I stumbled on this delightful book of poetry in a Little Free Library on Marshall Avenue in the Cities. Rush Hour is equal parts treasure trove of quirky characters and bildungsroman of an Irish Catholic boy. Perhaps, if anyone were to be the James Joyce of the Twin Cities, it would be Kevin Fitzpatrick. He understands the way cities live and breathe, and his poetry is a delight to read.
