There's no such thing as ghosts

Rate this book
James Black is back in a special short story just for Halloween. He's been hired to investigate a supposedly haunted house. Which sounds like the perfect job, because ghosts don't exist. But something is moving furniture around and making creepy noises in the middle of the night, and it's up to James to find out what. Before it's too late.

About the author

Daniel McKay lives in New Zealand where he spends his time writing, teaching philosophy, and playing cards. He writes the Philosophical Detective series, which combines his love for philosophy with his love for sarcasm, and the Pantheon series, which combines his love for interesting magic powers with his love for awesome fight scenes.

He can be reached at danielmckayauthor@gmail.com. Or you could try shining a Dan-Signal in the sky on a cloudy night. No guarantees that one will work though.

P.S. The Augmentamancer Chronicles books are currently out of print on account of them being a bit amateurish but I am working my way back through them with a metaphorical red pen and they are slowly being rereleased. Books 1, 2, and 3 are back and the second editions have brand new (way cooler) cover art.
