A day at the beach turns into potential tragedy when Quinn and Rowan Gray-Davenport witness a boat going down in the cove. A quick swim helps them save a father, twin girls, and a set of pouty grandparents, but then things take a turn.
Rowan’s daughter Lana shows the family photos of the rescue later, and everybody they just saved has a death omen hanging over them. Save for one person, the grandmother. That means that death isn’t done with the family, and it’s up to Rowan and her merry band of paranormal hunters to find the answers necessary to save everybody involved.
It seems this isn’t the first time tragedy has befallen the family. The twins’ mother disappeared months before, abandoning her family and leaving a messy situation behind. As Rowan begins to dig, she realizes there might be more to the story than she ever imagined.
The victims have a lot of money—and it’s old money, so they’re insulated from scandal—but it appears something in their past is threatening their future.
It’s going to take everybody working together to save them. And even then, some ghosts don’t die. They can never be forgotten either.
It’s a race to the finish. Who will be left standing?

A welcome addition to the series.

Rowan Grey was always my least favourite.character as was her series, Quinn also wasn't a big hit. I found her too different and him too authoritative added to which Rowan's talent struck me as a bit lame, she sees death omens on pictures of people who are about to die (often violently) now not only are they visible.to her but to anyone else.who looks at the pictures, that never made sense to me if it's her magical.talent. But anyway, the series was fun with lots of crossovers with Ivy, Harper and Maddie so I really enjoyed them and there was the long running plot of Rowan being hunted by a mysterious group. Fast forward and Rowan and Quinn are growing on me, now they are parents there is a while he's sure to them being revealed and I love their interactions with their children especially their toddler Kai, then there's Lana their five year old daughter who has inherited her mother's magic and so needs careful undoing and guidance. Then there's the bonus of Ivy, Harper and Maddie along with their men and children (not forgetting Zander) so a packed cast of characters. Each book spotlights one family and as you've probably guessed it's Rowan and Quinn's turn, the story is interesting and I honestly did not anticipate the ending we were given so.a.highly enjoyable.read..................

extraordinarily entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series

This is an extremely entertaining paranormal cozy mystery series. Great cast of characters in an entertaining storyline. This series is the combine series of four previous series including the Ivy Morgan Harper Harlow Rowan Gray and Maddie Grace series. 04 characters to live up north and to live down just north of Detroit. Every so often they have a problem it requires the Combined effort of all four of them. Each One of them has unique skills and abilities. Read on and see what adventure they get into this time. You will never be disappointed in their stories.

The Gangs All. Here

We start with a boat sinking and then with a mystery of a missing wife, not only that but Rowan and Quinn’s daughter Lana takes a picture of the sinking boat survivors and sees the omen of death in these pictures, like mother like daughter. So not only does Rowan have to deal with Lana’s new abilities and help her understand them, but she and Harper have to make sure the survivors of the boat accident are safe, no matter what the omen’s signify. The whole paranormal gang will be needed by the end of this mystery, so get this book and enjoy the adventure with them.

Excellent Read, Excellent Series

I love all of Ms. Hart's series but this one is special due to her merging the characters of four previous series into this one. I love that the four main characters are strong women with equally strong husband's. Then you have Sander and all the kids to make for hysterical chapters that all parents have dealt with. This book was special as it seems the next generation for Rowan's gift has been passed on. I love reading this book.

Lana is magical too. Yay! Ahe has inherited her mothers ability to see omens, and now she is kinda young but she is really adult these gifts. Now Kai on the other hand can't keep his pants on. Lol! Show me one toddler boy or girl who hasn't dropped their diaper at one point in their life. A father and his daughters are saved and all is good, for now. On to the next adventure!💙💚😉

Good read

Book 7 finds the 4 paranormal friends and their families involved in a mystery again. The majority of the book is centered around Rowen and Harper and their families until close to the end when Maddie and Ivy show up to join the fray. There is attempted murder, possible danger, and plenty of humor and family shenanigans. Highly entertaining.

I haven't read all of the other books in this series. I only picked up this one because the cover was amazing and the title made me think of my favorite childhood Halloween movie.
Nevertheless, it was well written and I enjoyed the characters Rowan, Quinn, and Lana.
I'll go back to the first to start.

These are laugh out loud wonderful!

Lily Harper Hart is a dynamo writer. All her characters are funny, zany, snarky, and the best at what they do!
When Rowan and Lana take pictures of strangers, who are wearing a death omen on them, their team, family, and friends jump in to save them.
I LOVE these books!

Enjoying this series

I love that this series continues from others and shows us the next generation. The kids behave older than they are, but they also face things "normal" kids don't. It's fun reading Ivy, Rowan, Harper, and Maddie doing things together.

Fun story

If you like the series, you’ll like this book. It has a solid story and lots of interaction with your favorite couples. It doesn’t have the intensity of some of the other series but it’s like sitting down in a favorite chair to enjoy some time with friends.

Fun book

I enjoy the characters and how the relate and interact with each other. The importance of friends and how they can be the chosen family. The plot lines are interesting and got suspenseful as it builds to the climax. Waiting for the next one.

Really great!

I enjoyed the original individual series with each couple but these books with their children are even more enjoyable. The mixture of the paranormal with the everyday experiences of parenthood is so well done, I can’t get enough!

Love her books!

I always love her books so much. This one was as good as the others, especially as there are several magical friends teaming up. Kai and Lana get some focus. And it’s fascinating to see them growing up. That goes for the adults as well as the children.

This book I'd darker than most in these series but it's very good. There were also some laugh out loud moments at some of the antics the kids did and Zander was being Zander. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next.

This is the first book I have read of this series. I definitively will be reading more of the series. I found the story interesting as it dealt with children so much and I liked that. Characters were interesting and mostly likeable. Recommend reading.

An angry ghost and the MIL from Hades

A photo Lana took of a family rescued from a sinking boat shows the death omen over them. Rowan and team need to keep the two 5-year-old girls alive. The adults in the family, not so much.

omens

I really enjoyed this story. It kept my attention completely. I love LHH’s books. The children add to the story in a good way.
