Wilder Halverson has lived most of his adult life doing what makes him happy, even if it is a bit of an unconventional lifestyle. Now he’s back in Serenity Point for the winter months to work as a ski instructor to the rich at the nearby resort. Though he’s always lived with a “live in the moment” mindset, Wilder usually knows for certain that he’ll be flying away again in a few months. This time, however, that certainty isn’t as strong.

Does that mean he’s getting ready to settle down? Wilder isn’t sure how he feels about that.

Alexandra Corbyn has had her future planned out for as long as she can remember. She was going to be an Olympic gold medalist in figure skating. And she was well on her way to that future, until she wasn’t.

When her life imploded spectacularly, there was absolutely nothing the same when the dust settled. Which was why she’s landed in a small town in Idaho after living in a mansion with acreage on the other side of the country.

As Alexandra tries to figure out how she’s going move forward with her life, her path crosses Wilder’s. They are opposites in many ways, and he’s definitely not someone who would have ever been part of her plan in life. But since that plan is out the window, maybe, if she has the courage, she could fit him into whatever her new future is. Maybe…

Though Wilder wasn’t one to plan too far in advance, he never would have imagined someone as uptight as Alexandra Corbyn fighting into his future. Still, there’s something about her.

But can their vastly different personalities and approaches to life lead to anything long-term? Or were they just in each other’s lives for the winter season?

Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so

What a stellar rocket ship ride to the place God wanted Alexandra and Wilder to be. The future looks bright for this younger sibling of the Halverson gang. What I appreciate most about this series is how important each of them is and does not emphasize which ones are adopted and which ones are other than straight up Caucasian. I lost track a while ago and that s part of the beautiful God driven landscape.

You skate Through my Heart

Wilder and Lexi, two contrasting personalities, prove that opposites truly attract, especially on the ice. Their compelling love story captivates readers with its depth and authenticity. While the conflict keeping them apart might seem slightly contrived to those unfamiliar with professional figure skating, their chemistry and passion shine through.

The author skillfully weaves another engaging narrative in this series, drawing readers into the intricate world of the Halverson family. Her writing style creates an immersive experience that makes each character feel like a close friend, leaving readers eagerly anticipating the next installment.

This book is a delightful addition to the series, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a heartwarming and dynamic romance.

Ice Queen Falls for Santa

What a fantastic book. I just love Kimberly's books. She writes the most beautiful stories. All the way through her books are filled with story, I never get bored, some books even though they may be good all in all they get boring for a bit in the middle but not Kimberly her books are awesome with every sentence! Was so cool Lexi was training for the Olympics Well I was watching the Olympics. Great timing, right!
Don't miss the series each, book is just wonderful - awesome loving family.

Each of the books in the series has been wonderful, full of so much faith, inspiration and love! This story was a very special joy to read and see the way God and their lives came together in a journey of growth and discovery. Great characters and a story you can’t put down but seems like it ends too soon! Enjoy !!

Wilder - fantastic

This is a very enlightening story. Lexie is a great figure skater. However, an incident occurs that causes her to stop skating. She is forced to move. Here is where she meets Wilder. Two totally different personalities.
I enjoyed the aspect of the story that you can overcome heartaches if you put your faith in God. He can help guide you to a better place.
Looking forward to Zane's story. Another fantastic job Kimberly!!

This is one of the most unique romances I’ve ever read. It was beautiful to watch the friendship that developed between Wilder and Lexi, as well as the respect they had for the boundaries that each had set. But I also loved watching those boundaries loosen up as they each begin to realize what God was doing in their hearts. It might sound strange to say, but this was a very slow and gentle build to a romance.

Having had hints about Wilder Halverson in the first 6 books, it was great to finally read his story. Jordan does a great job with the flow of the plot. It was fun to read about the interactions of the characters I'd met before, and the new ones just add to the enjoyment. I like the emphasis on the need for communication, patience, and trust in relationships. Can't wait for the next book!

Ice Skating

With the Olympics going on right now - reading a book that features the Winter Olympics actually feels realistic.

Wilder was a bit of an unknown prior to this book. He's great! Alexandra was hard to like at first.

Wow! It took quite a few transitions.

I liked how Wilder was willing to make the changes in his life, and how his family held him accountable. I enjoyed especially how Lexi learned to stand up against Mik, Irina, and Lev.

Wilder and Lexi

Lexi was 1/2 of a famous ice skating couples, that wasn’t her until her dad and coach stole from everyone involved with her Olympic gold medal. And her dad stole her gold medal too. And the story begins. Enjoy

Another heartwarming story by Kimberly Rae Jordan! I really enjoyed getting to know Wilder and Lexi. Their relationship felt realistic and relatable, as did their character growth (individually and together). Plus, I also love Olympic figure skating so it was a fun thing to explore through Lexi.

Great story

An Olympic medalist skater arrived to work @ the rink. She felt broken and unsure after the tumult her life became. In this story, she learns to shine with the Halverson acceptance and friendship.

Finding God’s love

I loved this story because of how we get caught up in our own hurt feelings we cover up feelings we don’t want people to see. But God has way putting someone else in our pathway who is struggling the same way.
