After retiring from her day job of nearly 33 years, Marsha DeFilippo has embarked on a new career of writing books. She is also a lifelong avid crafter and has yet to try a craft she doesn’t like. She spends her winters in Arizona and the remainder of the year in Maine.
Eva, Analise, Jennifer, & Sarah are the original 4 members of the Cozy Quilts Club. They meet regularly as a quilting club, but they also who have paranormal skills, which they end up using to help find clues to crimes that others can't, helping solve several crimes
I recommend reading the others first, but it's not required in order to enjoy this.
Each book so far has centered mostly around different members, which is a great concept - we learn more about them, so by now (if you've read them all) you've come to feel like you know them.
This time it is centered more around Sarah, whose friend Meghan calls her after finding her roommate Lily dead in their apartment, and becomes the main suspect.
There are a lot of interesting characters (and a few great pets). and the mystery is an intriguing one.
Things move very quickly in this well written book. You learn some of what's happened early on (typical of this series), rather than the big reveal at the end.
This was a pretty quick and easy read, with good imagery. It had me in tears at a few points, and smiling at others.
Look forward to the next one!!.

I enjoyed this cozy mystery story with all the characters that were within. The main character was Meghan Doherty.
Meghan Doherty discovers her roommate lifeless body in their apartment. And she becomes the prime suspect, which is what the police tell her. With the help of some friends and animals of hers, they try to clear her name.
This was a fun story to read. It had action, drama, suspense, and surprises throughout. There were a few giggles and laughs within. It was fun trying to solve the mystery within. This is the fourth book in this series. I have read book three but not the rest yet. They are six in the series so far.
I received a complimentary copy via Booksprout. This is my honest, unbiased opinion.

Caught in a Spider's Web is book #4 in the Cozy Quilts Club Mystery series by Marsha DeFilippo.
This was so good! As a quilter, I enjoyed Sarah’s visit to the quilt shop. I have trouble selecting fabric on my own. I liked that it mentioned the quilting project from previous book and mentioned Project Linus. This was such a sad case. The ladies used their special abilities to help with the investigation. It was a complex mystery that took a lot of help to solve. There was one person I was sure was involved but I was wrong. I enjoyed this book and the whole series.

This cozy mystery was well written with fun PNR aspects involving pets and dead people that helped solve the mystery. The quilting references were woven into the story throughout for those interested in the art. The relationships were the crux of the story and the friendships of trust and care were strong throughout. I was distracted from the great story by the irrelevant LGBTQ references used at the very beginning of the story, but never referenced again.

A new murder case for the psychic ladies, especially Sarah. This is a well written cozy mystery with good characters and enough suspense. I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to find out what happens next. I received an advance review copy for free via Booksprout and I’m leaving a voluntary and honest review.
I liked this as much as the other books in the series. This one involved a Halloween quilt by the group and a murder involving a friend and a crooked cop. As before, the group was able to use their paranormal skills to solve the murder.
I found this one difficult to follow. I had to keep looking back to see what the characters had already done. I think the author should have looked back as well.
