I enjoyed reading it. This book was enjoyable to read. This book is filled with romance, empathy, spice, loss, forming friendships, establishing relationships, and finding the person they are. 💚
The story of this book begins immediately following Furtive Rebels' ending. The two of them are together now. In this novel, we see them more as a couple pursuing a case to bring an end to the criminal organization causing chaos in Los Angeles. It is really lovely to read about the growth and development of Mila and Oliver's relationship. However, Oliver was heartbroken upon learning of the secret Mila was hiding. Yet, his reaction and handling of the entire incident was admirable. He remained gentlemanly even after being hurt.🥹💚
Oliver is a charming character . I love him . I adore how devoted he is to Mila. Reading about their encounters was fascinating. The banter between them was amazing and wholesome. 🤌
They both match each other's frequencies.😩
Once more, the supporting cast was outstanding. 💚
I adore Willow and Yaya so much. The bond between Yaya and Mila was quite cute.🥹

Rogue Wanderers is book two in the duology and it follows through the relationship of Milla and Oliver which seems to have a beautiful development in this book. This book was a perfect balance romance with steam and also was action packed. I absolutely love how M.H. Cali writes the book which is engrossing and keeps us hooked through and through.

Rogue Wanderers, picks up right where Furtive Rebels left off. I feel more in love with Oliver and Mila in this book. Their intensity is admirable and when the plot twist comes, it knocks you off your feet. Rogue Wanderers delivers a perfect blend of heart-pounding action and emotional depth. This book will leave you breathless and pondering the complexities of life and love long after you turn the final page. A truly unforgettable end to an epic duology.
I love how the main characters started out as archenemies but turned into lovers. This duology definitely gave me Mr. and Mrs. Smith vibes.

Rogue Wanderers is a wild ride! It continues with Mila and Oliver’s journey.
The writing’s so freaking good—vivid, raw, and pulls you right into Mila and Oliver’s intense world of undercover missions, love, and crazy plot twists. The story was very emotional for me, showing how Oliver and Mila fall deeper and more intensely in love, and how they become more trusting and vulnerable toward each other. The spice is wooww, chef’s kiss.
But heads-up, it’s heavy. I found several topics triggering like adoption, drinking and drugs, murders, mentions of a teen coming out of age. Later chapters dive into bombings, betrayal, and taking down a crime boss, but the love story and found-family vibes balance it out. If you want to be shaken with emotions- this is your book. It is totally worth it !

The characters just grow more and more, I absolutely love them.

This book is full of love, friendships, intense romance, bad guys, polt twists, mysteries, explosions, strong characters, sadness, pain, loss, growth, revelations and passionate relationships. The author's writing style is so effortless, that makes you feel like you are right in the head of the main character.
Oliver and Mila are two brilliant characters, and are beautiful together. Each of their pasts is shocking and it hits readers to the core, but it just adds to the beauty of it all. Oliver and Mila find each other and the love they share and the bond they form is tight, there are several romantic lines with some very intimate scenes and great chemistry between Mila and Oliver. There is no stupidity from the characters, and the drama in the background compliments the character development of the story rather than complicates it.

Oliver, a hot, determined, strong, faithful friend, remarkable lover faces a revelation that's supposed to make him hate Mila and this kept me on my toes and wondering what would happen next. There is mayhem, mishaps, and stubbornness in Rogue Wanderers.
A guy like Oliver is always a fantasy, he once states that he's having a very dark past and it's not easy for Mila to love him with all his dark parts but for me, I could look past all his imperfections and fall in love with him.

This second installment in the Black Ops series really got me feeling all emotional! 😭 What I loved most about this duology was the amount of trust Oliver and Mila put in each other; you could even say they trusted one another blindly ❤
Oliver Anderson ❤ that man was legit husband material, I'll fight you on that! I liked his character even more in this book because of the way he handled Mila's admission. The fact that you could tell he had darkness within him, and even tried to unveil a fraction of it in an attempt to scare Mila away, but didn't seem to believe it was enough to push her away himself? 😭😭😭❤❤❤ The man HATED liars, and yet he couldn't find it in him to resent his lover for her approach, probably because were the roles reversed he would've done the exact same thing.
Mila was faced with two extremely difficult tasks: Coming clean to Oliver about her reason for approaching him, and later having to convince her agency higher-ups that working with him and La Luz would be the best course of action. She wasn't the type to easily let her guard down or participate in public displays of affection and using terms of endearment, but she was willing to give her relationship with Oliver her all ❤
I truly enjoyed all the action-packed in this duet with just the right amount of romance blended in the mix ❤ I would love to get a book entirely centered around Lilian's, Mila's bestie, romance story so everyone help me bůlły Marie into delivering on that front! 🤣❤

" Rogue Wanderers" by M.H. Cali is the second book of Black Ops series. This is also the sequel of "Furtive Rebels". After finishing it' I can say it's the perfect sequel of the first part. This book has maintained the same suspence, love, action, drama. Really enjoyed this reading. Author M.H.Cali has done great job maintaining this too. Her writing is really amazing. I literally felt I was present in book. The way characters are described and their work both are so real that it' can felt in front eyes.
This part continues with the story of Oliver and Mila. I definitely needed this part after finishing the first. The ending of the first part made me emotional. But this part is really good and fulfilled the longing of the first one. The more I read I loved Oliver and Mila more. These two have their own style. I love the bond of yaya and Mila too.
Oliver and his gentleman behaviour have my heart. The discovery of Mila 's identify left him heartbroken but the way he handled the situation is really amazing. He is perfect gentleman to Mila. The man of his words and his devotion towards Mila is really beautiful to read. Overall I love this second part too. It's beautiful to read.

As Oliver and Mila continue their work to dismantle those that plague their city, will their connection be able to withstand everything thrown their way?
Both beautifully flawed, these characters share an unparalleled devotion to their mission and each other. We get to feel (because Cali puts the reader RIGHT THERE) both the intimacy and pain between them. Fueled by witty banter and searing heat, they seem unstoppable. But when their worlds are turned inside out, they’ll end up questioning everything. What do you do when the person you’re closest to isn’t who you believed them to be?
Cali’s writing is as beautiful and thrilling as always, creating characters that grab your heart and a story that will have you holding your breath. My emotions were everywhere with this read. With a powerful conclusion I both adored and hated to see come to an end, this duolgy is one you need to get your hands on and hold tight. I am without a doubt addicted.

Cali’s writing is as beautiful and thrilling as always, creating characters that grab your heart and a story that will have you holding your breath. My emotions were everywhere with this read. With a powerful conclusion I both adored and hated to see come to an end, this duolgy is one you need to get your hands on and hold tight. I am without a doubt addicted.

I have been in a rut for months. I first read "Rogue Wanderers" in November and picked it up once again this month to get out of one of the worst book slumps of my life and refresh myself on my why MH Cali will be an author that is an "automatic buy a physical copy" author for my indie shelves.
She has a way with writing this duet that kept me in a chokehold. It picked up right where Furtive Rebels ended and kept me engaged from beginning to end. Usually with duets, it can tend to fall off in the midst of the storyline, but not here. The character growth, plot twists and overall feelings engraved into this beautiful book will have you crying when it ends. By far one of the BEST duets I've read in a very long, might just be in my top 5 favorite duets ever!
I will also add she has a great spotify list for the Black Ops series that I've listened to for "the vibes" while reading both books! Highly recommend listening and reading to add to the reader experience!

My goodness, my heart is full with this journey. I couldn't have asked for a better ending to this story. As expected from Oliver and Mila, the storyline and tension keep getting better and better.
It picks up right where the first book ends. This one was more emotional and sentimental than the first book, and I may or may not have shed tears. This book was perfect in all aspects, whether it's in terms of writing, character development and portrayal, plot twist, story line, relationships, side characters, ending, romance, struggles, friendships, joy, spice, action, Or suspense. I fell in love with Oliver more in this book.
Just pick this series; it's definitely worth every penny and minute.

I think THE AUTHOR is trying to break my heart with the second book in this series. Gosh the amount of trust and faith Mila & Oliver (the protagonists) put in each other is what made me a fan of their relationship.
Even though they have their individual ghosts of the dark past, the way they support each other is what makes this story so intense and beautiful!!
The action (GODDD) was so good mixed with banter (MY FAVPURITE) and the tension between the characters made me hooked to this book till the end. You can feel the thrill just by reading it and you might even complete in 2 sittings (you must move your body).
The way author makes characters to question themselves regarding the past and how they unravels the darkness within them is absolute page turner and not only that the conclusion is what it all worth it!!
If you are fan of SPY ROMANCE , you must read it!!

Book 2 picks up right where book 1 ends which I greatly appreciate. Mila and Oliver are finding a way to make it work. Book 2 definitely kicks up the spice a notch while Mila and Oliver navigate a way to keep people safe. It's just not cut and dry so there is a lot that is debated.
Just when you think you have the story figured out......PLOT TWIST! At one point this book had me holding my breath. Mila and Oliver have so much in their path that I don't know how they stay so calm.
I can't say much more or there will be spoilers. The ending felt so very complete and I can say when you close this book you have a, 'wow, what did I just read' moment. In the best way possible of course!

This one picks up right where book 1 left off, and it did not disappoint!
Mila must come clean, and though she’s tough on the outside, it’s clear how difficult something like this would be. She not only hid her identity and now has to admit the truth, but now has to convince her own boss that working with the man she was meant to investigate is a good idea…
Oliver is just swoony. Although he hates dishonesty, he didn’t truly blame Mila, which is admirable. Not only that, but he didn’t want to hurt her himself. Though he tries to push her away, their chemistry is too strong to do so.
M H Cali blew me away with this duology. The writing makes you feel like you ARE the character. The settings are well created, and the dialogue is even better. I can’t wait to read more of her writing.

Rogue Wanderers by M.H. Cali is book two in the duology. This book was spectacular, just like Furtive Rebels. The story was filled with action, romance and spice.
I loved Mila and Oliver's relationship. I adored how their relationship developed in this book. The twists and turns keep the readers hooked till the end. Fun, romance, suspense, everything has my heart. The story is intriguing with a fast-paced plot. The cover art by Liana is impressive. I always adore M.H. Cali's writing style. I felt like I was traveling with the characters, which makes me deeply invested in the story.
Overall, I loved this book and would strongly recommend it to all.

Can we talk about an author that I am just continuously NOT disappointed in?! M.H. Cali is that for me! Her writing is the type that I feel can bring a new found confidence out in you…if you let it.
ITS THE WAY SHE WRITES! It’s like entrancing! Literally pulled into it- it is truly poetic. The words sort of dance off the page as a picture in your head. I am obsessed with the way the past conversations are presented to us as the readers- it’s so good!!
I am 100% obsessed with the black op duology!! Rogue Wanderers was just as freaking amazing as the first one! I was like holding onto my heart a few times during this one hoping all panned out!

Rogue Wanderers, the continuation of Furtive Rebels was just as incredible. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, it was action-packed, full of spice, and brimming with thrills. I wish I could experience it all over again for the first time. Like the first book, I devoured Rogue Wanderers. MH Cali’s writing remains absolutely beautiful.
The cover and chapter designs Liana did were also outstanding. Giving a clear indication of whose point of view you were about to read. It really enhances the reading experience and adds another layer of depth to the book.

This book starts right up where book 1 ended and I love that! It was seriously so good! Mila and Oliver are my favorite. Their relationship develops so much more in this one! And then that curveball M.H. Cali throws in I was not ready for that! It had me in my feels! Was really hoping for the best (you’ll have to read to find out if it turned out the way I was hoping) 😈
But on the real, there was so much more action, and spice, and the suspense on what was going to happen next, I really didn’t know. And that had me on the edge of my seat. While reading this one I was also laughing and just smiling the whole time. Oliver really knows how to swoon a lady. This duology was so so good! And I highly recommend them.

What a sequel! Cali delivers yet again another intense, spicy and thrilling read. Oliver and Mila were the power dynamic duo and I was left reeling with the book at the end. What a plot twist… I can’t say more without risking spoilers but it was such a delightful read, the spice has been amped up a notch and the second book felt satisfyingly concluded, the world you created was such a delight and thank you so much for the opportunity to be apart of your team and to read more of your work, the artwork was also stunning! Rivals to Lovers, emotional and thrilling. I rated this one ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨.

Once again, I absolutely devoured this book. I could not put it down. This book picks up right where the last one left off. It’s action packed and pulls on your heart strings. Oliver… the man that you are. For his biggest pet peeve to be liars, he really just pushed through and accepted Mila. I loved reading and watching their love bloom. All of the characters were so well written and you feel so immersed in the story. I did not want this to end. Obsessed!

This book picks up right where the first one ends. It is more emotional and sentimental than the first. This is the perfect sequel to Furtive Rebels, with action, romance, and spice. I loved watching Mila and Oliver’s relationship grow, and the twists and turns kept me hooked until the end.
M.H. Cali’s writing is pure magic. The story is fast-paced, and you won’t get bored at any point. The characters are well-developed. I fell in love with Oliver in this one.

5/5 stars. Absolutely loved where this book started! Didn’t miss a beat from book 1! Ohhh boy the stuff they have to work through for their love! Intense. The ups and downs and hiding takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions! It’s so well written and the plot is so good and it will keep you gripped just wanting to turn to the next page! This is the second book in the Black Ops duology. It was such a good continuation and just as engaging and thrilling as the first book. Another good read from this author.

this book is the 2nd book in the series and omg! I couldn't put it down!! I was in a chockhold from the 1st page until the last page! Cali just has a way of writing that makes you fall in love with the characters!

•I absolutely loved this book! It picked off right where part one ended which was great! I loved the characters of Mila and Oliver more in this book! Their passion for eachother is tested when the plot twist comes but after showing each other their true sides they are able to have an even stronger relationship and connection as before.

This book picked up where book 1 ended and answered so many questions I had! There is a lot of character development with Mila and it was really amazing to see the change into something good.
