No trigger warnings that I recall … but there were a few triggers.

Mattelyn (FMC) & Mo (MMC) are living their best lives. Are they though?? Book Two continues to share the story of Mattelyn & Mo (Mauricio), but you’ll also get a lot more of Antonia’s POV. Antonia truly believes that they are hell bent on destroying her life. She’s not someone to be underestimated, and you see a lot of that play out in this book.

I’m not a fast reader. I FINISHED THIS BOOK IN 6 HOURS!! The dialogue flows effortlessly, the drama unfolds on the pages better than a movie. The spicy factor? You may want to keep your “accessories” nearby because this book is ghost pepper spicy and well detailed. I laughed, screamed, and found myself shocked with each new development in the story.

I was fortunate enough to receive an Advance Reader Copy. This book has set the bar higher for me. I cannot wait for Book 3!

I read both books back to back on vacation, with every spar second I had away from family time...

Like most people I discovered the entangled series via tiktok! So I LOVED when I saw the creator of the viral vid being named in the dedications of book II. It made be buy more into Megan as a writer! These books are fantastic, my ONLY con of book II is that it wasn't long enough, but it was succinct and ended on the perfect cliffhanger!

I'm a fully invested fan of Megan, and I'm grateful to have discovered her here across the pond! 🇬🇧 And I'm excited to see where she takes her writing after the series, but most importantly how book III concludes!

Megan, sista girl!!! I'm not sure if you've always wanted to become a writer on the DL OR if Mo/you wanting revenge was purely the catalyst... But you NEED to keep the books coming please and thanks in advance!

P.s I STILL need the FULL tea on how "Antonia" really found out... 👀👀👀

Talk about a roller coaster of emotions! This is part two of my favorite book Entangled. Im usually not a person that cares enough to read a series but now I cannot wait for book 3!!!

In the beginning of the book we get a lot of back story on all the characters showing how their lives were before the affair began. At first I felt like it was a bit slow because I was wondering like why do I care about all this but wow was it necessary!!

Mauricio is just a cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater like DAMN!!

I still can’t even digest what I just read, but let’s get into the characters

Mattelyn: She just don’t know how to let up. She is the most delusional person on the planet earth. She is the definition of “THATS MY MAN & IMA STAND BESIDE HIM” bc whew chile. I’m sure we all know a Matt! She pissed me off from beginning to end!!!! And I’m still annoyed by her ass LOL

Mauricio: How is his meat small but he got Matt going crazy like this??? Please help me understand. He has to be like a wizard or something bc he got the whole flight crew obsessed with him. I am SOOOOOO happy we finally got to see his true colors it was such a relief to know that he really is exactly what I thought he was!

Antonia: I am so glad her true colors as well bc you can’t be Pablo Escobar daughter and not bout it! I really thought I had an idea on how Antonia would move but she REALLY shocked me at how smart she really is. I really doubted her but WOW.


Throughout this book we get alot of closure on a lot of the things that occurred in book 1. I’m not going to lie I was confused on who some of the characters were at first but then it started coming back to me. And I was like wait a damn min! I appreciate how everything began to come together as I was reading. I was like OMG WHAT GASP GASP. Hold your wig tight because once you think you have it figured out… YOU AREN’T EVEN CLOSE!

I CANNOT WAIT FOR BOOK 3 BC THE END🤯🤯🤯 The end scene f’d me up BIGTIME!

Babyyyyyy the stress, the drama, the justice that seems wrong to celebrate! Emancipated was more than I expected, definitely threw me a curve ball, yet still was everything I neeeeeeded! To have to wait a year for part 3 seems criminal. I love how the characters developed. I loved seeing how the main story played out. I need this in film so I can relive the stress all over again.

The drama

I mean it's not a terrible read. I think it could be better. But you lost me with all these people losing their mind for a Vienna sausage....girl?! And the second pregnancy. This one unfortunately became a skim to the end to watch the boss take out you know who 🤣 sorry. He deserved it. And your FMC......can't possibly be that delulu. BUT the drama is good, it's there.

Talk about a good series! I've never been so invested in book characters in my life. When I first was reading I was like this is very detailed but it alllll made sense in the end. We get some answered questions but then left with even more! I'm upset it ended on a cliffhanger but just when I thought the story couldn't get better in book 1, it still kept me interested and invested! I can not wait to get the 3rd story!

Can I even do this? Is rating my own book okay? Lol. I didn't think it was possible, but Emancipated is even messier, more thrilling, spicier than Entangled. I'm still shaken up by what I just read and I WROTE IT!
