Rate this book
After witnessing the terrible murder of his parents something changed in Bryn Lardon. He had lost all of his placid nature and turned into a murderous villain. Bryn wanted revenge, he wanted power and he wanted glory. With a drunk Scottish transvestite, a delusional Spanish pirate and a very stoned Rastafarian as the nucleus of his gang he sets about to take over the world and what better place to start than at Mount Snowdon, North Wales. This comedy crime thriller is a must have for anybody with a sense of humour!

This book will worm its way into your affections. Attack of the Terror Worms is pure satire at its finest and most straightforward… but with worms and with tongue stuffed firmly into its cheek, although I don’t know if worms have cheeks as such. Why worms? Who knows, but somehow it works. Our Welsh (anti)hero, O Salmon Bryn Lardon (yep), having witnessed (spoiler alert) the horrific murder of his parents on a fishing trip, sets out on a life of crime and terrorism, first in London and then Snowdonia, meeting various murky animal-based life-forms along the way. Imaginative and huge fun if you don’t take it (or yourself) too seriously. Full of jokes and puns, many of which work. Oh, and I loved the drawings: the author is a talented cartoonist.
