Clowder Cats Cozy #3

A Mountain of Mischief

Rate this book
The Valewood Resort is busier than ever, thanks to the annual snowmobiling race in town. Eden Brooks and the crew are being run ragged trying to keep up. Just when they think they’ve got a handle on things, everything starts to go wrong.

Someone begins forging their own trails through the nearby forest, disrupting the clowder, and threatening everyone’s sanity, and sleep, during their nightly runs. None of the competitors seem to care until one of their own ends up dead.

The final competition is looming and fingers are being pointed everywhere. Too many suspects and too many motives mean it’s going to take all of Eden’s skills to save the clowder and help Ethan Rhodes solve the case.

Really cozy.

I have read all of the Razzy Cat series and the first two books of the Clowder Cats before reading this one. They are a bit simplistic, but they are also sweet and fun, and I truly enjoy every one of them. And who wouldn't want to be able to actually talk with cats and understand them? I know I would. I'll be waiting for the next one.

Minor mistakes

All in all a good read. Needs better proofreading to make sure the right names and words are used. Makes me wish I could converse with my cat.

This was an interesting book. The talking cats add a lot to the plot, especially keeping Eden safe. I recommend this series.

Clever clowder caper!

I love this series! The cats are so cute. I love finding out about their lives. I want more! I love Jasper and Fig and Ollie. The new addition Benny just captured my imagination. On the human side this was a very intriguing mystery. Maybe the next one could be less dangerous like a jewel thief or something. Overall very exciting. Could not put this down!!!

I love this series, the Razzy Cat series, and the Miracle Cat series!

I adore the interactions between Eden and Jasper and also Eden & the clowder. Hopefully, Eden will win more of them over, and we'll get more conversations and visits with more individual members. Also, it's fun to see the family-like vibe with most of the staff at the resort. These are what I look forward to the most with these books; the mysteries are an added bonus.

Can't wait for the next one!

After reading 15 books of the Razzy Cat series and now 3 of the Clowder Cats, I am now feeling bereft because I can't visit with these cats again until September when Pushing up Daisies comes out.

Obnoxious snowmobilers take over the resort for a week and of course one ends up getting murdered.

Eden finally tells Charlie her secret (that she can communicate with the cats).

I love this series!

After reading the entire series about Razzy cat I decided to delve into this series. An excellent idea! It's absolutely amazing! I love the feline characters and the humans aren't so bad either. Each book I've read has been enjoyable and interesting. I usually them in one sitting. Can't put them down! I'd like to see more of Razzy cat, also!!!!!!!

Loved the Razzie Cat series. Now I'm enjoying the clowder series very much as well. Light hearted yet that bit of mystery. Very much a cat person. I keep looking at Max and Thor, waiting for them to talk my language. Ya never know, right? 😊🐈‍⬛🐈

I’m not sure what keeps drawing me back to this series. I’ve read far better books, but there is a kind of innocence that may be brining me back for more. Well, that and the cats…

I love the interaction with the Clowder Cats. If only it were possible to explain to them that we were trying to help them, not hurt them.
