I'm just always having such a fun time reading Lunas books. I'm a sl*t for her books and spice AND I'M NOT ASHAMED ABOUT IT.😌
First, the spice was PHENOMENAL AND HOT AF!!! I mean...which man would bark for his woman. Aaaagh, soooo good and good amout of spice and kinks are included. [4.5/5🌶️]
Second, the protagonists are amazing. Love the FMC and her sassy, baddie attitude. Their chemistry is also really great. I enjoyed reading about them.
Third, the storyline was not long-winded and quick to read. Btw, I love the short chapters in all the Luna Mason books, I always eat her books up in such a short time.
Only minus is that both protagonists drop the L word too fast and that they kinda fall too fast for each other. Would have loved to see the tension for a few more chapters.

sigh.. DNF at 63%. I had really high hopes for this book and i mean REALLY high hopes. I had been waiting for this and it was a HUGE letdown. there’s insta love and then there’s delusion. what’s that syndrome where you trauma bond to your rescuer? She has that. “I guess I do care about him and he had been taking care of me for years.” YET HAD NO IDEA WHO THIS MAN WAS? The whole Zoya and Ana fight was highschool energy. Zoya is an adult but acted like she was 17.
the “bark for me big man” made me ????? the nickname in itself was cringe. this entire book felt like it was written in 4 days. tt was so beyond rushed and there was so much room for potential and room for plot twists but nothing happened.

I really wanted to love this book, but I had to DNF at 70%. I loved Chaos and was intrigued by Mikhail’s character, and even though I’ve DNF’d other books in the series, I wanted to give this one a chance. But i guess it’s safe to say this author just don't do it for me.
This book had so much potential, but it fell flat. The characters didn’t connect at all. For starters, her mom’s passing felt so brushed off—like, where was the grief? Her mom just died, and she barely gave it a second thought before moving on like nothing happened. It felt so unrealistic. And then the meeting with Jax was just… bland. I remember how Katarina’s news hit Jax hard in his book, but here, it was like, “Oh, Hello I’m your brother,” and that was it.?? There was no real emotion, no depth.
The relationship between the FMC and MMC wasn’t any better. There was zero chemistry—it felt so forced. One minute he’s rescuing her, and the next they’re married and madly in love? There was no build-up, no angst, no deeper connection to make me care. It all just felt rushed and boring, and by that point, I couldn’t push through anymore....

So this is the last book for the BTS series and I was really really looking forward to Mikis story ! I felt like everything was moving a bit too fast. I wish there would’ve been more tension between Mikhail and you know who !! I did enjoy the smut tho !
My favorite character was Hades !! I always love pets in books 🥹🥹 I also really enjoyed seeing the other men from the first series (daddy Frankie hello) and I REALLY enjoyed the extended epilogue. I’ve been definitely looking forward to Enzo’s book since her first series so I definitely can’t wait for that 😭 he’s the one I’ve been most excited for !!!
Overall I would definitely recommend this series to anyone but I would strongly recommend reading the whole series that way you know who’s who !

smit galore buuuut….
The story starts out so fast paced I got emotional whip lash.
I hate to be critical about this stuff but i almost dnf’d because it was hard to read past certain things. The FMC’s hair color change throughout the story, the way she handles her mother’s death made no sense imo (she mourns for .2 seconds then goes on as if nothing happened), her immaturity at times got to me, mikhail allowing certain things to happen with zoya made no sense to me…the story just felt off for me…
Id like to say it feels like it all comes together at the end but it didnt quite get there for me.
I will say this book is spice as heck! And if thats what you most look forward to the. the spicy scenes were great! And u will truly enjoy this read if u can ignore all the other stuff. I have loved all her other stories so i will definitely read anything else she writes this one just missed the mark for me.

I just can’t do it anymore, I literally have no desire to pick this back up so i’ve decided to put myself out of my misery and DNF.
This book moved extremely fast and unfortunately this series went down hill fast for me.
I hope Luna takes her time with her new series since you could tell her last two books in this were incredibly rushed.
Such a shame since I loved Beneath the Mask and Chaos 🥲

No Spoilers, Promise 😘
I had no doubt that I would love this final book in the Beneath the Secrets series. Wow was I blown away! I’ve been waiting for Mikhail’s story and damn !!! What a ride! The last half of the book had me screaming!
I loved every chaotic moment of “what’s her name” and Miki’s story. Honestly, he absolutely needed someone as “bratty” as her to Claim him. Genuinely such a perfect pairing.
I can’t wait for Enzo’s story but, I’m so sad to say “goodbye” to these men. (Hoping Luna loves us enough to give us a peak at them again.) The epilogue was beyond perfect and let me tell you, my heart melted while reading it.
Perfect ending to this perfectly chaotic series🖤

The anticipation for Mikhail’s story is finally over and Ms. Mason ended the BTS series in the best possible way. All throughout this series Mikhail has been somewhat of a mystery, but no more.
Mikhail and that heart of his he thinks is bad…nope! That man has a heart of pure love when it comes to those he holds near and dear. If he promises to take care of something or someone he honors that and it eventually leads him to the woman who wins over his heart.
Here is where things get vague! The FMC is a guessing game. I thought I knew who it was going to be and I could not have been more wrong. I swear “what’s her name” was made for Mikhail. I absolutely loved her, she is the kind of FMC that really completes a story. Mikhail is not wrong when he calls her iskorka (spark)!
These two characters absolutely consumed me just like all of Luna’s stories have. They have some extreme heartfelt moments and then there were so many times of just fun. What’s her name truly brings life back to Mikhail.
It is always sad leaving a series but she gives her readers one hell of an ending to the Volkovs. We get characters from the BTM series, a glimpse at her upcoming spin off, and then Enzo and his upcoming story.

When I saw that Lucy Rivers and JF Harding were giving life to Ana and Mikhail the audiobook couldn't release soon enough for me. Both of them perform their hearts out. The Russian accents were perfect. I absolutely loved how JF narrates the parts where Mikhail is cussing in his mind, the way that he would almost whisper them....excellent. When he calls her "pretty girl"!!!! Then there is Lucy and having to be sweet Ana then switch to the snotty Zoya then back to Ana without missing a beat. This entire series has excellent narrators but I have to say these two made Claim my favorite audio for the series.

When I say I dove into this book, I went head first bc it was everything I want for Mikail’s book and the FMC is definitely his other half in every sense of the word.
I almost finished it in one sitting, but wanted to savor it bc I know it the last book in the Beneath the Secrets books.
The FMC is feisty and such a brat from the beginning.
This woman has balls of steal and will make you bow down and bark for her 😏 bc there is no Miki telling her no, it’s clear from their first meeting.
If you thought the MMC was going to be the only possessive and jealous one in this book, you are sadly mistaken.
This woman is fierce and will claw at anyone who tries to steal her man.
This is the woman you pick as your queen.
From the very beginning of this book, Luna has the readers diving head first into the action.
Miki has to pretend to be dead to save someone he promised to protect from his father.
And this woman doesn’t wait to be saved.
The way this woman has him in a chokehold, and the nicknames is this book, everything!
Hades loving her and protecting her more, cherry on top!
It was literally so beautiful the love that these two had for one another.
We get to see the vulnerable side to Miki that only his queen gets to see.
The scars run deep in this book and it’s a book that shows us there are people who love you despite them.
Also, this crazy found family in this is everything.
I loved reading about everyone from the Beneath the Mask series and getting everyone from the Beneath the Secret series together.

The end of an era. I have loved this entire series. It's been such a wild, fun, and spicy ride.
First off, it was amazing to finally find out who Mikhail's mystery woman is. I don't think I ever would have guessed lol.
Mikhail and his woman had some serious banter in the beginning, and I lived for it. I love a sassy FMC who's not afraid to back down, especially to our big, bad mafia boss.
This was a super fast paced story, taking place in both Russia and Vegas. When Mikhail finally rescues his woman from his evil father, him and our FMC (let's call her A), are on the run. This made for high spice and high amounts of action scenes. We did get to do a little bit of catching up with our characters from the previous books as well (hiiii to my favorite, Alexei).
What I loved was that Luna explained everything, and our story came full circle. I was left with no question when I finished the book, other than being extremely excited for Inferno and Enzo's story!

So we discover that Mikhail's mystery woman is Anatasia, who is betrothed to his evil father, Ivan.
So let's break down the complex family tree to find out who she is exactly.
Ivan's children are: Mikhail, Nikolai, and Lara. Ivan's 1st wife (who's name escapes me), was able to escape him and married Sergy. The reason this wasn't 5 stars for me is because it seemed a bit "insta lust" and some of the action scenes were a little confusing. I'm all for a possessive mafia boss, but the insta lust and then insta love seemed so fast. When they told one another "I love you" it seemed so out of the blue. I wanted more of the great tension and banter we got in the beginning - more "build up" if you will. Additionally, Ana's lack of confidence in Mikhail's love for her seemed a bit whiny. Yes, Zoya (Ivan's 2nd wife who had baby Galena, Mikhail's half sister whom they're protecting) was a b*tch trying to woo Mikhail. But when Ana threatened to sleep around because she thought Mikhail was being unfaithful, that whole scene just didn't seem right.
First off, it was amazing to finally find out who Mikhail's mystery woman is. I don't think I ever would have guessed lol.
Mikhail and his woman had some serious banter in the beginning, and I lived for it. I love a sassy FMC who's not afraid to back down, especially to our big, bad mafia boss.
This was a super fast paced story, taking place in both Russia and Vegas. When Mikhail finally rescues his woman from his evil father, him and our FMC (let's call her A), are on the run. This made for high spice and high amounts of action scenes. We did get to do a little bit of catching up with our characters from the previous books as well (hiiii to my favorite, Alexei).
What I loved was that Luna explained everything, and our story came full circle. I was left with no question when I finished the book, other than being extremely excited for Inferno and Enzo's story!

Those kinky mfs, perfection but I should’ve known that before I even read it because it was written by Luna. This was dark, sad, healing, had me feeling every emotion possible. I truly didn’t want to put this down and I didn’t, I stayed up until 3am to finish. What a great start of the year book.
Mikhail that dreamy bitch ugh, I loved everything about him and how much of a protector he was to everyone around him. The way he saw himself though broke my heart, he is so loved by everyone including me. When it came to her, mans really said ‘you want it? I got it.’ He actually said ‘“Try to max it out, I dare you.” PUDDLE😩 the love for ‘she who shall not be named until Luna names her’ is insane and so cute.
She who shall not be named until Luna names her✨ I loved her so much. She was a fire cracker, loyal, and those murder thoughts came real quick when it came to anyone wanting or going after Mikhail, I loved it 😂. My heart also broke for her but she gained a lot too which made me so happy. Her love for Mikhail was so fast but so real and she made sure he knew that.
Together those two were fireworks. I love the way they worked and fit together. Their love is so hardcore but so soft and they both definitely needed the soft in their lives and each other of course.
Aside from their relationship, the drama was insane. The plot twist I didn’t expect but I should’ve. I guess what really got me was the motive, I knew something was going to happen but I thought it would’ve been for a different reason.
Let’s get to the real hero, hades 🥹 that beautiful baby deserves every treat in the world.

I think this might just be my favorite in the series so far! Everything came together perfectly in this one, the story, the characters, and especially the audiobook narration.
Lucy and J.F. Harding absolutely nailed it. They brought Mikhail and Ana to life with so much emotion and tension, I felt like I was right there in the middle of all the chaos and heat. Mikhail was your classic grumpy, obsessive Bratva boss (in the best way), and Ana balanced him out so well — sweet, but with just enough fire to keep him on his toes.
Story-wise, it had everything you'd expect from a solid mafia romance: danger, passion, and all the juicy Bratva drama. The spice level? Definitely high — but it never overshadowed the plot, which was packed with twists and action that kept me hooked.

Going to write some major spoilers because I want to remember key details for the next books!!!
Absolutely loved Ana and Mikhail!!
Ana is his mom’s boyfriend’s daughter and the day his mom and her boyfriend died he asked Mikhail to take care of Ana and watch out for them. This is the same explosion that killed his brothers wife. Since then he has taken care of Ana financially and Zoya his dad’s wife. Zoya is the reason their dad showed up and killed the other family members they had taken Zoya.. well turns out Zoya sucks
There is OWD but not on his end the woman was his step mom that he’s hiding from his father he’s hiding her because she has a little girl that’s Mikhails half sister.. but let me tell you this woman Zoya SUCKS!!
Zoya we later find out that shes the one reaching out to Mikahils dad giving him information. She kidnaps Mikhail and is just awful her “plan” was to seduce him to begin with and that didn’t work so she kidnapped him and was going to rape him to get her pregnant but thankfully he was saved!! Of course Ana insisted on going when they saved him with the DOG HADES!!! And the dog killed her!!!! (Thankfully this is a woman sucked)
The story line is they fall in love and get married quickly while at the safe house!! His family is pretty awesome they love her!!
It was a good story I’m sad this series is over but I’m dying for Enzo’s book!!

This was such a sweet read I'm so sad it's over 😭 but omg I have so many thoughts on future Luna Mason books. Like Enzo 🤭 he is mine no one else can have him. But like, at the same time Declan 🤭..... but like also when does Tatiana get her book 😮💨 but like also will it be with Drago 🫠. I really can't decide who to fall in love with next all I know is that Ana is a badass and I was cheering her on with Alexei to drown Zoya (that bitch) in the pool (in my eyes Ana won 🥰). Anyways, love love love I want more I need more I crave (🤭) more.

I was really enjoying this book up until 75% in. I think that Ana and Mikhail had a great dynamic, they were actually really perfect for each other. I was kind of confused around who was related to who but the four family aspect was cute.
I just personally didn’t like the scene with the X Cross, for my own personal beliefs, it turned me off of the book and made me lose interest up until the end.

I've been waiting for this book for the longest time and am so happy it is finally here. I gotta admit it was a bit more fast-paced than I thought it would be. It took me by surprise just how quickly everything happened between Mikhail and our lovely FMC. I little bit more tension would have been nice. Other than that, I have no complaints and pretty much devoured this book and as usual, Luna did not disappoint with the spice and drama in this book.
While I love the main characters, Hades has to take the win when it comes to my favorite character. Anytime he showed up in the book, I couldn't help but smile and just be happy. He was absolutely amazing and I loved every second of it. It was so much fun seeing his bonds with the FMC continue to grow.
Overall, I think it was a good wrap to the Beneath the Secrets series. As always, I cannot wait to see what else Luna has in store of us. I'm already anticipating learning more about Enzo's story.

Claim is the 4th and final book in the Beneath the Secrets series and like all her books, proves that Luna Mason knows how to write mafia! She writes tough FMCs and swoon worthy mafia men…Ana and Mikhail are no different. This might be my favorite book from this series and I wasn’t ready for it to end! Packed with action, suspense, and all the drama, I didn’t want to put this one down!

These characters and their story drew me in and kept me in a chokehold. Phenomenal performances from these two voice actors paired with Luna’s writing!
