The Labyrinth is full of monsters. Some of them are relentlessly malevolent; some of them transform depending on how you perceive them; some are paper tigers to drive you away and some are invincible. The Labyrinth is not a good place to go willingly but a thief has stolen your heart and you are cold inside. The thief is the Wizard Delzan.
Among the many paths that lead to dead ends and to death; the paths that go round and round with no way back, amidst the many dreams of the Labyrinth, in underworlds of stone and steel, dreams of deserts and of jungles, Delzan has his laboratory. Your only hope of regaining the ruby engine that drives your own hopes and dreams is to find the wizard and confront him. Strange treasures you come across along the way may help – or they may not. Courage is necessary on such a quest and so is judgement and cunning but sometimes only luck will get you through.
And if you succeed in your quest to find your heart – well, you will have to find your way back!
