This books gives an excellent distillation of the ideas of the New Austrian School of Economics as developed by Dr. Antal E. Fekete from the original works of Carl Menger. This includes providing an understanding of the internal workings of an unadulterated gold standard, where a clearing system using real bills of exchange develops spontaneously as it did in past centuries. The book puts the concepts of Fekete into layman's terms, making the ideas much more accessible to the average reader. Highly recommended.
