An interesting read, although had to take a few things with a grain of salt due to the time it was written. Voodoo as Satanism? Not if you're informed about it.
Nonetheless, still good if you want to look at the ways the Devil and his minions have transformed in the minds of authors from the biblical times up to 1930 (when the book was published).

Interesting combination of mythology and folk lore concerning the bogeyman of Christianity.
