Mikael and Aaron are cought up in a battle with the Queen 's forces, after he had made a deal with the Queen and she broke it, as usual. The two are separated with about half the crew each when Aaron tasks himself to protect the escape of his father. The Queen has betrayed the crew, gone after the three alien male members of the crew along with their families and has given the order to capture and kill the entire crew.

Mikael and his crew secure a location where the families and the doctor can be relatively safe and leaves them there as he and the rest depart on a mission to find Aaron and his crew and liberate them from the grips of the awful Queen.

Again, the author uses his remarkable gift to take the reader on a virtual adventure where treachery, savageness, being separated, and the fact that no regard for human life are the norm for the civilizations they encounter. I personally find the book a tribute to a great author, a page turner and look forward to read the next book in the series while I rate this book 5 stars and highly recommend it.

The queen has proved to be a vindictive minx out to kill anyone daring to take her on whichever way.
Howeverthis time she is desperate to get ahold of the cashcrop that Michael Decosta annexed.
Which is perfect for Michael because that is the way then to escape death, he and his son and the rest of the crew.
Author Daniel Young, however, is a master of action and everything soon devolves into a series of fights from one planet to the next and even the reader would likely have to grit his teeth to stay with the change of scenery from one chapter to the next
Enjoy.

Another exceptional story of the DeCosta family. Their exciting adventure through Alien landscapes is dangerous, different and unusual. From the beginning you wonder how they’ll make it safely through.
