The English Country Lad

Rate this book
David Butt's reputation as a photographer of the young male has grown immensely over the past few years. He works from the ancient town of Banbury in England's Oxfordshire.
His photographs have mostly been taken on rural location, though our book contains several well-chosen indoor and studio shots. David Butt maintains that by taking his young models out into the countryside to field, wood or dell they begin to relax more and to pose in a more natural and one-with-nature way.
This collection centres on the English country lad as opposed to the town guy. These lads possess qualities of openness and old-world friendliness that have almost disappeared from the streets of our concrete jungles.
