The An underworld of drug smugglers, assassins, anonymous hackers and slave traders operating out of the "Deep Web".

Computer Science instructor Chase Reid has seen worse days. Once a feared member of a team of hackers that cracked bank security and even took on the NSA's team of "super hackers", he now has put all that behind him to teach young and gifted minds. Karma goes south however when a runaway with a lust for all things digital steals his encrypted laptop. A hacker not unlike himself, the kid exhibits a gift for evasion, and thus he seeks help from his old comrades in the deep web, who will help him retrieve it... for a price.

From there it is a non-stop thriller of a rollercoaster full of corkscrews and loops across the southern states of the USA, from the French Quarter to the Gulf of Mexico, and in the end learns friends have become enemies, and enemies, friends...and in the least likely of places.

A techno thriller that will leave you eager to read the sequel!
