I've found a woman I can't live without. It's not just about the things we do in the bedroom. But the way she looks at me. The way she touches me. The way she loves me. Maybe I can have what Titan has. Maybe I can have even more.
After the second book I read mostly the dialogue. I finished the series as I have issue with closures so I nearly always finish the books I start. What mostly annoyed me was the repetition- every beautiful woman was compared to model. That was so predictable. Also, look like all women and men in this series had the same preference in sex. Ah, yes- And not much diversity.
Again, in my personal opinion, the summary doesn’t do this book justice, but that’s ok. So where we are in this story is a great place for just about everyone. We know that Hunt/Titan are in a GREAT place – getting ready for their wedding in Thailand. We know that Thorn and Autumn are in a better place – seeing that they mean enough to one another to be in a monogamous relationship but not sure what it means past that. (at least they won’t say it out loud). We also see Vincent is in a place where he’s able to move forward a bit personally with someone who’s appropriate, and that’s a first for him.
We have three plot lines to follow in this story and then a sub plot line that i think we all were waiting for. Watching how these relationships find their footing, really solidify into something that works for each, and watching how they weave together is intense.
Much of this story is spent wondering what their world will be like once the Hunts become the Hunts. When their empires are merged, and when they become one power couple bound by law. Both are strong minded people, willing to give in some ways but not in others, and we see fights and debate brew around names, pre-nups, babies etc. The intensity and love that comes off of these two though makes us assured that there will be a resolution that works.
Then there’s the new heat and passion coming from Thorn and Autumn. They are at a place where they better understand each other and what it was from their past that made them into the emotionally stunted people they are today. Life has an interesting way of playing things out though and when they find themselves in Chicago for a conference and Thorns parents come to the forefront of things, feelings are forced onto the table and the nudge that Thorn needed is more of a strong push. Then the occasion is flipped when we find ourselves in CT with Autumn’s family and things are one again brought to a head. The constant here is that there’s this connection that they share that changes the dynamic of all that Thorn has needed in the past and it makes both of them into better people. Where they will go, only up i’d imagine, but how far up is up to the reader.
Then there’s Vincent and Scarlet. They are both quite comfortable with where they are in life, and patient enough with one another to be able to fight for what they want but know when not to push. I think that for this ninth installment, this couple is the one with the most drama. We know that Scarlet’s past isn’t a good one with her ex husband, and when information is brought to Vincent’s attention, (thanks Dielsel for the push), we see what exactly that means. There are ramifications not only for Scarlet’s ex, but for her whole family since it means that her daughter will be told about things that were always hidden from her and that means that a family will be destroyed. The flip side is that we get to see the Hunt protectiveness come at us full force here both in this instance and in what Vincent does for Scarlet when she’s put in a bad professional position.
The sub plot that i mentioned earlier is one that isn’t surprising but still makes you wonder if we get to see reciprocation or a hypocritical side to our mains. The woman who kept coming around asking for Titan is determined to be her mom, and well, Titan wants nothing to do with her. She’s skeptical of why she’s back around, and still doesn’t want a relationship. While she says there’s no anger, she seethes anger. This is where Diesel comes into play, doing exactly what Titan did to rebuild the relationship with his father, and it’ll be interesting to see how that plays out (or at least to imagine).
We get so many resolutions in this final book to the series, we see what questions that we posed throughout get answers, and we get an epilogue that gives us a glimpse into the future. There are still so many uncertainties, but there is a sense of closure in quite a few story lines. There’s a hint at a Brett romance that we never heard of before that i would LOVE to get a spin-off for (i’m going to dig and see if there is one actually) but otherwise, we see things play out as they should.
I’m sad to be leaving this series – 9 books of a great family of friends that really were unique, powerful, romantic and intense. So, onto the next and hopefully the next series will be just as great.
I Just Wanna Be The Only Girl You Love All You Love All You Life
After everything we have been through with Tatum, Diesel, Thorn, and Vincent it's finally time to bid them adieu and it was so masterfully handled. While it's sad to let them go you won't be disappointed. The long and winding road that lead those crazy kids Tatum and Diesel here has finally gotten them to the day they have yearning for - Tatum Titan and Diesel Hunt cordially invite you to attend their blessed union. Finally Tatum will become Mrs Hunt and they can begin the life they never dreamed possible prior to one another. Thorn thought he was saving Autumn future inevitable pain by breaking things off, but it’s clear to anyone with eyes these two have something worth the risk. Thorn has always believed himself incapable of love, but Autumn may be just be the one he's been waiting for without even knowing it. Vincent let some of his walls down for Scarlet and hasn't been this happy in ages. Letting someone else in his heart is hard, but Scarlet is patient, kind, and generous. Happily Empire After as well as Happily Ever After is the motto of this series.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.
I think one of my favorite things thru this entire series is Vincent and Diesel’s relationship mended. I absolutely loved this. I loved that Tatum and her mother reunited also. Forgiveness is always to go. Actually every storyline in this book had some element of forgiveness. I don’t think I’ve read a series that went this in-depth into forgiveness.
I absolutely loved this series! Tatum and Diesel fighting for their relationship. Deciding whatever comes they will try to make it work. I think Diesel actually being the one that says I want a family, and I want that with her was different for me.
Thorn and Autumn... Thorn actually realizing that yes he can love. I thought his realization that he can do it, and then she finds out when he confronts Max. ❤️ we actually see two people (Tatum and Thorn) that don’t really believe they can trust others so they are willing to settle fall in love with two (Diesel and Autumn) that know it can happen.
Vincent and Scarlet... I have to say in the last two books was my favorite part. I don’t know why, but something about him and the love he still had for his first wife touched me. Of course, I wanted him to have a happy ending, but I also related to that.
What more do you want but a happy ending for all the characters! ❤️
I liked the entire series, except for all the mistakes, and misspelled words. Your Editor, should be ashamed of his/her self. Way too many mistakes. As for the story, It was good, except for the end. What about Jax, and Brett?! Do they get their own stories? It was mentioned that Brett, just got serious with Natalie. Who is Natalie?! I don't remember her being introduced to the story. What about Tatums', New found brothers?! They weren't introduced, at all. What about Scarlets' daughter Lizzie?! This story needs to be continue ..I will read whatever you write. I like the ending. I don*t like Loose Ends.
I have to say I really did NOT enjoy this series at all, it goes on far too long and Titan did not have a decent payoff. It had promise, but devolved in our heroine aquesing to the demands of her man. I thought Titan would be a boss, but she wasn't. The name debate alone was too too disappointing for 2022, for gosh sakes! Not worth the time.
OMG! This entire series is worth every penny! I loved, loved, loved how Ms. Quinn tied up all of the loose ends and gave us the HEA of all HEA'S. Her writing is simply AWESOME! The steamy scenes are done so well. They vary depending on the character POV. I loved how it changed from male to female perspective. I totally enjoyed how she weaved Thorn & Autumn and Vincent & Scarlet's stories in with Diesel & Tatum. Seriously, the best series of the year so far.
I can’t believe this was the final book of this series. 😭😭It was such an incredible journey that I’ll never forget, definitely has become one of my best reads this year and all time favourite. Tatum Titan & Diesel Hunt, you are legends! 😍
Finally! I don't know if I could read another book in this series. The characters changed so much that by the end, I can't remember who they were before and I don't know if I like who they became.
I have no feelings towards Thorn and Autumn because their side story didn't present much opportunity for a connection. Readers just didn't have enough buy-in.
As for Vincent and Scarlet, I would have liked at least one scene from her POV. Doesn't seem fair that every other couple got a dual POV. To be honest, it's not fair how many books Tatum and Diesel got when the other couples clearly needed their own space.
One of the things that irked me the most about the end of this series was how quick everyone was to forgive. I am not saying that holding grudges is healthy or productive but emotions need the proper time to be resolved. And no one in this novel was accused of a small feat.
At this point, I was over the sex scenes but I did get some good moments as Tatum and Diesel discussed their finances and union. Not what I expected but good nonetheless.
This was a wrap novel in all the sense. Loose ends were tied and the table cleared. Even if it took all of five minutes to forgive the things that cause these people severe PTSD throughout life.
At this point, I read it for the closure, so I guess beggars can't be choosers.
I will only provide a review on the last book because I read it all in the span of a week an I hardly gave myself time to breathe, never mind sing out a review for all 9 books...
NO ways!
This book was A. MA. ZING! The storyline was so riveting and captured my mind like no book has in a really long time.
Weird fact: I kept thinking that Titan is a blonde... LOL, I couldn't wipe the image out no matter how hard I tried *shrugs*
I love how in the beginning they are both fighting for dominion, but I especially love it when Diesel wins.... Ooooooh that was thrilling stuff. I must admit, in the beginning I was really suspicious of Thorn, their friendship just didn't make sense to me and in the end I was convinced it would come to pass that he is the one who leaked that story to the press about her past.
I am so absolutely grateful to the author for eventually giving me a bit more from Thorn and then from Vincent. Having their POV's added a bit of refreshment to the never ending story of Diesel and Tatum.
Just an FYI - There is LOTS of sex... LOTS! From Diesel and Tatum to Thorn and Autumn to Vincent and his lady(Scarlet I think? I can't remember her name **oops**)
But I am very impressed with how the old fashioned man in Vincent came through with his relationship as well.
A definite favorite and one I will remember... Such and empire from both in the story... LOL! Everyone is wealthy! **spoiler**Even the mother who left her at 5**spoiler** It was definitely the escape from reality I needed.
What an awesome conclusion to this epic story. Every single thread is wrapped up. All of the trials and tribulations that the characters have gone through have paid such fantastic dividends. There was still some tense scenes involving Vincent and Scarlett pertaining to her past but Vincent once again showed his true character and the reason that Jax and Diesel hold him in such high esteem. The only thing that could have made it more epic (but less dignified and slightly hazardous) was if Titan had actually followed Diesel's instructions in the note that Thorn handed her.
And the pièce de résistance - AN AWESOME FRICKIN' EPILOGUE!!!!!!!! (I won't say anything but just about everyone was all there)
The author graced me with a review copy and I freaking loved this story - at times intense, funny, smoking hot, tear jerking, and inspiring.
Victoria Quinn did a fantastic pulling all these characters together. Adore Thorn and Titan relationship. Wish they could have figured it all out before they went public lol 😂 but things worked out all together.
This is a long entertaining series. Would love stories about Jax & Brett too finding love ! If she wanted there are plenty of characters to make more to this series. I would be happy if that happened.
Seeing characters develop over time is wonderful & the love shining through . Now there are many many love scenes . So be warned lots of passion between the sheets !
If you love ❤️ hot spicy 🌶️ & suspense. Well click it !! Read it !!
The thing that spoilt the series for me was the bad editing. Mistakes and bad spelling in this day and age is unnecessary and unforgivable on such a large scale. I was disappointed that her two BFF’s were paramount to the plot in the initial books regarding secrecy of Hunt and Titan’s relationship, but they were never heard of again when she was shot and needed them! Many of the lines were repetitive eg how the men sat; how the women looked; cum dripping on sheets etc. My biggest problem was the alpha male attitude that sometimes bordered on misogynistic. That Titan capitulated and was sometimes treated with aggression. For a strong character I was frustrated by how easily she was manipulated and Hunt got his way. The books were entertaining and enjoyable despite this. .
Why did this series have to come to end!!! I mean for real tho I loved everything about it. It's definitely bittersweet this was such amazing journey, I was on a emotional rollercoaster the whole time but it was so worth it to see everyone come full circle we have seen that love does conquer all and friendships turn into love stories. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read so sad that this series has come to end but I'm glad that everyone got the HEA they deserve. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.
This book brought everything together for all the characters. Titan and Diesel’s story ended perfectly. And I loved watching Thorn discover his true feelings for Autumn. And Vincent, once again, stole my heart. Even though Vincent and Scarlet’s story was short and sweet, I really liked how they evolved and ended up. This was just a superb series. Never a dull moment and full of spice between all the couples. I’m sad it’s over.
I enjoyed the connection each character found when they met someone they couldn't live without! I admired this author for allowing all characters to find true happiness. The way Victoria tied everyone together in the last book was brilliantly done. It was unbelievable how father & son could forgive each other & move forward to have a new chapter in their lives. You have got to admire Thorn's personality before & after Autumn. Great read 😀
I enjoyed this series very much! It was a well-written page-turning love story! The characters were great and all of the women in these books were written in a wonderfully positive way. This series is very well-written, interesting and entertaining one! Filled with loads of very hot sex! I highly recommend this series. I would definitely consider reading other books written by Ms. Quinn.
I completed the entire series and it was beautiful, funny, inspiring. I loved how strong the female characters we’re written. I enjoyed how Ms Quinn made each character strong and venerable, especially the men. For all their strength, they found themselves blindsided by unexpected feelings of love, admiration and affection. I loved how all the loose ends were tied together but it would be nice to see Brett and Jax story.
The perfect ending to a wonderful series. Every question is answered, every character gets their happily ever after and with every page of this book the reader falls more in love with the storyline. Victoria Quinn is a master storyteller that brings to life beautiful characters with plot twist that make the pages turn. This will be one series I will reread very frequently.
I’m lost for words this is such an amazing journey, i’ve felt every emotion possible along the way but what an ending ... WOW. I’ve read this book twice before writing this review because i just couldn’t help myself, it made me smile. This is a series i will most certainly turn back to and read again.
Omg I loved this book!! I couldn’t put it down the second I received it! I love how everyone got their happy endings! This entire series was amazing! Victoria Quinn captivates you from the first book all the way to the last to the last book! I love the stories between all the characters and loved seeing everyone blossom! Victoria QUINN you knocked it out of the park with this series!
I kept stalling to finish the book as I didn’t want to come to the end of the series. Victoria Quinn has done it again and written such a gripping series that I’m missing Diesel, Tatum, Thorne & Vincent. This series has had every emotion thrown at you and I have been gripped from beginning to end and I won’t know what to do now it’s finished.
I can't believe we are at the end of this series. I love this last book, but I am so sad to see it all come to an end. The main characters were excellent and the supporting casts were just right.
This series really brings out the emotions.
Excellent work Victoria Quinn....now let's have a movie please.
The story of Diesel and Tatum is an absolutely incredible story! The two of them so locked into their own worlds with their own stories - it didn’t seem possible that either of them would ever find someone worthwhile of loving. Until a very unusual arrangement puts them on the road!! Excellent story!!
I would love to read more of the Hunt family saga. Additionally, I'd like to find out what happens with Brett's relationship with Natalie, whether Jax falls in love and with whom, if Lizzie ends up with the guy she was dating, and if Thorn's brother ever reforms his playboy ways to find love.
This whole series has been one of the best reads ever. How the characters developed and adjusted when being knocked for six by an emotion unfelt before was gratifying. This final book wrapped everything up into the happiest of endings , but what about Jax and Brett, do they come in another book? Victoria Quinn is definitely in my list of preferred authors.
