This is a slightly goofy sci Fi book for fans of stories like Lubar's Emperor of the Universe series, or other over-the-top special school stories like Salane's Lawless series or Buckley's N.E.R.D.S. books. I love de la Cruz's Blue Bloods books, but I will probably pass on this series, since my students aren't reading a lot of fantasy books right now, and I have a lot of them.
