This is an e-book that began as a biography. However, as I started writing, I realized my journey of healing was the true essence I wanted to convey, rather than dredging up every painful detail of the past. Instead, I've used this time to share my story and help others facing similar childhood trauma that can persist into womanhood. Though our paths to recovery may differ, they could serve as guideposts for one another.
Therapy is not always the ideal or preferred choice for healing for most of us. My first experience with a therapist left me disillusioned, deterring me from seeking another one until much later when I had done more research. I also learned therapy does not necessarily mean sitting in someone's office or even virtual face-to-face meetings. There are alternative therapeutic resources available, such as vlogging and journaling.
In this book, I explore various creative outlets that can facilitate unveiling trauma, releasing pent-up emotions, rediscovering self-love, and ultimately achieving inner peace. Each method provides a unique pathway for confronting the past's lingering effects while reclaiming one's narrative.
