I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.

I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.

Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.

In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.

Of all the White Haven Witches books, this was my least favourite, and I'm disappointed by it.
The story felt rushed and not as catchy as the stories in the previous books. The coven was basically never together except for brief instants; it was scattered all around, and it made me miss their connection and bond, which was clear and present in the previous books. Moreover, there were WAY too many POVs! I liked both the beginning of the saga, where we only had Avery's POV, and later, when we started having a POV for each member of the coven, but now it's too much. Pretty much every single character in the book has a POV: the coven, the nephilim, Ghost OPS, random people in London...

I didn't enjoy the parts in London either. They took away from the main story and added nothing, while other well-liked characters from the previous books were completely absent or barely named.
I feel this was written in a rush, just to publish it as soon as possible, and as someone who was looking forward to it, I was left unsatisfied.

A little spoiler - do not read if you haven't read the book

Sorry for the lengthy negative review. I loved all the other books, but this was a no for me. Hopefully, the next books will be back on track!

The 13th book in the White Haven Witches series will certainly be a lucky number for
T J Green. It’s fast moving and filled with lots of magic and action!

Sacred Magic cleverly weaves the characters, both old and new together in order to break a complex spell which has been put on a new witch in town, whose name is Morwenna.

The witches from the Cornwall Coven, the Nephilim, Caspian, Newton and the Paranormal Team all join forces to help break this horrible spell which is really tasking the White Haven Witches and slowly hurting Morwenna.

Enter some extinct creatures.. Dragons, but first they need to be tracked down which proves to be very difficult and not without a fight and lots of magic. Someone else wants to control these creatures too and will put up enormous barriers to keep hold of them.
Avery who is an Air witch begins to work very closely with Caspian another Air witch. Will they find a cure in time to save Morwenna?

To make matters more complex; whilst all this action is going on, there is a Wedding to plan….. yes, Reuben and El are tying the knot.

Another great read from T J Green. Fast moving and a book that is hard to put down.

Ostara is almost here and a long awaited wedding is being planned for the day, however the Whitehaven witches are in for a few turbulent days before being able to celebrate their friends wedding. A fellow witch from a neighbouring coven has been cursed, and our group have been asked to help out, furthermore dragon eggs have been stolen. Now dragons do not exist in the human realm so how on earth are there dragon eggs, and why were these stolen? They seem to have turned up somewhere in Cornwall so once again the Whitehaven group of witches, the paranormal police force and the students of the paranormal are up to their necks trying to locate these mysterious eggs which according to Shadow, our fey mistress, are from the otherworld, same as herself. When our witches battle therians the fast paced and thrilling action is full on. This book is one of the most exciting by far, many characters are called in to help in their own specialised ways as well as new characters appear on the scene. Book 13 is a must read for all those who love magic and woohoo dragons too!!

Page turner for sure! I was caught up in trying to unravel the various plot lines the White Haven witches were involved in and figuring out how they would come together. The town is still having lingering effects from the events of Midwinter Magic - lingering effects of what some suspect was more than a dream. Into this comes a new witch forced to wander, dryads, who may be planning more than they admit to, and what appears to be a mythical stolen dragon egg. Nothing is as it appears, and everything is fraught with danger. This one had some really good twists - some funny, some frightening, some heartbreaking.

Book 13 in the White Haven Witches series, I highly recommend reading these books in order as there is a large cast of characters and it is easy to get lost if you have not been getting to know them over the previous books. The main plot is fully contained in this book though it does pick up threads from previous books and drop hints for subsequent ones.

Lucky Number 13. This latest instalment in the White Haven Witches series is bursting at the seams with mystery and magic and just a little romance. There are three main plot lines here intertwined with the run up to Ostara and El and Reuben's Handfasting Ceremony. The story is written from multiple points of view and this makes the suspense more thrilling as it leaves characters hanging on mini cliff hangers as we move to a different part of the story. The world that TJ has created is fully formed now that we are so many books in and all the characters that we know and love from White Haven are there including the Nephilim and some new faces, along with cameos from characters from other books in the universe. The plots were well thought out and wound around each other nicely. I love the roller coaster ride that is a TJ Green book, filled with magic, mayhem and mystery.

This is another wonderful storyline. With plans made for the Handfasting, everything is organised and ready for the ceremony. Ostara is the next main event in Whitehaven. Two hunters come down to chat with the coven to see if they can help them, as they have helped before. Dragon eggs have been stolen from a collector and he is paying them well to find and return them. The witches draw on the help from Newton and the Nephilim, the Cornwall Coven and friends in London. They are all in for a surprise....
A new witch in the area asks for their help. She knows something is badly wrong but she can't find what it is, she is unsettled and unhappy.
Yet another book to keep you up at night as you can't put it down. Happy reading.

Each book in this series is every bit as enthralling as the last. I love the way that the witches develop their powers more, and learn more about themselves and what they are capable of.
There are new mysteries to unravel and plenty of peril for the witches and all of their friends, with the three D’s - dryads, dragons and danger, taking centre stage. Threaded through the story is the upcoming handfasting of Reuben and El, which is a happy counterpoint to darker events. You are left with the feeling that there are intriguing storylines here that will be explored further in the future, which I cannot wait for.

I am a huge fan of TJ Green’s books especially the White Haven Witches, I can’t believe that we are on book 13.
Sacred magic had me on the edge of my seat, with a story full of dragons. What’s more this one had all the characters from White Haven featured in, with guest appearances from our London favourites. With 3 story entwined this must be one of the best. Who doesn’t love a story filled with magic, mystery and love.
Overall, it was a fantastic book, and without any spoilers my favourite line from the book. “Newton blinked, thinking he was seeing things. “By the Gods! She really is in a dress!”

WOW! Just finished this - (in two sittings!) actually couldn't put it down - grabbed me straight away and as usual was not disappointed. A fabulous magical read as always but just loved how intricate and wonderful the story was - and included dragons my favourite things in the world.

Weaving together some new partnerships (Morwenna & Caspian?), sorting out some older ones, everyone working together to free Morwenna from the curse, wedding plans and fabulous descriptions of places and people in more detail - I'm just reeling with delight and pleasure at the skill of this superb author.

I can't wait for the next one as always.

I loved this book in fact I love all the books by this author. They are all a pleasure to read and you feel you are reading about friends. This book didn’t disappoint, it was packed with different things happening and also brought together all our favourite characters. We have a cursed witch, with a very difficult and dangerous curse to break. The dryads are up to no good and must be stopped. We have 2 hunters of magical artefacts asking for help to find some dragon’s eggs that have been stolen. All this whilst the wedding of El and Ruben is about to take place. A really great read.
Well worth the 5 stars.

As always, TJ Green has created an exciting and fast moving story with curses, Dragon Eggs and an upcoming handfasting. The story is written from multiple points of view and each story was intertwined with the others and included the Whitehaven Witches, together with Shadow, the Nephilim Hunters, and the Occult Dealers from London. It also introduced a new character who I am sure will be incorporated into future stories. It is definitely a book that will transport you to another realm and makes for an epic read that should not be missed.

Sacred Magic….i had read this book in weekly instalments and re read it again completely! I still held my breath at the end of certain chapters even though I knew what was coming! The pace is kept up throughout whether you are with one group of witches investigating dragon eggs or another, trying to remove a very nasty curse from a new arrival to Whitehaven. Is she all she says? And Caspian is rather bewitched by her making me very suspicious of this new witch! There are no spoilers here, you’ll have to buy the book and practise your breathing! Well done TJ Green, another brilliant read!

TJ Greens' latest work, “Sacred Magic,” brings all the wonderful characters together that have engrossed and captivated readers of her White Haven Witches series of books.
“It’s Just brilliant. My attention was dashing from one drama to the next, from stolen dragon eggs to cursed witches, it kept me turning pages. The story involves a lot of characters from other books in the series and I know readers will want to get them and plunge themselves into the other books as well. This book ties in the relationships of all the people in White Haven and brings them all closer. Loved it.”

Sacred Magic was so worthwhile the wait!

I loved all af the White Haven Witches books, but this one, had so many heartwarming moments, from the baby dragon, to Caspian finding his love. .but I had always hoped it would have been Briar, to the wedding. As always, well written, as it keeps you absorbed from beginning to end. I read it in a day as I could not put it down! Thanks TJ for yet another fabulous book and I really hope there will be more, as we all love these witches and their friends! This whole series is well worth reading. 5 stars doesn't do it justice! 🙂

So satisfying

There were perhaps too many characters at once, too much action between both events, but the characters satisfy. They change, they deepen, each adventure moves them forward. I thought the Therian clan gave up too easily. Too tidy. I suppose they will rear up again, unlike the prior villains. Lots of plot lines to look forward to. I just wish the books were longer. They could be so easily and would check off all the boxes as well. It felt like a very long wait for this one so I’ll have to reread the series.

Loved it.

What can I say, another beautifully written book.
Avery,Alex,Briar Rhuben, and El in another mystery.
A new witch arrives in White Haven asking for help as she thinks she's been cursed. They also run into two friends, Sam and Ruth, who are hunting for some eggs.. These are special, They are dragon eggs.
Can the white haven coven along a whole host of their friends find the eggs cure a cursed witch all before El and Ruben's wedding.
I read this book in one sitting.
Loved it. Now want more.

Sacred Magic by T J Green is another outstanding white Haven Witches book. There are new characters interspersed with the WhIte Haven witches and it all blends seamlessly. This book brings in dragon magic, shifters and a deadly curse for a new witch. Caspian, Avery and Reuben struggle with an unbreakable curse to save Morwenna. I read this book over two days and was fascinated by the action and the outcome. Five stars for sure!

Excellent Paranormal Fantasy Series!
Each story this author writes is so immersive that the reader can't resist being swept up in the world of White Haven Witches. There are fae, Nephilim, witches, Otherworld interactions. She has a brilliant and colourful imagination and this world is described so well that it's easy to visualize. This one has a cherry on top at the end. And the research notes at the end credits are a great read as well. Highly recommended!

I started Sacred Magic on Friday, just as Storm Bert arrived and happily locked the doors and sat down for a marathon read. Wow, talk about a fast moving epic of; Dragon Eggs, a wedding, curses and romance. Once again our Whitehaven Witches, together with Shadow, the Nephilim Hunters and our Occult Dealers race to save a friend from a terrible fate.
