Do Less, Be More

Rate this book
Everyone wants love what they do and who they are. They want to feel connected, joyful, and fully alive. But most have given up and said it just isn’t possible. Do Less, Be More is a powerful promise and tool to show the power of focus; to show what can happen in our lives when we fully engage in what really matters to us—and eliminate the inconsequential activities that dominate so much of our time and energy. Do Less, Be More is a call to rediscover our purpose and passion in a way that sets us free to achieve our dreams!

I enjoyed this book, and learned so much from it. I love that the illustrations and mostly examples are based from the word of God. This book is recommended to people who would want to shift their focus on things that are more important. This book is a beautiful reminder to let passion and sense of purpose be the focal point of our dreams and not just selfish pursuit. That our setbacks and failures creates the better version of us and it should not stop us from our goal. This book reminded me that our brokenness makes us compassionate and and humble to other people. Very interesting and a great book to help shape our thoughts differently, for the better.

This book is short, and to the point. I took notes as take-aways.
More books like this should/could be short. Publishers want to "fluff" them up at times, and this one is not fluffy like pancakes, it's dense like sausage.
Example: ALL of Mel Robbins books and materials. Those books should be pamphlets, a video, a T-shirt, a coffee mug. That woman rambles on and on and on... where's the Meat?
This book is meat. Bite, chew, repeat.
Recommended, it's Very Good.

A very inspiring book that transforms into more productive and meaningful lives. You can live an inspired life of meaning and purpose. Relief and more of hope are just the two emotions I felt as I took to heart the words in this book. What a difference it has made! Thank you, John, for helping me to be stronger and to believe that I can with mindfulness and true-love-resiliency!

This book is very transformational because all contents are based on what the bible says on how to live right here on earth, opposite from what the present is teaching us. It shows how to ignite the passion of the called.
