i looooove battle and holland so much it's crazy!! these books are long but because of the format and story it doesn't feel that way at all. the love these two have for each other is so deep and you really feel they are perfect for one another. another losten brother down!!! lots more to go :)

My heart was shattered! When I tell you I devoured this book!! I couldn’t set it down. I needed answers and I had to know what happened with them. I fell harder for both Battle and Holland. This book broke my heart more but put it back together better than it was before. I love their love! This entire family lives rent free in my head. Bertie once again delivered 1000% with the spice!

perfect ending to the most beautiful love story ❤️
Part 2 definitely did NOT disappoint! The way that Battle and Holland love each other is #LifeGoals. The first book is long, but necessary as it gives you the set up and background for Holland’s story. You know there’s something underneath Battle’s shell but you don’t know what exactly…until Part 2.
And whew what a ride it is! Part 2 is the other side of the duo and really fleshes out Battle’s demons and backstory. Again, long but every single detail is necessary and fleshes these two characters out so well. And. The. SPICE! Burns up the pages 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ so very good!
I loved Lochan but omg Battle is the winner for me. Such a badass. And Holland is his perfect soulmate. The story, the writing, everything is so well done! I can’t wait to read about the rest of the Losten brothers. They’re all so different and unique. Somehow this author manages to make everyone and every detail so very interesting and entertaining. Definitely on my “don’t care what it is, just buy it!” list forever! Looking forward to the next in the series, can’t wait!

The good news is that there is a lot of potential
There's a ton of potential in this author, their writing style, and these books. The character banter is fresh and funny, the family dynamic is enthralling, and the background stories are great. I love the stable real family in the Lostens PLUS the found families for the FMCs.
However, I would encourage this author to get serious and use ARCs or an editing service. Simple things like plot holes / timeline / etc could have cut this down length down 25% but improved the overall cohesiveness a lot. The book is 80% smut but has the potential to be SO MUCH MORE
I like this author a lot, I am in their small (but growing) facebook group and appreciate how responsive they are. But this felt like I was reading the rough draft.

My heart was shattered and put back together 💔 the amount of times I gasped and paced my house while reading. Battle and Holland are the perfect couple. They create a perfect balance for each other.
I wish I had a Losten family in my life…… I’d settled for just the brothers 😮💨🫠
The flow of the story and all the spiciness thrown in makes it for such a simple but grasping read. You get so sucked into the story line and it makes you feel like you’re actually there.
I cannot wait for the next Losten brother to be gifted to us 🖤

Battle and Holland
Another spicy one from the Losten brothers. Battles name is way more fitting than I ever could have imagined but I won't be giving any spoilers about the wars he's faced.
Holland is full of sass and spirit ever after her wars as well, different from her mans though.
Definitely consider the trigger warnings if talk about SA and murder aren't things you have the mental capacity for. But this was a good one. I'm very curious for Barrack and Travis's stories now

I L-O-V-E the Losten brothers. While Lochlan is my preferred book boyfriend, I wouldn’t complain about a Battle book boyfriend, either. There were so many moments I said to myself, “Dear Lord (see what I did there 😏), please let me find a man like one of these brothers one day.” Battle’s protective side when it came to Holland’s parents? Swooooon. Honestly, d Bertie is my favorite smutty (I use that word affectionately and with the respect it deserves!) author. Can’t wait for more books!

This was a very delicious book indeed! I absolutely love battle and the way he loves Holland.
Super steamy 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 and the story is great, I feel like I know this family and can't get enough.
I hope the next book will be Journey although I'm also super interested in Travis story as well.

Roller-coaster Ride
I have not felt so many emotions and anxiety reading a book in a long time. This book was absolutely fabulous. You feel every emotion possible reading it. I cried alot some were happy tears so were not. I absolutely love this couple and their love story. I can not wait to see which brother is next. I am hoping Journey or Barrack.

This book had so much potential but fell flat. Battle and Holland have an amazing story but all of the on page sex overshadowed that, it was almost boring. I believe if it was at least 50% shorter ( combined with the first) it would have been much better.

Wow. Like just wow. Battle is my man. This book was soooooooo good! I loved the drama in this book. I just love battle and holland and loved seeing their story unfold. I literally cried. Happy, sad, all the tears. My heart is so full 🩷

Battle Adrian Losten!! You are such my favorite morally grey book character 🫶🏾 I LOVED him and hollands story, I think it was meant to come out before lochlans book but nevertheless another listen brother has stolen my heart 💙
