standards, this is the perfect book to start it.
The second book Vengeance will be released on May 31st 2024.
Quotes: "We ride together, we rise together, we die together. Sons for-ever.
He chuckles lowly, "want it bad, don't you baby? Be a good girl and I'll give you what you want."
The first of three books in this series and yes, they are all available 🥳
We follow the story of Sarah who is in a very abusive marriage, her husband is with the DEA but also has a secret. A pregnant Sarah manages to escape with the help of her sister-in-law. She ends up in a small town, meeting up with an old friend who is part of a MC club. Their story grows from here, until her husband finds her. There are secrets and betrayals revealed along the way that build into their lives.
Do read the trigger warnings. Took me a few chapters to get into the characters as it seemed to quite fast from one to another and the influx of new characters. Once there, the story unfolded, parts were predictable, the writing kept me reading and it flowed for me at a fast pace.
I really REALLY enjoyed this book and read it in a day. This is my first "romance" book. I have always been hesitant to try them as I felt they would bore me with how "fluffy they can be, but Retribution had me!! I loved the Sons and the whole feel of the book overall even though the first little bit of the book I wasn't sure I was vibing Gracies writing style, but as it went on, I felt her writing matured (or maybe I got used to it) I loved Jake and Sarah's story and I'm really looking forward to book 2, especially now I know whose story it is about !! I'm excited to see where Gracie takes this as I think the Sons are in for a hell of a fight, and I am excited to see how they tackle it!!
Retribution is the first book to the Rebel Sons MC Series and it starts with Sarah on the run from her abusive husband Michael. She lands in North Ridge, Montana where she runs into an old flame, Jake Riggs, who swears to keep them safe. But what lengths is Michael Moretti willing to go to? Can Jake and the club keep her and her unborn child safe? You'll have to read to find out.
This has all the wants. Second chances, insta love, spicy scenes, touch her and d!e, protective, plot twists, and the best one a bad boy biker who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Gracie did not disappoint. The emotions that I felt while reading this is otherworldly. It made me want to jump in and wrap my arms around Sarah to protect her. I am already onto book 2 and can't wait to see what it unfolds and see where it takes our biker family.
"Want it bad, don't you baby? Be a good girl and I’ll give you what you want."
"So... you call me daddy now, huh?"
"Gram, Cass, I need someone with a vagina to come in here and deal with this."
"I’m not gonna let anyone or anything touch you. You’ll always be safe with me.”
Sarah is running from her ex husband. With the help of her sister in law she escapes to a small town where she comes face to face with her first love who she's hasn't seen since 17 but never forgot. Jake has never forget Sarah and now he's found her again he isn't letting her go. Jake and his family the Rebel Sons protect Sarah as all costs when her ex comes for her. Jake and Sarah both had horrible childhoods but they have both found their home with each other and the Rebel Sons.
This remarkable man has awakened my damaged heart, coaxing me back to life. And I can't imagine anywhere I'd rather be than right here by his side
Wow what a debut this book was! It was heart-wrenching and suspenseful and full of twists I never saw coming. The romance was a large part of the storyline but I loved how there was a secondary plot with Sarah's escape from her abusive husband which was really refreshing.
Jake is the ultimate book boyfriend, his protective side was so sweet and finding out the reason why they are exes was so heartbreaking. Every single step of the way, I was left feeling unsure as to how everything would play out and it was one big amazing rollercoaster of a story!
Overall this was a great debut novel, I really liked it so much, and I cannot wait for the next book!
What To Expect: ⨳ MF Dark Romance ⨳ Motorcycle Club ⨳ Second Chance ⨳ Possessive Hero ⨳ Abuse (Not from MMC) ⨳ Suspense
I will love and protect that child no differently than I would if they were my own.
❤︎ ARC provided in exchange for an honest review ❤︎
It includes tropes such as: ~Found family ~Second chance ~Touch her and Die ~MC/Biker ~Toxic/Abusive relationship And more.
This book was definitely an emotional roller coaster. What Sarah endured starting at a young age was just awful. She was in the foster system so that alone can be a lot. However to top it off she thinks she is being saved and going to be finally taken care of when 18 approaches when she meets DEA Agent Michael Morreti. With his charming smile, laugh, and words. Little did she know she was so wrong. After years of Abuse physical and mental she becomes pregnant and she will do anything to save herself and her unborn baby. Even if that means to fake her own death. But that wasn't even enough. Until she meets her childhood lover Jake again and sparks were still ignited after all of those lost years.
The plot was great. The story was amazing. I fell in love completely with the Rebel Sons.

Sarah has been dealt a crap hand in life. Growing up was hard. Jake made it less so til he was no longer reachable. She marries a man she realized soon was a monster.
Her DEA agent husband Michael is the worst kind of man. Controlling and abusive. Her only friend is Anna, her sister-in-law. Anna has also been abused.
When Sarah realizes that she's pregnant she knows that she has to escape. Anna helps Sarah find somewhere safe. When Sarah gets there she finds her long-lost friend Jake. They quickly rekindle what they always imagined they could have been.
Of course, it couldn't be that easy! Michael is worse than they ever thought and he's found her. Set his sights on making her pay.
The twists and turns and emotional turmoil make this such a great book!! I was on the edge of my seat one moment, wiping tears another, and smiling while kicking my feet in the end. Absolutely worth the read!
Sarah is running for the abuse of one into the arms of someone she thought she lost a very long time ago. This story holds found family, touch her and 💀, very very possessive, but the sweetest love journey ever. Jake will to anything for Sarah and he does!
Let’s face it too, this is Gracie so the spice chef’s 💋
Can’t wait to read the next one in the Rebel Sons series.

I loved this book… reading about the rebel sons makes me want to go back and watch sons of anarchy all over again!! First off, I hated Michael. He’s such a POS. The way he manipulated and abused his wife Sarah was awful. And using his position of power as a (dirty) DEA agent, so gross. I felt so badly for her. And she finally tries to get away and guess what, he catches up to her. His letters made me literally anxious and gasp. I loved Sarah and I felt so many emotions for her in the span of this book, devastation, anxiety, hope, joy, shock, love. She was such a great and well rounded character. I also loved Jake. He’s such a solid person and lovely protector and the most welcomed blast from the past for Sarah ever. And his dominating bedroom behavior and dirty talk was just devourable and so hot. What I loved the most about this book wasn’t the plot or the character arcs or the banter or the spice, all of which were executed flawlessly. What I loved the most was the fact that the author spent so much time developing the supporting cast. I felt so attached to all of them and I don’t think I’ve ever read a non-romantasy book and known so many characters by name and traits and roles. The supporting cast development was everything. I’m so happy I picked this book up randomly on a whim and am going to dive head first into the next story and pray it’s Rex as the MMC lol. And if Marlene isn’t there I’ll throw fists because she was by far my absolute favorite supporting character in the book I loved her so much and I swear I read her lines in a different voice tone than everyone else. An amazing motorcycle club dark romance. Definitely recommend!
This story follows Sarah, a newly pregnant woman on the run from her abusive husband, and Jake, a childhood friend who reconnects with Sarah when she ends up in his town. Sarah and Jake blossom their feelings for each other while Jake also ensures he does everything in his power to keep Sarah’s husband and his crime mob family away from them and the rest of the families belonging to the motorcycle club started by Jake’s uncle. I LOVE Gracie’s writing. I had no trouble following along with all the side characters and I was always so excited to keep reading more. Sarah and Jake’s second chance romance hits you in the feels and gives REASONABLE expectations for how a man should welcome a child into their home even if it’s not theirs biologically. I read this in anticipation of being an arc reader for the third. This is the first in the Rebel MC series, and now I’m off to the second one!
Retribution is the first book in the Rebel Sons Series. When the book begins, Sarah is in a relationship that has left her scarred. Both physically and mentally. She is also harboring a secret that finally gives her the strength to seek help and break free of the bonds that have held her down for so long. While starting over, a blast from the past literally stomps back into her life. Jake now a member of a MC, is rough and tough, but is all pillow fluffy softness inside. At least for Sarah. I enjoyed watching their relationship rekindled and his acceptance of being anything she needed him to be. Friend, lover... He is one bad boy that is hard to resist. But her past doesn't stay buried for long, putting everyone in possible danger. There's a slow burn, but the spicy scenes are 🔥. There's are also supporting characters throughout like X and Mr. computer genius, that I would love to learn more about in future books. Overall, this was a suspenseful read full of peril, adventure and love and I ate up every second of it! Bravo Gracie! You killed it.👏 ❤️

Retribution was a quick, fun read that kept me on my toes throughout.
Right from the start, we're thrown into the action with Sarah trying to leave her abusive husband. She's helped by Anna, Michael's sister, to flee to Montana, where she runs into an old childhood friend, Jake.
The relationship between Sarah and Jake was sweet, a second chance romance that had my heart warmed.
The tension was built throughout, will Sarah's past catch up with her?
I loved learning about the Rebel Sons MC, I can't wait to read more about the other characters in future books. This was my first MC romance that I read and it won't be the last! Now I want to go and rewatch Sons of Anarchy!
Beaten and bruised by her DEA husband of 12 years, Sarah fakes her death to escape the abuse and save the life inside her. Her sister in law Anna, sends her to a small town in Montana where by some miracle she runs into her childhood bbf/crush. This is a fast paced suspenseful romance that had me so captivated I didn’t want it to end!
Gracie’s writing will grab you right from the start. Her descriptions had me dreaming about Montana and the way it felt like home to Sarah. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series and of course read more about those sexy bikers of Rebel Sons MC.
Omg this book was amazing all the emotions and such a real raw story. Loved the abuse and the way it was told. Loved the characters. Loved Jake would be the perfect man in the real world. 🥵😆. One thing is it wasn't long enough I can't wait for the next book in this series.😍
Would recommend if biker guys troubled past and past lovers nearly 20 years later
Sarah run from her abusive DEA husband when she finds out she's pregnant. But coming to Montana bring her face to face with an old love in Jake. Now an MC member he and his club will protect Sarah and her son from her abusiver. This was a new author to me but I will be looking forward to more of her books.
Beautiful ! Ugh Jake ! You are everything 😍 love me some deliciously loving caring understanding and protective MMC ! And throwing a bike oh ma gawd 🔥😍🥵😂 Sarah overcame it all. She is inspiring. Just incredible character build up. Defined a huge glow up. These two together are everything. Must read
Sarah is on the run from her abusive husband, Michael, and reunites with her first love, Jake. Now it’s a matter of keeping her and her unborn child safe as they try to create a life together. What lengths will Michael go to find her? And can Jake and his motorcycle club stay one step ahead?
I enjoyed this second chance, small town, protector MMC, MC romance. Jake is the perfect balance of country sweetheart and ruthless MC enforcer. I’m curious to see what will happen next!
I was given a free copy. I am leaving my review voluntarily.
Well, that was awesome. Sarah escaping a violent marriage and only to run into her old flame from over a decade ago and the flame reignites. Her old flame will stop at nothing to ensure her safety and keep her as her old lady. I love the extensive family of the Rebel Sons MC when they accepted Sarah and her unborn rebel. Bring on the next book!
Wow! This is a new to me author and I’m so happy I picked up another book in this series during a Stuff Your Kindle event. I am absolutely impressed by the storytelling and characters in this book. It isn’t often a find a new author who blows me away like this but here we are. Jake and Sarah are the main characters and they are surrounded by a whole host of people I can’t wait to get to know better. Mystery, intrigue, drama and spicy good stuff are found throughout. I cannot wait to dive into the next one!!!!
Romance trope: MC/second chance Series: Rebel Sons MC Length: 243 pages
Plot: Sarah has decided that it's finally time to leave her abusive husband. She will do anything to save her baby. So with the help of her sister-in-law, she fakes her death and makes her way to a new state. Once there, she runs into her childhood sweetheart. He has never forgotten her and will do anything to keep her safe, even with the trouble coming for them and his MC.
Commentary: This was a sweet story with a somewhat unbelievable coincidence to start things off. The fact that they both ended up in some random town at the same time is a little tough to believe, but I enjoyed the fact that Jake was all in again from the very beginning and never let Sarah feel any doubt about the fact that he still loved her even after all the years passed.
I adored this book with all the dark and all the love it had. I never saw the twist with Michael but it made it so much better when Jake took control over the situation with Sarah.
10/10 Totally reccomend Finished it in one sitting. This MC book makes me feel like I'm in it. I was so invested in the characters and fell hard for Jake. Jake is one of the good ones. Love this found family after such devastation. Please check triggers before reading and if you have none enjoy the book! I know you will! On to the next one because I am hooked!
This was a good second chance romance that is also a MC romance. It’s light on the MC, not a lot of action at the clubhouse but it doesn’t suffer for it. Sarah and Jake were so good and I loved all the new people that Sarah met after her escape from her abusive husband. Looking forward to reading more of this series.
