Until We Trust is the third book in the Until series and can be read as a standalone. I have enjoyed this series and loved Paul and Tessa's story. Lilly has done a wonderful job creating believable, relatable, and likable characters. Tessa spends her days taking care of her teenage brother and running a floral shop. She doesn't prioritize her own needs and certainly doesn't have time for love. Enter Paul. He is a sweet, caring music teacher with an adorable dog named Hank. After meeting Tessa, Paul is instantly attracted to her.
This was such a sweet and heartwarming story. Paul and Tessa have my heart, and it was easy for me to root for them. They had an amazing connection and sizzling chemistry. Tessa is guarded, but as she spends more time with Paul, he slowly knocks down the walls around her heart. It takes a lot of strength to step into a guardianship role after a tragedy, and Tessa is certainly stronger than she thinks. Paul and Tessa were both battling real-life issues and were able to lean on each other. The development of their relationship was beautiful. Until We Trust was an emotional roller coaster and will definitely tug on your heartstrings. This story had just the right amount of heartbreak, fun banter, angst, tension, buildup, comedic moments, and heat.

lilly has done it again! thank you for this arc book 🤍🫶🏼 i love you girl!!! i loved reading about paul & tessa (and sam & hank). tessa’s (agreeable) suspicions of not being sure if she should start dating again, paul showing her that she absolutely should date him & sam encouraging her (up until a certain point) that she should just let go and do it 🩷. up to the ending (people who’ve read the book will know) i’ve cried and even though you know it’s a happy ending, you get scared if they truly can get through it. the epilogue is just absolutely adorable! i loved this book! 🫶🏼

First and foremost I want to thank Lilly for allowing me to get on board on this journey by giving me the opportunity to read the ARC of "Until We Trust".
It is the third book in the "Until" series, but can without any problematics be read as a standalone, which is something I did. However, now that I have read it, I am without a single doubt will re read the series from the start to make sure not to miss any easter eggs.
I am a huge fan of romantic comedy on screen so it does not come as a surprise that I am an absolute sucker for it on paper as well, and this book has given me all, but what did catch me far more than the comedic aspect of the book (regardless how many times it has left me chuckling down at my screen while reading) is the way the MMC and the FMC were incredibly relatable. It was easy breezy to find yourself in the characters, as well as it was both scary and delightful to find yourself connecting to the story, for in spite of the funny aspects occuring all through the story, there was some heavy bagagge to carry. I found myself especially symphatise with Tessa quite often.
The book has a great pace to it, not too quick, not too slow, a well crafted build up, it has the perfect amount of heart ache and just the right sprinkle of spice, angst and tension.
Henceforth, although aware there is a happy ending to come, you find yourself wondering and worrying, going through a plethora of emotions all through the read.
Atop there is one thing I like to add, I did very much enjoy the writing style of Lilly Henderson, it was an easy flow, beautiful vocabulary and it was all put in nicely in a way that has not left me as the reader confused or stuck while still educating me and expanding my own language skills. To me, as someone who has englisch as her third language this was very important even if this might not be an aspect everyone will understand.
Even though I am quite late on my review (life had me in chokehold!), I wish this lovely a wonderful release day and hope it will get the attention it deserves. It is a story I did suck up in one sitting!
Overall, I recommend this to everyone who enjoys romance, a good laugh, and is in dire need for a new book boyfriend. ;)

Lilly did it again! Every new book I read in this series I think this is my new favorite couple!
This third book follows Paul and Tessa.
Paul is part of the band with Henry (from book 2) and Jack (from book 4). He has a golden retriever and works as a teacher. When he was young he lost his sister.
One day he literally runs into Tessa, making her groceries fall on the ground, but they are in a hurry and go their own ways.
Tessa own a flower store and she takes care of her brother (14), because they lost their parents in a car accident.
Then Paul walks into her flower store and he decides it is fate. Then Tessa shows up at the bar where their band plays and it feels meant to be.
Tessa struggles with her feelings, because she also needs to take care of her brother who seems to be struggling at school, with puberty and the loss of his parents. And has a horrible ex boyfriend who left her because she decided to take care of her brother.
Will Tessa be able to trust Paul? Can Paul reassure her he is here to stay? Will she overcome the struggles between her and her brother?
I enjoyed this story a lot and couldn't put it down and finished it in 2 days! Now onto book 4 which will be released next week!

For the last eight years she’s been running her mom’s florist shop and looking after her brother, but after a chance encounter with a guy her happily ever after could finally be within reach. Paul is the perfect guy for Tessa and the attraction is instant, but will Tessa be able to let go and let herself fall for this perfect guy?
This is the second book I’ve read in this series and I found it just as entertaining and funny as the first. I really like the characters in this book and the entire series and think they all mesh perfectly together. The comedy in this book keeps this romance light hearted and fun even though both characters have baggage that’s on the heavier side. The chemistry and tension between Tessa and Paul is incredible and it makes this story so fun to read. I really enjoyed this book and think it would be great for anyone looking for a fun spicy romantic comedy.

Lilly Henderson has done it again! Thank you for creating another book I couldn't put down, and now that I've finished reading, I'm sad it's over.
Paul and Tessa's story is a fantastic addition to this amazing book series! Every story is sexy, sweet and romantic, whilst simultaneously ensuring every couple has a unique story. Each new book allows me to immerse myself in a new relationship that makes my heart melt and my knickers wet.
Paul and Tessas' story features light-hearted banter, heavy conversation, a cute dog, and a ton of sexual chemistry and tension. Main characters from her previous book feature along with characters I hope will get their own book in the future.
Until the next book in this series is released, I will be waiting impatiently while rereading the first three books in this series.

Until We Trust by Lilly Henderson is at this point my favorite of her Until series. While each of the books are capable of being read as standalones it is nice to have the completion of the cast. As always, pay special attention to trigger warnings. Lilly takes care with the issues she covers, but it's important to know your own limitations.
Tessa is by far my favorite of the female leads that have been written so far in this series. She is sassy, awkward and a natural homebody, in short a woman after my own heart. Paul won me over with his spectacular reactions to her awkwardness. For instance the nickname and constant fairy tale references. *swoon* Then he doesn’t hesitate to accept Sam, even utilizing his own secret weapon; Hank. Hank is after all the real charmer though as we could all guess!
Henderson gets better and better with each book. Anyone in search of a cozy romance with a guaranteed happy ending to block the horrors of reality, I wholeheartedly recommend Lilly Henderson. I can't wait to read book 4 and learn who wins Jack's heart.

What a sweet and emotional read (with a mix of spicyness as well)!
Tessa is a introvert and kind of insecure girl that had to grow up really fast when her parents died and she had to take care of her little brother. Since then, she always put his needs first and sometimes forgot how to live a little for herself.
Paul is a teacher and has the most sweet and special dog, and after an cute meet cute is hooked on Tessa. They beging their relationship and we can tell that Paul falls first and probably harder too!
Paul was such an adorable character! We was so sweet, caring, understanding, protective, lovable. He always thought about tessa's needs, even whe she didn't and showed her that what she felt and felt mattered too!
We all need a Paul in our lives!
Loved to reconnect with the previous characters, and to ignite the little flame about the new ones (Jack and Emma).. I can't wait for their story!

Once again Ms. Henderson gives us a fascinating, emotional and well-written story of two strangers, who were meant to meet. Until We Trust is a strangers-to-lovers romance that will warm your heart and have you swooning over Paul and wanting to give Tessa a big hug.
Paul and Tessa's paths were meant to cross. The more time they spend together the more they realize that they have a lot in common and are soulmates. Tessa has been the only guardian of her much younger brother since their parents died eight years ago. Her love life has not been one that has her trusting men and that has Paul having to work even harder to win her heart.
I loved this book from cover to cover. The characters were easy to relate to and the storyline kept my attention from start to finish. Paul and Tessa had to deal with real-life situations that were not easy, however, with the help of one another and friends, they were able to navigate them and find their HEA.

This was a touching story of two people going through journey of life experiencing to, love, trust, loss and grieve.
Tessa had to become a young parent to her teenage brother. After her ex she has decided it's best she just concentrates on raising her brother and her flower shop.
Paul is friends with Henry and is part of the band.
He really is a wonderful and caring man. He also sings at children hospital as it reminds him of his younger sister he lost.
He keeps meeting Tessa by chance and I love how he calls her Cinderella. He has decided this is fate and he wants to know more about her.
Tessa has forgotten to live for herself and Paul brings that out in her. I loved how he empowered her and helped in any way. It was shaky as she does trust easy but even she was struggling with their chemistry.
There are some drama, break up, found family, banter, love, emotional, loss, and steam.
I'm really interested in the next book. Can't wait

This was such a sweet, loving story, with a touch of emotional sadness. Your heart just goes out to Tessa and her brother Sam. The strength she needs to step up and raise her little brother when she was at the start of her adult life. It takes a lot to take on but she took that roll on with no regrets or questions.

First of all, I am kicking myself for not starting this series sooner! I was very graciously accepted into the ARC team for this book, and I had such a blast communicating with Lilly and the other ARC readers about Until We Trust.

Throughout the book, I was swooning and sighing and loving the spicy scenes. While this book can be read alone and the series can be read in any order, I was so enamored by Lilly’s world and writing that I’ve gone back to read the first two in the series.
Tessa and Paul are great leads and play well off each other, and the story itself is engaging and fun to read. If you want a sweet and spicy contemporary, the Until We series is an absolute must for your TBR.

When Lilly @author.lilly.henderson sent me her book, I started reading it on the same night just to read a few pages. Little did I know that it would get me hooked and read well past midnight! The story and plot were well-written, and the characters were lovable and swoon-worthy. The chemistry between Tessa and Paul was electric and effortless. Each of them have their own backstories, grief, and motivations that add depth to the story. Did I mention there was a right amount of spice 🌶 and adorable golden retriever 🐕 ? I was emotionally invested in Tessa and Paul's story and I love it!

I loved this book! Tessa (or Cinderella) was a quirky, fun, and relatable character, and Lilly Henderson did a stellar job developing her story and her life with her little brother. She set a solid stage for the Trust issues referenced in the title. Paul and his golden retriever were the exact match needed.
This book is the third title in a series but could be read standalone — which I did in this case. I will be going back to read the previous two books for greater understanding of who the various members of Tessa and Paul’s group of friends. I was also pleased to learn there will be a fourth title — cover reveal coming soon! This was an easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ for me!

After their parents died 8 years ago, Tessa has taken care of her brother. She missed out on a lot of the experiences that come with being a teenager and she has a hard time letting anyone in for fear of losing them. But then Paul enters her life and everything changes. He brings her back to life.
Many things happen on their journey of love that you must read.
But check trigger warnings.
I will read Lilly's other books in the series. I hope they are at least as good as Until we trust.

I was so excited to read the third book in the Until…series and I was not let down!! This was an emotional, funny, heartwarming and sexy read!
Tessa has her guard up when it comes to men but meeting Paul changes things for her. Paul manages to bring out a different side of Tessa and with that we get an intense and very steamy love story! 🥰
Paul and Tessa have both lost people close to them, which bonds them once realising they’ve been through heartbreak. This makes for an emotional read and there are a couple of sad moments about losing loved ones which are written really well.
There is alot of support from Pauls friends, who are in the first two Until… books. Tessa joins the gang and even takes part in a very funny girls night!! 😉

This book is book number 3 in the “Until” series, but it works just fine as a standalone if you haven’t read the previous two. Tessa and Paul have a series of coincidental run-ins that lead to a beautiful love story. Add in a teenage brother and a golden retriever that everyone adores, and it’s a perfect mix. Paul is a sweet, cinnamon roll MMC, Tessa is a strong (stronger than she realizes) FMC, and there’s just enough spice to make it sexy. If you like strangers to lovers, he falls first romances...this is one to put on your TBR immediately.

Not as spicy as promised
The story is great, I absolutely loved the characters but I have to say: based on the blurb I was expecting a lot more steam! I am not necessarily complaining, just stating that besides 3 or 4 hot scenes (including the epilogue) the rest of the book is pretty vanilla. Speaking of the epilogue, I loved it. Super sweet. It is really awesome when we get to see the characters years into the future. I recommend this book for people who want an easy romance to read.

This story was so great! Paul and Tessa were just amazing characters. If you’re looking for a book that’s sexy, funny, adorable, sweet – this one’s all of the above! Book Three of the Until Series, Until We Trust, was just indescribable. Paul and Tessa are strangers who literally crash into each other's lives. The attraction is instant, the banter is perfection, and the tension is high. When Tess finally gives into her desires, everything else falls into place. There will be tears shed and there will be laughter heard. Love this interconnected series and I can't wait for the next.

I loved Paul and Tessa! They were so great together and fit so seamlessly into each other's lives. I absolutely adored Hank (the dog) and Sam (Tessa's brother).
Another thing I really enjoyed was the sub-plot of Tessa and Sam's relationship. How this was affected by Tessa having a boyfriend and the struggles she faced being a parent to a younger sibling.
I really enjoy Lillys writing and find her books to be a great balance of sweet and spicy

It’s sugar and spice and all the things naughty and nice when it comes to Tessa and Paul in Until We Trust, the third installment of the Until Series by Lilly Henderson.
Layers of both characters are revealed in each chapter - their struggles like real life situations, and you feel you really get to know them. Henderson cleverly weaves the romance, plot, and characters together. Her writing is polished, witty, and superb!

I read this in one day because it was so good! I loved the chemistry and the ups and down that came with this spicy contemporary book. It’s hard to not enjoy their banter and the whirlwind of emotions that comes with the realistic setup that is presented in book. It’s so hard to not discuss without spoilers, but it is definitely worth a read.

I have enjoyed this series very much and this book definitely did not disappoint this reader. I really enjoy the authors way of writing. I really enjoyed reading about Tessa and Paul. I enjoyed these two characters very much. This story was a roller skating rink of emotions and I really enjoyed it from start to finish.
