Some things in herer look cute, but unfortunately, they were not all photographed well -- thus, it was hard at times to really tell what the finished item would look like.
If you are looking for some retro 80's knits then this is the book for you. But if you're more into trendy modern now knits, then you just pass on this one. Patterns for bags of different sizes, shrugs, poncho style wraps and hats. I did knit up the Quick-to-knit earflap hat which was quick (they give the estimated knitting time which was great!) and cute, but choose a washable chunky yarn because I made the mistake of using a delicate hand wash only single ply chunky hand dyed yarn which was not a good idea because it was too complicated to wash and it pilled up. Just borrow the book like I did. 160 pages and borrowed from the library 2 stars
This book has a lot of easy and quick knitting projects. It's very easy to read - meaning the firs page of the pattern lists all the essential information you would need before you begin to knit. This is one that I would like to purchase for myself.
I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it. It had some nice easy patterns that didn't require pages of instructions. These could also be accomplished in a weekend.
Patterns for large size knits and needles thus they can go fairly quickly. I'm giving few stars because I personally didn't find anything I want to make.
