Do You Know How God Loves You?: Successful Daily Living

Rate this book
Set aside a few minutes every day to contemplate your life of love with your Lord. God the Son, Jesus Christ, came to seek and to save. He gave up His comforts and endured torture on your behalf. The Holy Spirit is ready to guide you in love through every tough moment of your life. Be certain that you have the joy of the greatest love of all times. See more about the wonderful ways God loves you.

The heavenly Father originated the plan for the entire universe, His Son implemented it, and the Holy Spirit breathed life into it. Likewise, God selected you and gave you to Jesus Christ before Earth, the other planets, and the sun were spoken into being. God selected the names of the beloved ones before He set His clock into motion, before time began! God loves you that much! When you accept His love into your heart, the Person of God known as the Holy Spirit breathes new life into you, a new creation, and comes to love you through every day the rest of your life on earth. He loves you. Praise God for Who He is. Thank Him for what He has done. Love Him for His freely flowing grace.

Do you know that the Lord wants you to pray without ceasing? What other friend do you have who never tires of hearing from you? Jesus Christ has told you to follow Him, listen to Him, and talk with Him? What do you say to Him? If you follow Him, you must first trust Him. If you trust Him, you must first know Him. When you know how He loves you, your prayers become conversations more than rituals.

DO YOU KNOW HOW GOD LOVES YOU? What others are

“Easy reading, yet thought provoking. Writer's love for Christ and search for understanding of God's work evident.”
—Nancy Reeves, Registered Nurse, Rancher, Arcadia, LA

“How lovely this book is! Practical, easy reading, and thought provoking. A search within yourself and where you are in your relationship with the Lord. I love all the scripture references, I love how you are incorporating personal stories you have experienced, and I love the songs that you have here and there. Nothing speaks to the soul like the re-assurances of ‘Jesus Loves Me’ and ‘Just As I Am’...beloved songs and hymns that almost everyone will know by heart. This devotional will be a treasure to those who receive it. There are blessings to be received by those who will read it daily...”
—Trisha Hurkes, Medical Clinic Administrator, Junction City, AR

“Each scripture reference and your insights and applications are so timely for these days of unbelief and confusion. In the busy world of late-date technology, ‘In the Storm’ – ‘Be still and know that I am God’ (Psalm 46:10) – reminds me to take heed.”
—Margaret Akin, Retired Dental Assistant, Bible Teacher, Simsboro, LA

“I find Mary Lou’s writings to be deep and soulful, yet simple to grasp. She’s refreshing as she exposes truth often using meaningful stories to support her point. I can see Mary Lou’s book used as a Bible study in churches wishing to feed a hungry flock.”
—Apala Miller, Administrative Assistant, Dallas, TX

“Mary Cheatham has done a wonderful job of blending solid theology, aids for personal worship, and words for practical daily living in her devotional book, Do You Know How God Loves You? As her pastor I have personally seen her enjoy her love relationship with God!”
—Dr. Wilton Wall, Pastor, First Baptist Church, Simsboro, LA

“My favorite devotional of all time is the classic by Oswald Chambers. However it is sometimes a bit difficult to understand the author's commentary.

This is a Christian devotional which will provide comfort to many.

Ms Cheatham’s new book will provide food for the souls of many Christians. Each of us addresses spirituality in different ways and this book will provide a path for many seeking some structure and outline. Devotionals are often highly traditional and earnestly exhortative without truly engaging the reader to participate in a relationship with God.

This devotional invites Christians to examine their relationship with God on a daily basis. By using contemporary language and modern examples it is more readily accessible than many of the 19th century devotionals with which I am more familiar.
The love with which Ms Cheatham has prepared this devotional is apparent. If you are a Christian, this book may well provide you with inspiration. If you know a Christian who is struggling with their faith, this may well be an appropriate gift. I cannot directly see the hand of Mr Elliott, the editor, in this work anymore than I can directly see the hand of God. But I feel certain that both played a part in enabling Ms Cheatham to prepare this banquet for the soul.

These are truly comfortable words.
