An unnamed protagonist is recruited by a military research facility to help rear an enigmatic being, known as T.I.M., from across the great beyond. She is an artist enlisted to unmask the mystical facets of T.I.M. through artistic exploration. She grows a heartfelt attachment and kinship with him unfettered by her role as researcher and observer. He eventually matures and the time comes for T.I.M. to be born. But will she be allowed to leave after all she has been privy to? A massive battle ensues that will decide whether or not she will get to see T.I.M. one last time before his emergence.Author’s This is a short story based on a dream.
