His Witness is Book 1 of The Protectors series. It's a fast-paced, girl gets her protector, forced-proximity, romantic suspense. Anna is a 30 year old lab tech in the witness protection program. Diego is a hunky U.S. Marshall. When a picture of Anna is posted online without her consent, she ends up being exposed to danger. Diego is the US Marshall assigned to live with her to protect her. The more time they spend together, the hotter things get. But as danger comes knocking again, can Diego keep her safe? And can they make a relationship work? This was a great fast-paced read with some unexpected twists and a little bit of spice. I am looking forward to this series. This was my first book by this author but not the last.

Thank you Tami Lund for such a good romantic suspense book!
I really liked how MMC Diego was a U.S. Marshal and in charge of protecting witness Anna in Witness protection. It wasn't a relationship I had ever seen done in a book and it made the storyline unique and different for me. Their chemistry from the very beginning was intense and made for a genuine connection in a stressful time. There was a great suspense/mystery aspect to the book that only continued to grow as plot twists were dropped throughout the storyline. Great pace for a storyline, the right amount of spice and a relatively quick read for me! I can not wait to continue "The Protectors" series!
This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the first book in the Protectors series. I got pulled into this story right away, and I loved getting to know the characters. I loved the suspense parts more than the romance, and I felt the romance in this book was too fast moving. I just wanted more feelings and connections in the romance parts. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I will keep reading this series. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
"No matter what he may or may not be feeling, she was unconditionally temporary in his life."
This book was a nice start to a new series that sounds very interesting. I really liked both main characters and thought they were good together. I actually expected a lot more action, based on the blurb and the first few chapters. Instead it focused more on getting to know Diego and Anna. They had good chemistry and got along well almost from the start. I felt the big confrontation and conflict with Saif, the bad guy, was a little anticlimactic. I also think the resolution of Diego and Anna's issues was kind of rushed and way too simplified. It made me wonder why Diego had been worried about her eventually leaving if it was that easy.
Vanessa, one of Diego's co-workers, was a likeable character and I'm happy to see the next book focuses on her. Plus it will be nice to see how Diego and Anna are doing.
