This started alarmingly sweet but ended in disappointing cringe.
Luke is head of his security firm & after arresting Kelly’s ex-fiancé decides to go all in on sweet Kelly.
The story felt a little rushed and that’s most likely why the ending was a bit cringe. I had to rush through the chapter of their first time because the mmc gave me the ick 😣

This was another great quick and spicy read by Alexa Riley! I can’t get enough of their books and this was another great consuming read! I can’t wait for more!

This was...something; it's not bad per se; it just didn't hold my interest. The insta-love didn't work for me, and I feel like the plot was rushed.
Kelly's fake engagement with Paul fell through after his father found out he had been stealing from his company. It was a fake engagement because Kelly's was basically sold to Paul. Her father and her ex-fiance were in cahoots, doing shady stuff.
Anyway, Luke's investigation led to Paul getting caught and being sent to rehab. The day everything was revealed was the first time Luke saw Kelly, and cue insta-love. He told her he's going to drive her home, Kelly agreed reluctantly, but then she got out of the car when they stopped at the red light. And a week had passed, and Luke had been looking for her ever since until he finally found her in her brother's school waiting area.
Luke didn't give her a choice again, and he took them home. This is where he found out that her father is a big-time criminal and involved in drug dealing. He made a fake business proposition, and once they agreed to discuss it at a later point, Kelly's father handed her to Luke like cattle. 😒
He took them home. They get frisky, but the next day her brother sprained his arm, and she had no choice but to leave the apartment to go to the hospital. Her father's men caught them and brought them back home when this POS realized that Luke had double-crossed him. There is some violence and gun shooting, but in the end, everything works out for the best.
Anyhoo, I didn't get invested in the story; there's no chemistry between the MCs. The romance and attraction felt like they came out of nowhere. And I'm still trying to understand how they end up together. While this didn't work for me, other readers might feel differently.

Kelly was fake engaged in the first book of this series. However, now that the fake engagement is off she has to find another way for her and her brother Marco to escape their father's criminal syndicate.
Luke is a private detective but like a high end one where he has safe houses and armories to protect clients. He grew up in foster care with his foster brother Maxim.

OVERALL THOUGHTS:
This was a cute story but in the end a bit boring. Kelly is seriously traumatized by her father and that she's had to raise her brother Marco and tried keeping him safe. She's been engaged to three different men because her father is fucking gross. I feel bad for her. Luke is a sweet and strong MMC who does his best to keep her safe.
WHAT I DIDN’T LIKE:
The whole Marco trips and hurts his wrist so they have to leave the safe house to get to the hospital and then they get kidnapped there was annoying.

This was cute story, we met Kelly and Marco previously and now we learn more about her situation. After Kelly's engagement gets canceled, she has no other way to get out of her situation. In comes Luke who's one of the reasons she's no longer engaged ready to take her away from her father and the life she hates. I liked Luke, he did what he had to do for the woman he fell for. I like that he was Maxim's foster brother and that we got to see him again. Kelly and Luke were good together and I liked that he took Marco under his wings. I liked the epilogue and their HEA.

Me gusto es un instalove pero me falto un poco mas de convivio entre ellos.
Y su final fue perfect ♡♡♡

Wow! I really enjoyed this story. The way the people in this story was described was amazing. The feel of the ick the bad men had, making your skin crawl was described to enhance the yuck. And the sweetness of the Hero, was swoon-worthy. As for her, she was worth it all! Loved it!!

"He's All In" is the story of Kelly and Luke.
Insta love, protective hero, scarred heroine, loads of drama and HEA. I enjoyed that it was a bit long so we got into the characters.
