Revelations have shattered everything they thought they knew. Ivy, a mere name, is not who she seems. She is Azalea, the long-lost princess of the Landeena kingdom. With this revelation, Azalea not only discovers her true identity but also the dormant Landeena power within her. This power, a force of nature, is the key to everything. Casting off the chains of her former oppression, Azalea emerges as a powerful force, ready to reclaim her birthright and seek justice for the wrongs she has endured.
King Kyson, torn between his obligations and his emotions for Azalea, finds himself at a crossroads. He must choose to support her rise to power or step aside. As Ivy dies and is reborn as Azalea Landeena, she is no longer the submissive figure of her past but a queen in her own right. She challenges everyone around her to stand with her or move out of her way.
Meanwhile, a sinister figure lurks within the castle walls, weaving a plot of revenge. Their actions threaten to either destroy the kingdom and Azalea’s rise to power. As secrets unravel and allegiances are tested, Azalea and Kyson must navigate political intrigue and betrayal.
Revenge is in the air, ready to topple one kingdom and wake another from the dead. In the middle of it all, a queen rises, fighting not just for revenge, but for her kingdom.

Very disappointed with the direction of this book and the last one. Azalea’s constant whining and “nesting” has honestly becoming annoying. The nonstop arguing, fighting, and commanding between Azalea and Kyson makes it feel like they aren’t really mates. It’s always an ultimate, Abbi or I stay, Abbi or I won’t mate with you, and now it’s the children go or I stay with them. She also NEVER listens to Kyson and she ends up getting hurt…EVERY SINGLE TIME! The only good part of the book was when the council came and Kyson killed one of them and her Landeena lycans showed up to help. Wish the book would have gone more in that direction instead of this garbage that ended with Peter killing their baby and now it turns out he is her step-brother. It’s just disappointing giving Azalea this great power, even though she can’t read, knows nothing about Lycans, the laws, or even leadership, and with no training what so ever. But Kyson is expected to move out of the way for her? I feel bad at how low the writer has brought Kyson. Most of his close guards don’t even show him respect. So my for a Lycan King. Lastly, palpable palpable palpable! I swear it’s like every other page contained that word.
In many places there are several paragraphs back to back that hold the same sentiment but told two different ways. In many places ot also feels like the book was written talk-to-text, which is fine, but it still needs editing to fix the words used or the sentence/paragraph breaks that change meaning when not set up properly.
I want to smack the main characters all the time. Seriously, just talk to each other. Az shows waaayyyy more development in this area than her mate and it would be nice to see more on his side as well, instead of the same alpha male trope of ‘but it’s for your protection’. Yeah. Secrets don’t work that way. Some I understand but it feels like he is keeping her dumb on purpose. Like no. Just no. Teach her to be a Queen. Give her tools. Tell her the dangers she faces.
Azalea aka Ivy continues to find her footing and power in this book. At the end, she even makes.a.command that Kyson cannot resist. Azalea is pretty much set up to be a badass...even more than Kyson. Farewell to my meek, sweet submissive girl. She seems to take on a benevolent liberator role. She brings all the children from her old orphanage home with her and she even demands the life of the boy who killed her unborn baby to be saved. She's your modern day mother Theresa. Her and Abby both. This isnt a hot romance novel. It's an interesting story of the rise to power over the Lycan Realms.

One of my all time favourite series. I read the originally books multiple times and now getting some extra goodness with the rewrites.
From a nobody on death row to being the kings mate, life changed drastically for Azalea in such a short time span. She’s having to discover basic things she was never give as well as trying to figure out her newly revealed identity and everything it entails. Having to rise as Queen when all she has know is the life of being a tortured servant.
This book has so many plot twist you won’t see coming
I loved all 5 of these books. I devoured them finishing books one and two in one day. The only reason they didn't get five stars across the board is because of the typos that are all throughout every book. I wanted to Scream and cry through out these books just as much as I laughed though out them as well. I did wish for some one different for Damian in the end but at the same time the way it played out wasn't all that bad. I was shocked at one of the bad guys in this but not the other two. I had guessed those two very easily. These books have it all love, betrayal, found family, lovers to enemies, enemies to lovers, forced Proximity, fated mates, lost princess, hidden unstoppable power, werewolves and Lycan. Give these books a try i will be recommending them.
Abbie and Ganon's relationship took up a SIGNIFICANT portion of this book. I love the relationships and the characters. Some spice, but I wish there was more. This little found family is endearing, and the story way more than I was expecting. Kyson is still a dick, but what else is new?
I recommend to those looking for a spicy paranormal/fantasy romance. It's light and engaging.
This novel explored the process of healing trauma - how strength can be found through facing what happened head on and choosing how you will move forward. I was devastated at the loss, I’m hoping that is rectified in the final book of the series - Azalea deserves it.
When I think I know what’s going to happen, Jessica proves that I, in fact, don’t know diddly. 😩 I haven’t read an entire series in years because I bore easily. Not the case here. Onto the next.
