This book was written in 1998 but it is sufficiently well written that it is as good an introduction to contrarian investing as any.
The problem with contrarian investing is following the sort of ideas espoused in this book (or any other similar book) will not set you apart from the crowd. You need to come up with your own ideas and can only use a book such as this for inspiration.
