The shifter world teeters on the brink of disaster in the third volume of The Garden of Beastly Delights series.
When she first arrived at the mercurial Raven Court, Natalie only wanted to secure a future for herself, her family, her court, and her love. Instead, she has found herself bound to the powerful Raven King and standing on the front lines of a ferocious war with the werewolves.
Even worse, people have begun to spontaneously transform all over Europe, and it's only a matter of time before the shifter world is forever exposed to humans who may prefer to hunt and destroy them rather than live alongside them.
To survive, Natalie will have to train her emerging powers, form unusual alliances, and embrace love in ways she never imagined. If she can’t, it may spell doom not just for herself and those she holds dear, but for every shapeshifter on Earth as well.
I loved this! I didn't know what to expect and honestly it surprised me the entire way through. It was romantic. It was exciting. It was funny. The spice was great. No notes. I just want more!
AMAZING! I have been looking forward to this book since finishing the last one and it was well worth the wait. Great twists. Fun characters. SO MUCH worldbuilding! Plus, we're finally getting some spice and it was just so hot, so sexy, and so in-tune with the characters. The only problem with this love triangle is that I wish she could keep both guys!
YES YES, A THOUSAND TIMES YES. I love this world, I love the romance. I couldn't put it down. Read halfway through the night and woke up early to read the rest. Already ordered the next one!
Third installment of a great series. Lots of angst and a bit of ‘why choose’ going on, with lots of political intrigue to keep the pages turning. So, so ready for the next book!!!!!
Great writing. Really cool fantasy. Pulled me in right from the start and felt unique in the way she approaches the world. There's so much depth and layering that it feels real, and I like that the main character is figuring things out along the way like any of us would in the same situation. I stumbled upon this writer a while ago and now I've got alerts for her work so I can read it first thing.
LOVED-LOVED-LOVED! It was longer than the other two but it packed so much in, with worldbuilding and customs and holidays and the characters! I love the other Alter Supremes so much! Especially the Spider Lady. It's the little details that really get me--the shinies, if you will, of the series--hidden for readers. Things that were set up in the first and second books that are paying off here. SO COOL! And that fertility ritual? Mm-MMM! How do I sign up?!
Another incredible book by Sierra! I've been hooked through the entire series. I loved the spice! The world building has stayed incredible and kept me immersed in the book not wanting to put it down!
