Childhood lover’s second chance and this story is a success.
Who would have thought they meet again and get a chance to figure out if they still love each other. Definitely not Waylen and Presley.
Their chemistry and attraction is one thing, the ex and the bag guys another while the Team and Volcano do their thing. Juggling all is taking its toll.
Excellent story with action, love and friendship while fighting for a future.

Readers will love this awesome second chance love story. Presley is a feisty and forthright character. Waylen is a former SEAL and tech nerd who is totally loyal to his friends. The dialogue is hot, sharp and entertaining which adds to the total spice of the book. The plot is well designed and follows an arc that sees the characters coming to life before the readers eyes. It melds several parts of the series together which is great for the readers.

This was a great book because there's always something going on, whether it's danger, heat which I'm glad didn't take over the story, the way all the guys get along and new beginnings. HEA.

Waylen and Presley grew up together on the Big Island. They were each other’s first love, but when Waylen’s father passes away unexpectedly his mother moves them away to Maryland. At first they stayed in touch, but he went on to fulfill his dream of attending the Naval Academy and becoming a Seal. Presley didn’t want to stand in his way, but was heartbroken. Each of them eventually moving on, but each still in love with the other.
Fast forward 23 years later - Waylen and his team are now retired from the military. Each has vowed to remain together as a team. While going to the Big Island for a retirement party, they are going to look into the Brotherhood Protectors. Waylen has trepidation with going back there. He doesn’t know how he’ll feel being there since he hasn’t been back since his father died. He also thinks about the only woman who he ever loved and wonders what she is doing.
Presley is stuck dealing with an ex-husband who is a snake. She’s trying to regain full control of her family business that she and her ex inherited upon the passing of her father. Exciting suspense, danger and romance for Presley Miles and Waylen Brown. They were high school sweethearts before his father passed away and he and his mother moved away. Now returning to the Big Island, he wonders about his first, well really his only, Presley. He meets her again during a rescue involving her charter business. She has always loved the ocean and is now in charge of her parent’s business…well, along with the ex-mistake that she married and divorced. He wonders if there is still that spark between them, after all, she named her boat and her cat “Waylen”! When he believes that her ex-husband has involved her in something that could endanger her and the business, he brings in his five former SEAL teammates. Is her ex trying to take over her business or involved in something illegal? Whatever his plans, he has messed with the wrong group of men as they will do what is necessary to keep her safe! This is part of the latest offering in the Brotherhood world I love these small groups of ex military that form a unit under the brotherhood banner as it introduces me to new authors that I may not of read before This isn't the case with this one as Jen is a go to author for me.
Waylen and his fellow ex Seals are enjoying their retirement travelling and just relaxing while they decide what is next and there latest stop is Hawaii who knew that a volcano would erupt while they were there. This puts Waylen Brown back in the orbit of Presley Miles they had been childhood sweethearts when Waylen lived in Hawaii but the death of his father caused his mother to move them severing their connection. But he soon learns that the connection is still there when he reconnects with her the only problem is her ex has put her in danger and it will take Waylen and all his teammates to keep her safe Can these two reform the connection they always had and have they both finally found the home they didn't know they were looking for

Deciding what they want to do, Waylen and his team are checking out the Brotherhood Protectors. He has returned to Hawaii after being away for over 20 years. When his father passed, his mother had to get away from the island and took Waylen with her. Being back now, he sees Presley, the love he never got over, when he ends up on her stranded boat in the ocean after an explosion has badly burned a client. When it is determined that the gas line was tampered with, Waylen is determined to protect her at all costs with the help of his team. Presley has a tour company Driftwinder Tours, she has worked hard to preserve after her father’s death. Her ex-husband owns a little less than half the company but makes demands on her. As they dwell into him and his business, they find why he is determined to get the business for himself. Waylen is determined to keep her safe as well as never let her go again.

Book 4 of this series within my favourite world. Waylen and the guys are in Hawaii, memories for Waylen of his first love, his dad and so much more. Waylen left 23 years ago as a teen and does not expect to land on her boat during a rescue. The chemistry is there and so is the love.
As they reacquaint as adults there is trouble around them. Someone wants her dead and Waylen is determined to keep her safe. His Cyber hacking skills uncover some nasty secrets from her past.
I loved these characters, all of the former SEALS and their relationship with each other and their potential love interests. The authors have done a wonderful collaboration with these stories and I'm sad the next story is the last...for now anyway until a new team.

I liked Waylen. He’s a good guy. But when he returns to Hawaii at first it’s for a retirement party. He was born and raised on the island. Now it just seems different. When him and his teammates are called to help out with the volcano which has erupted, but before that happens a distress call comes in. He’s about to take a flight with his partner Kian. A women his buddy can’t stop staring at is going to fly them to the boat that’s in trouble. Blake Garrett gives tells them what’s going on, and Waylen will jump down to the boat. When he sees the boat he’s beside himself. Then he sees the women who’s on the boat. It’s the women he never forgot Presley Miles. He must access the situation, and get the person the help.
All is ok, but Presley’s ex-husband is creating problems for her. Waylen will not stop at anytime hing without helping her out. His teammates as well.

Presley Miles and Waylen Brown were a popular couple known around the island. But when his dad died unexpectantly, his mom moved them off the island within a week. They wrote for a while but drifted apart, both went through acrimonious divorces didn’t have children, didn’t forget each other but were unsure how they’d feel to see each other again. That question was answered when Presley’s charter exploded and an insured client is injured and Waylen’s the SEAL who answered her distress call.
Catching up, Waylen and his team are all over Presley’s issues with her smarmy ex that she’d found out was a scam artist likely to have caused the boat incident. While digging Waylen found plenty more Presley’s not so smooth ex was guilty of, the least of which was throwing away her pet. Literally! Before he knew she wasn’t killed in the explosion.

It kind of goes without saying that I’m a sucker for a second chance. Waylen and Presley are a pair that desperately deserved another shot at getting it right together after getting it so tragically wrong with other people. I loved how their long-ago connection snapped back into place and I enjoyed seeing the lengths Waylen would go to in order to protect Presley. The villain in her life wasn’t a big surprise, but nearly every page revealed new depths to which that individual had sunk. I adored seeing these two finally get the Happy Ever After they deserved. Now, I need to know about the Forevers for the rest of Waylen’s team.

Their journey in this book is a mix of past and present, old and new, memories and new experiences....but all of it is exactly what they need to embrace this new chapter in their lives, and it is fitting that they find each other again and finally get the future they planned together - even if it is twenty years late!
I really like this team, they are not only brothers, but a family and they welcome each and every one of the women as the guys find and fall for their 'one'.

Oh I loved me some Waylen. Be still my heart. Presley was perfect for him, years ago as teens and now as adults, battling some henchmen and a volcano. Waylen is a mama's boy and proud of it. He is back home and dealing with personal issues. Presley lost both her parents and is struggling to keep her Driftwinder Tours afloat, no thanks to her ex. This is a great second chance romance. I love reading Jen Talty book’s. Waylon and his SEAL team are retired and in Hawaii working temporarily for the Brotherhood. Waylon left the Big Island when he was seventeen after his father died and his mother moved them back to Maryland. Presley is now running her family tour business trying to buy out her ex-husband who has swindle his way to part ownship. Waylon rescues Presley after there is an explosion on her boat and is then found to have been intentional.

A great story. Presley has taken over her family tour business and unfortunately her ex husband owns part of it and she's trying to buy him out. Out on a tour, a client is burned and her boat goes dead in the water. She calls for help and Waylen comes to help her. Waylen is a retired Navy Seal and he and his team are on vacation. He used to live on the Island when he was younger and know Presley. Things heat up for them as he protects Presley from someone trying to kill her. I read an arc of this book and this is my review.l

When Danger arises all around them, be it by an unreasonable and shady Ex - or by a Volcano, Waylen and Presley have to grab on to each other (again) if they want to make it out unharmed.
This Book, like the others in the Teal Koa Series, can be read as a Stand-Alone, but for maximum reading enjoyment, i'd read them in Order of Release.

A great second-chance love story with suspense that has a dangerous ex-husband. High school sweethearts split up when he moved away. They both had unsuccessful marriages and never forgot each other. When danger finds Presley, Waylen becomes protective alpha. Working together to determine who's gunning for Presley, they reconnect romantically. A terrific storyline that keeps the reader interested. I received a copy, and I'm voluntarily giving my review.

Waylen grew up on the big island and when his team goes to Hawaii to attend his commander's retirement party. He knows he must confront his past before his future can be decided. When the Kilauea volcano erupts, his team volunteers to help get everyone to safety and that includes Presley. As danger finds them, while out on Presley's’ boat the Waylon, they must put out a mayday after an explosion damages the boat and they are taking on water. I highly recommend this book.

I'm voluntarily leaving a review after receiving a free copy. I liked that Waylen and Presley got back together when he returns to Hawaii. It was cute how she named her cat and boat after him. Their love stayed strong. Her ex was a jerk in more than one way and I was glad Waylen and his friends were there to protect her. I really liked how everything worked out in the end and their plans for the future.

A second chance story I liked
After my rant about the last book this may surprise some. Yes, they were high school sweethearts that life tore apart before they came of age. But each had lives. And really, who doesn't remember their first with fondness? As for the action/adventure part of the story, well that was top notch. A nice mix of finding one's true love again, and trying to keep her alive. Good job.

They are all written in a way that pulls you into their story.
Also you can find new author's that way.

Waylen is really something else….
Waylen and Presley found love at a very young age but life got in the way and it wasn’t meant to be. They both chose a different path, but never let go. Until an unexpected event brings them together again. When Presley’s life is threatened Waylen will move mountains to protect the only woman he’s ever loved. He never forgot and he never moved on. Presley was always the one.

I was gifted this book, and I voluntarily chose to review it. This is a well written story with awesome characters. I loved seeing characters from previous books and I look forward to what comes next. Take your time with this one it is worth it. I would encourage everyone to get this one. Go get this one and enjoy!!!

Second time around
Young love doesn't always last but when it's right it's fantastic. Salty told us a second chance romance story full of heartache, distrust, dishonesty, arguing and deceit. She also showed us life long love and loss, passion, hope, respect, acceptance and deep affection. Yes, there was some suspense and danger. However, HEA wins.
