The Basics of Baptism: A Workbook for Parents and Children

Rate this book
What is baptism? Why should I get baptized? What does baptism mean? What does the Bible say about God, sin, Jesus, salvation, church, and baptism?

As a parent, it can feel overwhelming to try to answer these questions from your child. Where do you turn to find biblical answers to these important questions? In hopes to answer all of these questions, Pastor Landon Coleman created a workbook for parents and children to look at what the Bible says about baptism.

The Basics of Baptism is a book about the gospel – that word means good news. The good news of the gospel is a story. In fact, it’s the story of the Bible itself, from Genesis to Revelation. This is a story about a holy God, sinful people, a Savior named Jesus, and how we must respond to Jesus in repentance and faith.

In a fun, easy-to-read way, The Basics of Baptism provides an opportunity for parents and children to understand the gospel and baptism together.

This is a fantastic resource for pastors, parents, and children. We will be using this at our church for all baptism prospects under 6th grade.
