I thought this was paced really well, usually books this short have a pacing problem for me. I would’ve liked to see more of a relationship develop between them though, a lot of it felt forced to me.

La lectura fue bastante ligera, aunque por momentos se me hizo algo extraña, sobre todo en las escenas smut. En general se lee muy rápido, pero lo sentí más como la primera parte de una historia y me quedé un poco a medias. Sé que hay un segundo libro, aunque todavía no estoy segura de si lo leeré.

I really enjoyed this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. The alien orc planet and learning about this new culture was fun and an aspect I really enjoy in alien romances bring around a people different from human society. I loved Renowlf and Mia. They had sizzling chemistry and though she questioned her place and what she wanted for her life, she can't deny the bond and connection between them. I loved Ren announcing her as his queen, and although as king he doesn't need to ask permission for anything from anyone, he tried to adjust to put Mia on equal footing to him and show her his devotion.

Bayliss was a horrible enemy to have and I was riveted to the page to see what would happen. There were twists and turns and I liked that Mia didn't back down.

It was a fitting and satisfying end. This was a great story. I highly recommend picking this one up! 5 stars.

What an enjoyable book this was and what’s not to love about a sexy Orc wanting you. Mia is a human female that was kidnapped and end up on Ann Orc planet where she is taken by a trader to see the Orc King. Now standing in front of the Orc King who is sexy as sin as Mia listens to the trader trying to sell her off and she kicks him and he turns and hits her hard and then there is an Orc standing over them with a sword and kills the trader right in front of her and she is shocked but she soon learns that she now belongs to the Orc King and he wants a Heir from her for saving her life. King Renowlf is an Orc who was on his throne when a trader comes in with a human female slave wanting to sell her but as soon as he see’s her he knows she is his mate and will carry his heir andd so he tells his second in command to kill the trader after he hits his mate. Now she just needs to know her place and that she belongs to him or he could let her think he will banish her if she doesn’t comply. Do they get there HEA and what happens to the Orc female that thought she would be his Queen. To get these answers get this book as I wait for the next one to arrive.

This is the first book I've read by this author and I really enjoyed how this one came together. With fab world building, interesting characters, culture, politics, action, danger and steamy romance, it was a page turner. Mia gets kidnapped from Earth to be 'gifted' to the orc king, Ren, to be his breeder. Unexpectedly, she triggers his mating spikes and he knows she'll be way more than a breeder to him. She'll be his queen. I loved his defense of women ad how he wanted to show Mia she'd be everything to him. I enjoyed his sister's antics and hated the bad guys - as we're supposed to ;P Expect a hot and steamy fated mates romance when you dive into this fun read. I'm really looking forward to the next book :D

Renowlf was a fine orc specimen, I liked that he was strong, protective, demanding and a bit of a beast. He had also a softer, tender side that made him do everything in his power for his fated mate. He was fine, but Mia fell flat. On one page she was vehemently against having his baby and few pages later she was drooling for him. The transition from fuck him! to I want to fuck him was too quick for me. They spent, what?, maybe a day with each other and she already loved him? If it was insta-love from the start then alright, but it was more of an insta-lust with her thinking how to run back to Earth, not really wanting to stay, and suddenly a day later she wanted to be his queen, prove the people she was worthy and said she loved him. Weird.

Very good start to a new series. I'm guessing from the history of the planets that there will be 12 books. It doesn't take much time to get who's going to be the main enemy, especially Mia's. But sometimes, with her attitude, Mia was losing brownie points with me. It was a bit too much. Ren, on the other hand, aimed to please, and could be the poster boy for the perfect spouse. There are some battle, prepare to die ... of fright. BUT the epilogue is to die for, it's so very funny and brings you to the next book. I love it when the authors do this.

This was a good start to what feels like a really interesting Orc series. Mia is abducted from earth and sold to the Orc king as a slave . Renowlf is one of many Orc kings a fierce warrior who only wants what is best for his people. When he first sees the female Mia he knows she is special. Fate has intervened and brought them both together. honestly the premise is good I really like the characters and its a fun read. I just wish there was more world building. The chemistry between the characters was there but the story seems a bit rushed. I do however think ill read the next in the series. It has promise. 💖🌟🔥🔥🌟💖

I liked this book. I loved her fighting personality. I just wanted more. It's not heavy on the romance. I expected the insta- love, but not sure how, since they spend very little time together. No book is perfect, so I expected typos. What really bugged me? The misspelled names! Not sure how anyone missed them?! Dorlok was spelled wrong just a few sentences below the way it was spelled throughout the book! Still, I did enjoy it, just wanted more. If you're into orc romance, light on the romance, then this is for you. I won't be continuing with the series. I just wanted so much more. On to the next!

I enjoyed the story, especially the strong connection between the main characters. However, I felt that the relationship between the destined couple could have been developed more. It seemed like they jumped into the relationship too quickly without enough build-up. Nonetheless, I appreciated the MMC's efforts to overcome the obstacles to their bond, even though some of his actions were extreme.

Another great series

There's only 2 books in this series, though there is a possibility for 12 one for each orc king. I really hope the author will continue writing for this series, this book contains court intrigue I know it doesn't sound interesting but the way the author did it with the action and fighting was anything but boring and the ending led to the second book. I really hope there will be more Lena Grey could become another favorite author.

Ren is a reluctant king and one growly orc warrior if there ever was one.

They come together and become a truly remarkable couple.

I loved it

This was a must read for any Orc warrior fans. He was a great character. Full of himself, as a Orc Warrior \King should be, and I loved his single-mindedness on how finding your true genetic match trumps all! Mia is a tough cookie and you see that from the first couple pages. I recommend this for any Orc romance lovers!
