I was very much engrossed with this story. It was short and sexy, but I so enjoyed it. I'm looking to read all of Clara King books. 5☆

Sienna has had her overbearing, driven sister managing her life for a while now and she just needs a break. She decides to take a holiday from the job her sister got her and go to the cabin in the middle of the woods her aunt left her in her will. She happens to cross paths with a grumpy lumberjack that he feels she is trespassing. Chase just wants to get the curvy city girl back to the city as soon as possible. Will he help her repair the cabin that she has inherited just to get her out of his presence sooner? Will she get under his skin if they work together?

Another amazing book by Clara King. If you want a quick read, this book is for you. I love the chemistry between Sienna and Chase. I like how her cabin became her work nook! I can't wait for Clara's next book!

If you want a super sweet insta-love HEA novella, then this is it.
43 yo, ex-army, now lumberjack Chase likes his solitude in the woods but then 23yo aspiring writer, and complete sugary, dress-wearing in the woods Sienna appears at a neighboring “cabin” (shack that’s falling apart). She plans to fix it in 4 days 🙄 she’s a city girl who has never been camping or anything and the place is falling apart with a hole in the roof and no plumbing and everything. Right…..🙄🙄🙄
So Chase changes his tune real fast to wanting to be around Sienna. Ends up helping her fix up the cabin. And on night two, they have sex. And both of them are virgins. Both. Of. Them. Right…..🙄
Anyway, after three days, Sienna returns to the city to let her ten year older sister know she’s moving to the forest cabin and fell in love. Because both she and Chase obviously love each other after those three days. And her older sister doesn’t really question it too much. And Sienna returns and moves in with Chase.
Epilogue, Sienna is a published author now, of course, and pregnant with their first child.

Chase is a typical grumpy mountain man, but everything changes when he meets Sienna. These two fell head over heels for each other and nothing could stop them from being together. She decides to tak a few days off to go to the cabin in Cherry Hollow her Aunt left her in her will. But the reality of this fairy tale cabin she envisaged is nothing more than a shack! To top it off a mountain of a man comes crashing through the forest towards her telling her to get off 'private property'. The misunderstanding is corrected and Chase leaves Sieena but then comes back and literally saves her when she immediately has an accident in the shack.
He ends up helping her repair the shack to make it habital but quickly falls under her spell and she him. Will she leave in 4 days and can he stand losing her?

She is going to see the cabin her grandma left her in the mountains. Chase is a 42 year old hunky, grumpy, ex-military man. He sees Sienna when she comes to her cabin. He is immediately taken with the Curvy pink haired beauty but is worried about her staying in the rundown cabin. He reluctantly offers to help her fix it, hoping she will then leave. But the more time he spends with her, the more he wants her to stay. Will this young city girl move to the country for this hunky lumberjack? They had insane chemistry, and after some minor angst, we got a very happy ending. I loved it and can't wait for more in this series!.

This was a cute quick read. I was pleasantly surprised that there was more plot than smut, and though the smut is a little cringy it wasn’t really a big deal to me because there were only two scenes.
The story isn’t anything groundbreaking, it’s your typical city girl moving to the middle of nowhere with no idea what she is doing because she needs a life change and the grumpy lumberjack that owns the property next to her wants her to leave until he realizes how perfect she is. That said, it is just a fun quick read, and though the timeline is definitely unrealistic it is an instalove novella. There is a HEA and though there is a tiny misunderstanding that could have become more dramatic than it was in the third act there is no breakup and it’s extremely low angst. I’m looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

As Sienna finds herself falling for the rugged, reclusive Chase, she must decide whether to return to her old life in the city or embrace a new beginning with Chase. This was a funny, flirty, touching quicky read that pulls at the heartstrings. Sienna is struggling to find her footing in the world of her older, "perfect" sister's choosing. She receives an unexpected lifeline in the form of a "quaint" cabin from a deceised aunt. Chase, the former military man who "greets" her is as grumpy as he is big and broad. He's as determined to be rid if her as she is to stick it out. Oh boy, the battle lines are drawn, but just what are they really fighting?
This is an interesting storyline with compelling characters that keeps you reading. Side characters are mentioned who also have their own books you can read (or will have I'm sure). I, for one, am certainly looking forward to seeing much more of Crave County!

I am checking this out after seeing a recommendation for books with curvy heroine and virgin HERO.
It's not any different from any Mountain Men novella I have read before, it's the same formula. Girl goes to the mountain for some reason (you named it, it could be anything), and meets mountain man, and they fall in love, Bam! HEA. It's just an instalove smutty read, quick and easy, something that I crave if I'm having a book hangover. I thought this was gonna be unique because it has Virgin Hero, but it's not. The MMC is in his 40s and a virgin, but it was brushed off with one line "This is my first time too", and was never explained or discussed further. It's fine but then what is the point of making him a virgin? LOL
But it was an adequate read, I know what I'm getting, and it's a perfectly fine spicy novella.

This is book number 1 of the Crave County: Lumberjacks Loves Curves series and focuses on Chase and Sienna. Sienna was ready for a break from her job and the city, so when she found out that she had inherited a cabin in the woods from her aunt, she jumped at the opportunity to visit it and get a break from her life. What she doesn’t expect to find is a falling apart, abandoned cabin and Chase, the mountain man next door. The connection between the two of them was instant and they were instantly drawn to each other. It doesn’t take them long to realize just what they feel for each other and to go after what they want in life. This was a great story and a great introduction to the series.

Does Sienna like the forest life.

It was a great read with lots of insta love. They definitely had chemistry and in a.way I felt sorry for Sienna because she wanted her own life but felt as though she owed her sister everything. She has her own dreams but her sister wants her to work her way up to her own position with the company. Chase has other ideas though. A great read though and I can't wait for more Crave County.

Great little introduction to the mountain men of Cherry Hollow. Meet Chase who is ex Army and trying to live a very quiet and content life when he gets a rude realization, the abandon shack next to his property has an owner and she just showed up.

Clara certainly knows how to pack a story line you want to swim in and admire all at the same time.
The introduction of these two meeting was one of my favorite scenes. Plus, how can you go wrong with Grumpy Forest Man and Stubborn City Girl.
These two can't help the electricity they feel for each other. We can't help but drink it in as we wish that was happening like now! I love how Chase pitches in with no real intention, and Sienna is smart enough to realize she's in over her head.
This read was fast, steamy, oh so dreamy, and make us wanna roast marshmallows outside and have a companion like Moose. It's all the ooey gooey spicy vibes you want in your life right now!

The story is about Chase and Sienna. Sienna needs a break to find her inner peace, but the cabin is not what she hoped for, and Chase comes to the rescue. He offers to help fix the cabin and protective of her. He thinks she's the most beautiful lady he has ever seen. She feels self-confidence and he hate hearing her talk down about herself and tells her she is perfect and every part of her is beautiful. She starts to believe especially when he encourages her to follow her dream of being an author. Chase is her cheerleader in her corner, and they fall in love in amazing way. I loved the story.

Sienna had decided to go to the cabin that her Aunt had left her in her will to get her mind clear. She had been hired to work where her sister, Megan, was the Editor-in-Chief which was Megan's dream. Sienna wasn't happy. The cabin wasn't livable. Chase, the lumberjack, had not seen anyone there in the 7 years that he had lived in the area. He was attracted to Sienna, but he was not sure if a city girl could live there. See how he agrees to help her repair the cabin so she could stay there. Will more come of them working and talking together? He asks her what her dream career is? Will she tell him?.

What did I just read?
Saw this on an instagram ad, and was just wrapping up a disappointing read so this seemed like something silly to clean the palate.
This was a fun, albeit very unrealistic, short story featuring a plethora of tropes including insta love, age gap, curvy FMC, grumpy MMC.
Pros - there was a dog!
Cons - if you cannot suspend your disbelief that a super hot, 42 year old lumberjack is a virgin, this novella may not be for you!
Notes - the 19 year age gap (while still very much not my cuppa) at least didn’t feature a FMC who was still a teenager.
Overall - 2.5 ⭐️
Spiciness - 🌶️🌶️🌶️

What a wonderful story this was. We follow Sienna and Chase. They are opposites, he is grumpy and she is a ray of sunshine, but they still fit together. He first helps her renovate the cabin that Sienna's aunt left her, but he is not happy with that. Gradually they become closer and their feelings become stronger and passion comes into play. I enjoyed their story and how they eventually reached their Hea after a kink in their path.

Her Grumpy Lumberjack is steamy and sweet, funny and sincere, beautiful and bold. Chase is indeed very grumpy—he loves his peaceful haven and his pup—and doesn’t want any intruders in his space. Sienna is a young woman looking to find herself and her passion. With a kind and can-do attitude, she meets life’s challenges head on. The intensity between Chase and Sienna is electric, and their personalities clash in the best of ways. I laughed and swooned, and loved this novella!
