With his forces all but destroyed by Corbin's fleet, and the few remnants fleeing for their lives, Marc Dynteryx, heir to the throne of Dynt, makes for the emergency rendezvous. Racque Foxxe arrives on his heels. His squad has been captured, his sister Coryelle's ship among them. Intelligence says the prisoners are aboard Commander Ydre's battle cruiser, surrounded by fighters, high priority security, and hundreds of men. Rescue is impossible-or is it?
The choices that follow test the caliber of the heir to the throne, his companions, and his adversary, Ran Corbin.

I decided to take the risk and buy a copy of The Lost King. It arrived while I was reading this one and I was very pleased to see it is indeed the end of the story.
That made rereading this very satisfying as I knew I'd be able to keep on going and find out what happens next.
I enjoyed this reread and I look forward to the next one.
