For the life of me I can not understand why Kris Kennedy isn't more popular. I guess it could be due to the medieval genre not being popular right now, but boy howdy are people missing out. I love love her books,(The Irish Warrior my favorite and reviewed https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ) her writing style kind of reminds me of Teresa Medeiros. Anyway, per the usual with her, this book was great.

As much as I love reading her books, I hate reviewing them because her plots are so intricate, complex, and a thing of beauty that I'm left flummoxed trying to create an articulate summary.
This particular story involves Kier, a man who worked with Sophia's father for a corrupt group of merchants and Lords, who Sophia loved. Sophia has been in hiding due to a ledger that details these corrupt merchant and lord doings and everyone thinks is in her possession. Sophia and Kier have not seen each other for five years. Everyone wants the ledger and Kier wants vengeance for what was done to him five years ago. This story is a swirling vortex of betrayal, lies, and underhanded deceit.

Kier and Sophia meet up after the five years and what follows is labyrinthine plan developed by Kier to exact revenge on individuals who did him wrong. Sophia's added presence alternately helps and hinders as her life and well-being are wrapped up in this crazy cat and mouse game with the ultimate stakes not only concerning Kier and Sophia but England's very future.

I also feel it very important to note that not only does the action suspense stakes keep rising as the story goes on but also the sexual tension and bedroom scenes. Hot damn did I have to fan myself a couple times. Their sexytime was heavy on the sexy.

The story starts off mysterious, with the reader being given just crumbs of information, sags a bit in the middle, then speeds up to a fantastic finish.
Little nitpicks would be we don't get to see Kier and Sophia fall in love because they did 5years ago, a lot of players in the game can get confusing, and beginning is a little choppy leading to it being harder to stick with but it's worth it. Trust me! I'm a doctor!*

Read for a great tight plot, mentions of real life historical figures!, medieval times!, and characters that not only have the chemistry but the clever dialogue.

3.5/5. A second-chance Medieval Romance where deception is the name of the game and trust and loyalty can get you killed. Kier was doing some dirty deeds for one of the most powerful men in England until he was betrayed. As the daughter of a shady merchant, Sophia was privy to many secrets. When Kier seduced her with words of love and then abruptly disappeared, she was forced to wed another. Now a widow and with unfinished business with the mighty and ruthless Commenda, she did not expect to have to join forces with the newly reemerged and very vengeful Kier. KK can spin a powerful yarn with strong characters, but this one went on a bit too long and got too tangled in the complexity of its plot. The romance took second place to the convoluted revenge story and my brain was too tired to keep track of the long list of who double-crossed whom.

“Well, that was exciting, aye?”
“Dear God,” she whispered...

Sa-woon! Yes, Kier. Yes it's everything exciting!

What can I say? I lurve Kris Kennedy's medieval romances, where men are men and women are extraordinary.

Set in the late 13th century, Deception, aptly named, is a nail-biting tale of deception and double-cross set amidst greed, villainy, and high treason.
Kier and Sophia meet unexpectedly after five years apart. They've buried their younger selves' history down deep.
Hardened and guarded by manipulations, experiences, and circumstances, has left them on two different courses: one seeks justice and one seeks revenge. They both seek a ledger.
Other than in their dreams neither one thought they would ever see each other again, let alone find that their paths converge in the dead of night at the front door of Tomas Moneychanger.
I really, really love a second chance story that is not a cookie cutter formula.
What is so refreshing about Kier and Sophia, is that they don't even care to try to trust each other. They are two completely changed individuals on two completely different goal paths.
Yes, of course they are attracted to each other. (Thank goodness for us!)
Yes, of course they manipulate each other without remorse...they will not let anything or anyone get in the way of attaining what they have both worked so hard to achieve.
And they are not above a little deception to get there ;) In this, they are equally matched. Refreshing.
It's when they both realize that no matter how much they don't want each other they begin to rely and trust each other, bit by bit. This slow seduction back to each other is natural and poignant. Nice.
I read the 2012 version of Deception, and rated it 4*
While that was a very well written story, it's clear that KK has matured as a writer.
Deception 2017 shows real depth in character development and multiple plots...I also think that the author has introduced at least one additional secondary character toward the end of the book. Nice.
As far as our hero and heroine are concerned...sawoonworthy dynamics and hotness off the charts.
I mean...ice, ice baby!!!
Plus, the author doesn't try to interject a modern feel to her banter btwn the H/h, yet it "feels" believable, witty, and real to me. That sez a lot. Cause nothing feels forced or cheesy. Nice.
And did I mention there is action? Yup. They are in league with swashbuckling danger at every turn, power plays are countered, and you are never really sure who is the good guy...and that goes for our hero and heroine. Plus? Things get blown up ;)
To paraphrase Sophia, "Let us go wreck your mayhem, Kier." Nice.
Five solid stars. Well done, dear author, well done.

4.5 Stars. This is going on my Best-of-2012 list, and no one could be more surprised than me! I didn't make it very far into Kris Kennedy’s first novel, The Irish Warrior, and I was hesitant when this one showed up unsolicited for review. But I'm happy to say that Ms. Kennedy has come a long way in three novels, and I was really impressed with Deception.

England, 1294. After five years spent living a quiet life in hiding as a minor silk merchant in a minor town, Sophia Darnly’s on the run for her life. Her father’s nefarious past has found her, and the man he betrayed will stop at nothing to get his hands on the fabled Darnly ledger. Sophia doesn’t have the ledger, but she knows who does, and when she breaks into Tomas the Moneychanger’s office in the middle of the night to retrieve it, she’s not terribly surprised to discover she’s not the only one there to steal it, but the other thief’s identity shocks her.

Kier. The man to whom she gave herself—body, heart, and soul—and who walked out of her life five years ago and never looked back. Tall, dark, and sexy Kier, looking as good as he always did and still making Sophia’s heart flutter, much to her dismay. What she doesn’t know is that Kier has spent the past five years coming back from the dead, and planning his revenge on the men who tried to kill him, and those men just happen to be the same men after Sophia and her ledger.

After a little bit of cat and mouse and a whole lot of sexual tension, the former lovers agree to work together to bring down the powerful ring of corrupt merchants who wronged them both, and who are continuing to wrong their King on the eve of war. As Sophia and Kier infiltrate the commenda, setting the various stages of their bold and dangerous plan in motion, drawing a net around their prey, the stakes get higher and higher, and their passion sizzles off the charts. But is it safe to trust in a relationship based on revenge, or to trust in each other in a world based on greed, fortune, and temptation?

This book has all the hallmarks of a winner for me: great characters, a tight plot, an atmospheric historical setting, and of course, true love. And smokin’ hot sex. I was hooked from the first page and could not put it down. I loved the characters and their relationship, and I really liked that the time period and story were so different from just about any other romance I’ve read. It’s got a fast-paced plot that kept me on my toes and there was a wicked twist I didn’t see coming. I’m bumping this down a notch because I think the writing style is on the choppy side, but it was easy to overlook in the face of such a gripping and satisfying story.

I was really impressed with this medieval historical romance. It was quite different from the norm, and didn't really follow the regular formula of historical romances. The writing style was very different, almost lyrical in some places which made for a really romantic read.

Kier wasn't totally my type of hero, he was a little too alpha for me, but I still liked him. His alpha personality was balanced well with Sophia's strength, so he never seemed too overbearing or anything. She had too much strength in her own right to let him turn her into a pushover. There were still a lot of really romantic lines that were positively swoon-worthy, and showed that they were both mushy romantics underneath their armor.

The beginning focused a lot on the setting and setting up the mystery, so I thought the book would be slow, but once the romance started, the pages just flew by and it was a really quick and addictive read. I enjoyed this one a lot more than the author's first book, Defiant, in which I felt the romance never really started going at full steam. I think in this book, the language and story were much more relatable instead of going for the over the top medieval language and feel like the first book did. I'm looking forward to her next book after enjoying this one so much.

Fans of medieval romance, alpha heroes, and strong heroines are going to love this book! Can't wait to read her next romance!

Love this author. I can always count on her to tell a well spun story. No exception here, the writing is wonderful, giving the characters and action dimension but the story, as well as it was told did not hold my attention. I found it hard to believe that no one recognized Kier and Sophia, or maybe that Kier and Sophia thought no one would recognize them and their history to see right through their deception and honestly I lost patience. I am all for angst but not when its so obvious you know the characters are in a no-win situation and the story didn't draw me in enough to have my curiosity over-ride the nagging annoyance at the game they were playing. That said, I possibly was not in the right mindset for this type of story and have put it on my re-read pile to make sure I am fair in my review. As I said, Kris Kennedy writes wonderfully colorful, hearty stories set in a time of a more elegance, even for the impoverished, so reading anything by her is never a waste.

Kier & Sophia's story was just wonderful. Torn apart, years earlier, by her father's lies, they are given a second chance at love. But, this will depend on whether they can learn to trust each other, again, and if they can make it through alive.

This book was the perfect balance of romance, suspense, danger, intrigue, double-crosses and reconciliation. The plot line moved at a quick pace and kept me captivated throughout. The characters were engaging and really drew you into their stories. I can hardly wait to see what Kennedy has in store for readers, next!

Such a fantastic Medieval Romance!! From the beginning it grabs your attention and your heart and keeps you glued to the pages. Fast paced, well written story with suspense, a bit of humor, plenty of action, passion and palpable danger, makes DECEPTION a thrilling and intriguing tale . Add in a mixture of revenge, a second chance romance, and you will find yourself turning pages, hoping all ends well for the two main characters. Powerful, thrilling and a must read by Kris Kennedy.
I received a complimentary copy, however, all opinions are my own.

Normally I love historical romances, but I just couldn't really get into this one. The characters are interesting enough, with a hard-headed Sophia who can really hold her own around dark and dangerous men. Kier is your typical bad boy on the outside and softy on the inside. He works in a dirty trading business set on revenge, but he has a soft spot in his heart for Sophia.

Sophia and Kier have a past that's not really clear to the reader, but we know that they used to be together, but something happened to split them up. Now, they're brought back together by mysterious ledger that outlines the most dangerous, scandalous trades in Europe. But the ledger isn't the only thing causing trouble with Kier; it's the fiery Sophia who seems even more hot-headed and irresistible than before.

The story itself was just okay, but things tended to be a bit jumpy and lagging. Some parts dragged on while others happened too fast, so it was hard to put everything together without getting a little confused. Sophia and Kier did have a nice steamy relationship, but I think it would have been even better if we got a better sense of their past other than what was revealed half way through the book.

I still loved the time period and the mystery/suspense of Sophia and Kier trying to take revenge on those who had done them wrong, but I just feel like there could have been more to the book. The author's writing style was also a little hard to follow at times, If the storyline was more clear and the plot wasn't so jumpy, this would have been a really great book. If you like historical romances, I would say to give this book a shot, but it's definitely not for everyone.

The only chance Sophia Darnly has of staying alive is to retrieve her father’s ledger and somehow get it to the King. For years she kept record of her father’s dealings, hoping that one day she will be able to stop the men who pray like vultures on the unfortunate.

Burn scars crisscrossing Kieran’s body serve as a daily reminder of why his plan for revenge must succeed. The man he is after must be stopped, and Kier will make it happen one way or another.

Seeing Kier again after so many years is almost more than Sophia can take with everything else going wrong right now. She will not however stand by while he takes on the very men who have stolen her life. Kier wants Sophia as far away from danger as he can get her, yet the harder he tries to push her away the closer they become. Sophia can barely trust her own heart let alone Kier's, all of that will mean nothing however if they cannot stay one step ahead of a very cunning and dangerous enemy.

The energy that pulses between Sophia and Kier is as palpable as the sweltering heat pressing down on them. Sophia is a force of nature, wickedly smart, beautiful, and with a heart of gold, everything she does is done with passion. I love that Kier repeatedly has to stand back and just admire the radiance that is Sophia. Kris Kennedy does it right when it comes to historical romance with characters that are open, expressive, and truly fun to read.

I one-click any book by Kris Kennedy, my favorite historical author, because of her beautiful prose, heart-stopping sexual tension, and swoon-worthy heroes. I was not disappointed with Deception. When you read a book of hers, you aren't just going on a journey, you are going on a journey with a world class view. Her prose shapes her compelling story between these star-crossed lovers, Sophia brave, beautiful, and broken-hearted and Kier, the dark and sexy Irishman set out for revenge.

I don't want to give away too many details, but your panties will MELT and melt again with the chemistry between these two. Here's a sample of the prose I'm referring to. "But when his gaze locked on her mouth, as it did often, as it was right now, it was as if he'd dragged a burning cord across her body. And then she knew she could reach him. His desire for her was the only unlocked thing about him. It was heady knowledge. Frightening. For if she went in, she knew she would never come back out."

I seriously cannot get enough Kris Kennedy books. Every time I finish a book of hers, my only complaint is that the book is over. Her books are my addiction, my chocolate, my reason for sleepless nights. More, more, more!

Deception does not deceive! This was a PHENOMENAL book,5 super stars!!
Kris Kennedy has totally rocked my socks off!
Kier and Sophia, Sophia and Kier hate you love you - they go back and forth but the chemistry between them oh my goodness does it scorch the pages.🔥🔥🔥
Kier otherwise known as The Irishman de Grey is a criminal. The middle man, the coercer for Cosimo Endolte a man no one ever double crossed and lived to tell the tale.
Things are about to get very hot for Kier, betrayed by the father of the woman he loves -Sophia Darnly- he’s left tied in a shed and left to be burned alive by Cosimo.
Survival and revenge are the only things on his mind but his heart hardens, his love for Sophia buried deep in his hearts crevices.
Fast forward five years, his revenge is slowly starting to develop and then he gets a hiccup....Sophia comes back into his life with a vengeance!!! The woman who he never stopped loving. She’s a force to be reckoned with believing that he used and abandoned her. This time she’s not going to fall for the handsome devil, the bastard, the heartbreaker the only man she ever loved!

I’m so in LOVE with Kier he’s dark, mysterious and oh so sexy! Sophia and him together were fire and oil they combusted! Lots of mystery, intrigue some tense full moments. There’s backstabbing and plenty of danger and twists did I mention the hotness? This was one awesome read Kris Kennedy has masterfully created a winner, fast paced and entertaining! Bring on the next one Kris Kennedy.

Irishman Kier’s job once was enticing wealthy, unscrupulous men into dealings with other wealthy, unscrupulous men until he was betrayed and left for dead. Now five years later he’s a man on a mission of revenge, and the men who once betrayed him are about to pay. He’s got everything planned except the one thing he never expected Sophie Darnley the woman he loved and left behind. Sophia Darnly is stunned by the reappearance of the outlaw lover who abandoned her years ago, who left her behind when he ran off without her. She has the documents Kier needs to bring down the most damning details about the wealthiest men in England. She has no other choice when she turns to Keir for help when she’s being hunted by these dangerous men. Fiery Sophie still has powerful feeling for Kier, but he has no time for anything but revenge. He knows she’s the one thing who can bring everything crashing down in this game that could get them both killed. A great story filled with passion, betrayal, secrets and lies that affect Sophie and Keir’s lives but also the future of England as well.

What would you give up for love? Kier knew that he couldn't give Sophia the life that she wanted. He believed that they could have a life but what kind of life would it be always looking over the shoulders. He is given a second chance at life and he has to run and plan his revenge. Sophia was forced to marry another man and it wasn't a kind marriage but she was really good at keeping books and she wrote everything deal down. She has escaped with the ledger but she thinks that someone will help her get the book to the King so that the man that has arranged all these deeds will be brought to justice. Kier can't believe that it is Sophia and he knows that she is been hunted can he keep her safe this? Their relationship is filled with passion and complications. Can Sophia ever trust Kier again, he broke her heart when he left her can she protect her break again or is it too late for that? Can Kier give up his life of criminal means to support Sophia and just have a normal quiet life? He doesn't know if he could give up everything that she wants and needs. The closer they get to getting what they both wanted so does the danger. Who can they trust anymore and can they trust each other again? A great read full of action and passion.

Kier is Irish and has no conscious. After the head of the consortium felt Kier had betrayed him, he had him put into a shack and burnt it to ground. Sophia Darnly is out to keep herself alive if possible. Kier has a scam going.
This is a very unusual story. The descriptions were good and gave you the background, so you can imagine yourself in the tale. The characters were fun but also very animated and full of life. Kier wants revenge and to destroy Cosimo. But he also wants to protect Sophia. There is murder, danger, intrigue and kidnapping. It did keep me on the edge of my chair, in places. It got a little slow in spots but picked right up again. I enjoyed seeing everyone scramble for the one item, they( the bad guys) wanted.

This is a fabulous tale set in medieval England with corruption, treachery and a good dose of romance. Someone is trying to get their hands on Sophia's late Fathers ledger, where his dealings with corrupt merchants has been noted, and they will do anything to get it, even kill Sophia. Kier, used to work for Sophia's father until those same men made him an outlaw, now he's back and wants vengeance. Sophia never forgave Kier, the man she loved, from running from her, but now he's back and she needs his help.

This grabbed my attention from the start and I couldn't put it down, the characters have a wonderful chemistry together, loved it.

Notes: I received the book from the publisher.

My Synopsis:
Sophia Darnly's world was tumbling down around her. She'd tried to escape her past, but the past has a habit of coming back to bite you. Her father, once a respected Judge, had been found to be corrupt and had been executed for his crimes. Sophia had gone into hiding and had married. Her husband, however, had died a year ago and now someone was coming after her, or more specifically, after her father's ledger. A ledger reputed to contain a detailed account of the corrupt dealings that transpired between her father and those rich and powerful men who had bribed him.

Even though almost four years had passed since his death, there is still pertinent information documented in the ledger which could be used as a potential weapon. Someone wants that information and has burnt down Sophia's silk factory to make a point that they meant business. If she doesn't hand over the ledger she'll forfeit her life. So after several attempts to retrieve the ledger from Tomas Moneychanger, a ledger which was rightfully hers, she finally decided to resort to stealing it. That's where she unexpectedly ran into someone from her past. Someone who five years ago left without a goodbye and had broken her heart.

Kieran (aka Kier) was also looking for the ledger. It was part of his plan to exact vengeance on the man who had once wronged him in the worst way. Kier had set up an elaborate scheme which featured a mysteriously absent benefactress who owned a shipping company named Mistral Company. It transported luxury goods and was looking for clients and financial backing. The story was that Kier was Lady Mistral's factor (broker) and confidant. He planned to destroy the man who had once tried to destroy him. He knew him well enough to know how he worked, for he had once worked beside him. What he didn't expect was for Sophia to accidentally, through a misunderstanding, fall into the role of Lady Mistral. The two, who did not trust each other, were about to combine their resources and talents in an attempt to get what each of them wants--revenge for him and a way to stay alive for her. They say the enemy of my enemy is my friend. The question in these circumstances, however, is whether or not their shared past will get in the way?

My thoughts:
Ms. Kennedy has spun an intricate web of danger, deception, lies and secrets that all her characters are entangled in. Cosimo Endolte is the spider at the center who at times devours those around him. He is the Councilor to the King and described as being, "all but invisible, conducting his deals and seeing to his interests via a web of intermediaries and agents that would make a spider proud." Slowly we see the threads cut and those caught in Cosimo's web freed of their bindings as each new secret is unveiled.

Sophia is the type of character you have to admire. She doesn't get easily flustered and keeps her head when things go wrong. When figuratively one door closes, she looks to unlock another. A lesser woman would not handle all that's been thrown at Sophia as well as she does. She's smart, she's adaptable, and a touch stubborn. In some ways she's gullible, but she learns from her mistakes. She should never be underestimated and Kier knows well enough not too. While he wishes she'd never gotten involved in his scheme, he knows an asset when he sees it. Her father had raised her well in the arts of deception and he'd use everything he could to his advantage.

Kier is the son of a pirate and at age 13 he left that life and ventured out on his own. He's smart, crafty and loyal to those he deems worthy which are few and far between. Five years ago he'd been an integral part of the Cosimo's inner circle, but due to a disagreement Kier had been marked for death. If you disagree with or betray Cosimo you are seldom given a second chances. But one of Cosimo's faults is hubris. He thinks he's above reproach. That is what Kier is counting on to be his downfall.

The chemistry between Kier and Sophia is sizzling hot. Probably more than most because they'd once been in love,or so Sophia had thought. My favorite description of Kier is when Sophia walks in on him half naked as he's in the midst of exercising:
Without turning his head, he said, "What is it, Sophia?" He lowered his body down again.
She yanked her jaw shut, "I was...I thought to inquire..."
His hair, untethered, fell across his cheek as he turned to look up at her, one palm still overturned at the small of his back. He was covered in a magnificent sheen of sweat.
The perspiration covering her was not magnificent. It was hot and uncomfortable, but he, he looked like a Greek statue in the rain. His arms and back were contours of sculpted muscle.

Overall I gave this one 5 out of 5 roses. I absolutely loved it. I loved the characters and finding out the many secrets as they were revealed. I was caught in the web of this tale which had layers to it that were uncovered as the story progressed. I also enjoyed finding out what really happened to Kier all those years ago that took him away from Sophia. A truly delightful read. I will definitely be reading more books by this author. On the Lisarenee Romance Rating Scale, this one scores a STEAM rating--too hot for a fan, but you still have a handle on things. You should use extreme caution when reading a book with this rating in public. People may inquire as to why you looked flustered and flushed.

This story has a little of it all! Suspense, intrigue, romance, danger, and even an Irishman! Irishman Kier has led a deceptive life, dealing with many unscrupulous men and has made a living. Now, betrayed by the very men he dealt with, he is determined to seek revenge. But the reappearance of Sophia Darnly, changes everything. Once lovers until Kier abandoned her, she holds a document that could get her killed by the same men Kier is trying to bring down. Can a prior relationship bring them together to help each other. Or will Kier stay the seemingly selfish person he had become? This story will keep you on the edge and have you turning the pages until the end. A great read.

Although this book takes place in medieval times, it reads like a modern day mob story, complete with a very evil mob boss, enforcers, and a Mafia princess. Kier was a powerful enforcer, at least until he fell for the princess. Then his problems really escalated. Five years later they meet again, each trying to deny their feelings for each other. Circumstances put their very lives in danger even as they try to bring down the mob boss, Cosimo. This is a very fast paced storyline, filled with intrigue and danger. If you enjoy a book that keeps your interest from start to finish, then this one is for you. I received this ARC eBook from the author for an honest review.

Love with second chance

4 stars as I didn’t like quite as well as first book Claiming Her. To me it started a little slow, but if you stay with it it is well worth your time. It had lots of adventure, nail biting intrigue, romance, and romantic love making. I liked both H/h, they were both strong, but troubled with pasts. Last half I couldn’t put it down, had to see what happened next. I don’t like to go into every detail, as you can get that from description of book. I enjoyed it very much, and would highly recommend it. She is one of my favorite authors, and starting to read next book by her. Don’t miss out on books by her.

I loved this book! Adventure, intrigue, theft, love, passion, forgiveness. This book has it all. Deception, of course. Deceptions of thieves amongst thieves, deceptions of family members, yes, but more importantly in this story is the deception that Kieran (H) tries against Sophia (h) - tries to keep his true self hidden from her, tries to keep his feelings of love from her. She, of course, fouls that up with her love for him, as all good h's do. Masterfully written, you won't want to put it down.
I received an ARC of this book, and am very grateful, as it was an exceptional read.

Another great read from Kris Kennedy.
Kris has a way of of making you love the antihero and wanting them to win in the end. She does it again with Kier de Grey.
Sophia and Kier once loved each other but lies told by her father drove them apart. Five years later they meet again and struggle to trust.
I will let you read to find out if they find their way to a HEA.
This book has it all action, lies, lust...I couldn't put it down.

A beautifully written medieval romance. Kris Kennedy has completely captured the excitement and piracy of this era. Roguishly handsome, but damaged Keir and his fiery and beautiful Sophie make a combustible pair who have to fight hard to stay together. This is truly a page turner and i found I couldn't put the book down, reading long into the night. I very much look forward to reading more from this talented author. Well done Kris Kennedy.

I was hooked from beginning to end on this medieval romance. Kier is out for revenge but will the woman he never stopped loving ruin his plans? This story is fast-paced with tons of drama, suspense and intrigue. Kier and Sophia are great characters and their chemistry is steamy. I was up into the wee hours of the morning as I couldn’t put it down. A great read!

Revenge

After five years, a pirate seeks revenge for the men who left him to die. Now the woman he's always love stands in the way of his revenge, or does she stand by his side seeking her own? The love scenes are exceptionally vivid, intense and will singe your fingers as you turn the page. Kennedy knows how to write and keep you enthralled.

I'm a huge fan of Kris Kennedy's writing. This one didn't quite measure up to the other Rogue books in the series, which I loved, but only because I didn't much like the story line. It was a lot of murder and intrigue - not my thing. I did come to love the characters and persevered through the story to see the happy ending. Some very sensuous and creative love scenes in this one.

I read the other reviews and from my point, it was fantastic. I loved the passion and the cunning mind of a young man planning to destroy those who did him wrong. The adventure the two of them concocted. I couldn't put it down. This is my second book I read of her and it's damm good girl.

Kier and Sophia

If you like books about thieves, criminals, pirates, and moneychangers. Then this book is for you. Kier is a rogue embroiled in crime. Sophia keeps the accounts of some very bad men. How they make it out alive is a twisting turning confusion.
